Used to be Great — Now Ruined by Greedy Pricing Changes This app was easy to use and worked well — until they completely overhauled the pricing plans. The new plans are overpriced and offer less value. It’s frustrating to see a good app go down this path just to squeeze more money out of loyal users. We were planning to expand by adding another country, but the new pricing made it a no-go. We've already started switching to an alternative that's free and powered by AI. Disappointing move by the developers.

Quite difficult to set up in the beginning but the customer support is very helpful and responds quickly. Happy with the translations and how the app works (we do recommend translating with DeepL within the app).

I was offered 1 YEAR of free subscription in exchange for changing my review. However, after a long and frustrating communication with the LangShop team, it became clear that they do not truly understand the real issues I’m facing. The app practically doesn’t work properly or doesn’t work at all. Automatic translations often fail or are incomplete. Sometimes translations get incorrectly duplicated or missing. The app’s behavior is inconsistent and unpredictable — only 10-30% of my newly created products are translated correctly. Even after explaining the problem many times in detail, their support still doesn’t grasp the core issues. The process to fix or overwrite translations is complicated, slow, and inefficient. Adding glossary rules is a nightmare since it must be done manually for each language separately, and reapplying translations affects fields I don’t want to change. The technical support responds quickly, which is the only positive thing, but unfortunately, they practically don’t help solve the real problems. When something requires developer intervention, you are often left without any answers. The app itself is quite inconvenient and buggy. Automatic translation of products and collections does not work properly — sometimes it doesn’t translate at all, sometimes only partially, and sometimes it even inserts translations from other products without notifying you. The app shows these products as “translated,” but you only realize the problem when you check the product in the target language. The glossary management is very inconvenient. You have to add each rule separately for every language. In other apps, you can add glossary rules once and apply them across all languages if needed, which is much more practical. Also, the default sorting of products inside the app is “old products first.” To find and translate newly added products, you need to apply the “new first” filter, but applying this filter on 800+ products can take up to two minutes. Worse, the filter resets while you select products, so you have to apply it repeatedly — and with 9 languages to manage, it’s a nightmare. The team asks me repeatedly how I create products, but I always do it the same way — their app just can’t handle normal workflows. Their answers are often excuses, and I had to find my own workaround because their developers apparently can’t or won’t fix the bugs quickly. Months have passed, and “near future” updates still don’t arrive. I subscribed to the “advanced” plan for $75 when old pricing was still valid, assuming unlimited usage, but honestly, it’s not worth it. Especially considering their current astronomical price of $500 per month. In short, the app causes more problems than it solves, and support is unhelpful and defensive. I’m actively searching for an alternative and do not recommend LangShop. The only positive aspect is the polite and respectful customer support, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.

As for the glossary rules for multiple languages at once — our developers are scheduled to begin work on this at the end of May and we expect the implementation to take approximately 1.5 weeks. Lastly, in regard to applying glossary rules to a specific section only — this is a more complex feature, and currently we do not have a set timeline. However, the team is evaluating possible approaches, and we’ll keep you posted on any progress. We truly appreciate your suggestions — they help us make the app better for everyone. I like the app overall, it does have quite a few quirks here and there but you learn to get around it. There has not been any, as far as I can see, improvements to usability or things that really matter - such as auto-translate of products BUT only for certain fields like title, description etc. It will completely clog up when translating behind-the-scene data should as metafields etc.

LangShop has been a game-changer for managing our multilingual store. The integration with DeepL is seamless and really enhances the overall translation quality. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, even if you're not super tech-savvy. One of the standout features for us is the ability to translate dynamic content and metafields—this has been incredibly useful as we expand into new markets. Setup was quick, and the app continues to improve with frequent updates. What really impressed us, though, is the customer support. They're responsive, helpful, and clearly care about your success. If you're looking to scale internationally and boost global sales, LangShop is definitely worth it.

Všetko v pořádku. Používame pro vícero jazykov na Oneminers,com . Prěkládá obstojně a uloží preklady do natívnej databázy shopify prekladov. Zatial vše super, jen neumí překládat ALT obrázků čo je škoda. No. Ale to uživatel nepotrěbuje .

Really terrific app - 5 languages added in a matter of hours, and the online support was great for a couple of teething problems I had! I even had native speakers look at the translations and they confirmed that they were very good! The price is great too - when you compare it to something like Weglot, this is a far more reasonable price point for a small business!

Ik heb deze app getest en ben erg onder de indruk. De beste die we tot nu toe hebben gebruikt. Vanuit het Engels vertalen we onze winkel naar 5 talen, waaronder Nederlands, wat altijd lastig is, maar de app doet geweldig werk door het natuurlijk te laten klinken met de Deepl-integratie. We gebruiken ook Japans omdat dit een belangrijke markt voor ons is en dit is de eerste app waarbij onze klanten uit Japan geen opmerkingen maken over wartaal. Een echte aanrader.

En bra app för att översätta hela eller delar av sidan till olika språk. Vi använder Langshop just nu för 11 olika marknader och det fungerar väldigt bra. Langshop hade varit 5/5 stjärnor om den även kunde översätta internlänkar.

if you just want to translate your products this is a good app but if you frequently change your theme design or your entire theme then it is a little hard becuz you can not edit your theme design for the additional languages!

Wir haben uns für die App entschieden, weil es einer der wenigen war die unsere Anforderungen gerecht werden konnte. Mehr als 5 Sprachen, DeepL integration, Code-Ausschließungen, Glossar Funktion. Das beste feature ist, dass es direkt auf den Shopify Shop und deren Markets/ Domain konfiguration aufsetzt weswegen eine übergreifende Übersetzung trotz verschiedener Domains möglich ist. Loving it!
