Not sure what happened to Mailchimp but my bills started out reasonable but as my business grew, my bill ballooned into this extreme amount each month. What’s worse is when I went to cancel, they charged me even more for “additional contact blocks” what for? No clue… …. Felt like they were holding my account as ransom and I had to pay $100 to close my account to avoid the new monthly fee from hitting my card…. There are a lot of options out there, choose one of them.

Application et services très intuitifs, très facile d'utilisation. Pas toujours facile cependant de maîtriser son design et la mise en page des newsletters. Mais ensuite ça se gâte. Je rencontre de nombreux problèmes de synchronisation avec shopify et d'intégration dans shopify. Par exemple je ne retrouve pas le même nombre d'abonnés côté shopify et côté mailchimp, il n'y a pas la possibilité de segmenter correctement par rapport à des chiffres d'affaire générés ou autre (contrairement à ce qui est régulièrement annoncé et mis en avant). Lorsque vous essayer d'avoir des explications avec le support. C'est lunaire. C'est le point très négatif: l'équipe support est un fake. D'où ma note. J'ai 3 problèmes en cours qui trainent depuis plusieurs semaines. Les réponses sont évasives, différentes selon interlocuteur, elle reporte l'investigation, et la résolution du problème sur l'utilisateur. Dernier exemple en date : le pop up pour l'inscription à la newsletter qui s'affiche sur mon site alors que je l'ai désactivé, puis supprimé depuis mailchimp (car ça ne fonctionnait pas). Il continuait à s'afficher malgré tout sur mon site. Le support m'a invité à faire appel à un développeur freelance ! Ce n'est pas l'aide que l'on attend d'un support. Malgré les nombreuses qualités de Mailchimp (mais que l'on trouve ailleurs) l'incompétence et la mauvaise fois de l'équipe support m'amènent à mettre cette note. À contre coeur.

If you have the opportunity to use it, it is better to waste it. Good luck trying to cancel the subscription. They will charge ridiculously things when you try and won't let you until you pay.

*** A Terrible Experience with Mailchimp – Unfair Billing Practices *** My experience with Mailchimp has been highly disappointing, and I cannot in good conscience recommend their service. I initially chose Mailchimp as a backup system for my emails, using the Essentials plan at $11.00 per month. However, at some point, they shifted to a business model that, in my opinion, is unfair. Their two-tier billing system charges inflated prices for a Contact Block with 250 contacts, even though they could simply switch customers to an Adjusted Plan—which costs half the price. Billing Issues & Lack of Customer Support On January 26, 2024, we contacted Mailchimp to pause our billing after our system was spammed with thousands of fake sign-ups, which inflated not only our Mailchimp charges but also affected other integrated systems. Our message was clear: "We have a problem with our list, which has grown beyond expectations due to spam. Can you set our billing on hold while we try to find a solution? As you can see, we are not sending out any campaigns from our account." Despite this explicit request, Mailchimp continued billing us every month, totaling $3,990.25. When I followed up again on January 26, 2025, their response was a generic, unhelpful email: "Hey there, Thanks for being patient with your Mailchimp support request. We apologize for our slower response times as we are experiencing extremely high volume. If the above information does not help, please ensure you are writing from the account's owner/admin email address and reply to this email. We will prioritize your reply and reach out as soon as we can. We appreciate your patience!" Meanwhile, they continue charging my card $516.75 per month. Unfair Practices & Difficult Cancellation Process To make matters worse, Mailchimp has made it unnecessarily difficult to disconnect from Shopify. When attempting to remove the integration, they display an alarming message: "Are you sure you want to disconnect? Disconnecting your Mailchimp account will cause any Shopify data that's been synced to be deleted from Mailchimp. That can't be undone!" Final Verdict: Think Twice Before Using Mailchimp Mailchimp's billing practices and lack of customer support make them an unreliable and frustrating choice for email marketing. If you're considering Mailchimp for Shopify or any other platform, I strongly advise you to think twice before committing.

Mailchimp has really gone down hill since they were acquired by Intuit. This app is terrible because it is now spamming my new customers with double-opt-in emails - some customers get those emails every day for a week straight, even though double-opt-in should be deactivated. The app is broken, it HAS BEEN broken for like 2 months, and they still haven't bothered to fix it. This makes me very upset. And I pay a lot for their services. I no longer feel it is worth it.

They have many bugs in the last months and the biggest one is when our store was disconnected from they’re servers and we need to wait for more than 48 hours to finish the resync.

Terrible customer service. Take days to respond to any issue and refuse to help a small business in anyway. Charging me £120 for a month for a service I can’t use and they refuse to help. Avoid and look at other alternatives, perhaps more customer service focussed.

its Sync option and chat support is very poor i was stuck at sync and got chat support there software has not solution. Shopify mail is much easier than mailchimp and other e mail marketing app

I found over recent years the integration with Shopify has improved, but its still far from the level other mail solutions are at. The final straw for writing this review has been trying to pause / deactivate a simple pop up / sign up form. Despite doing this there is still code / script on our site and we are left with a generic sign up form which mailchimp support can not help with. We are advised to hire "an expert" to solve this ! heck we just want to turn off a pop up form and try another one ... well this final straw will be the catalyst to finding another Email solution. Update .. now they want me to update my review .. OK well how is this. After MailChimp told me over and over that this was our issue and to hire an expert to remove the code ... Turns our it was their issue and their Developers identified the problem and removed the code. Their support was unwavering is their response that this was our issue. But we would not give in. Then in the end No Apology.

Well Chimps, after using your App for 12 plus years I must say your service has sunk to a new low. This use to be a solution based company, now strictly policy first dam the customer. (No Common Sense) Your domain validation code is faulty and you do not stand behind what you publish. I wanted to speak with one of your supervisors today, but we are not on your plan. I was shocked after been a low maintenance account for 12 plus years that has drop $15,000.00 over the life cycle with your firm that you would though up such walls. Folks in the industry server providers are not looking kindly on your ways of bouncing your customer back and forth. This is not how we built the internet. If we worked like this we would still be running DOS or using punch cards. So with this being stated. MailChimp you firm is on notice and we will be reviewing our option. After the last 2 weeks and thousand in lost sales you have broken the one thing you have in the industry "Trust" Respectfully David Foster The Abbey Collection 06-14-2024 Your Firm Is On Notice. Yes I got a email reply. Unacceptable Response!

They charge you by how many people add stuff in the cart but don't have anything to detect bots so we are having crazy fees about this and they can't do nothing about it. We where not able to add the recapcha to any of our creating form and when we uninstall the app we are now able to add the recapcha. Now we don't have the app and we still receive a huge fees again on our credit card. Plus we don't have the bot problem anymore. I would not recommand this app.

I'm bleeding subscribers! My subscribers, some of them my best customers, are being switched from "subscribed" to "non-subscribed", and apparently there's nothing you can do about it! I'm going to have to switch to a different email provider after 9 years with MailChimp.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. They cleverly hide the prices and overcharge for everything. In spite of disabling my account over a month ago and not using it - they have charged me $100 for last month - no reply from their end on the fraudulant charge

Terrible - it schedules some emails, but not others. Doesn't send the scheduled ones when they're required and also sends abandon carts emails when the customer has already made a purchase, despite all the flows being set up correctly. Would NOT recommend it.
