Don't recommend. Tried connecting to a medium size ebay store and had several issues. The app was very slow to load. Product with variants wouldn't import from the ebay account with their full variant codes. I wanted to make no live changes to my ebay listings while I was getting this set up and turned off all syncing options, I told support this when I contacted them about the bug with the sku codes not showing up correctly. The agent that had no understanding of what the issue was, went round in circles about it and eventually deleted a listing without asking for permission first. Horrible experience. I had to spend several hours fixing the issues the agent caused on my ebay store. I deleted this app after that.
This is the worst app I have ever used. The Etsy connecting is mapping discontinued products and keeps listing them on Etsy. I cannot find any way to stop this from happening. I delete them, they come back. Uninstalling the whole thing. It is unusable.

DO NOT SWITCH FROM LEGACY CODISTO! It has been nothing but trouble for us for switching to 'new' Marketplace Connect. eBay integration is broken and will not allow you to sync your existing catalogue. I expected better features and support now that Shopify took over Codisto. It is however, downgraded significantly in both areas. The features no longer work. And the support is ridicule as the agents don't seem to have a clue.

Does not support variants at all. Just pushes the first variant of a product to a marketplace. Totally useless and a waste of time in my opinion. The customer support has been unhelpful and slow. I'm disappointed with the overall experience.
Worst customer service. A representitive name Noel lied and tried to gaslight me. We chose to do a price increase on Amazon in order to offset the Amazon fees. The app published the products in the original Shopify price. When I contacted customer service, they said tha the price the app sent was correct. I send them screenshot showing that the price was wrong. He wrote "One thing for sure is that the App sends the information/details to your Amazon Seller Central with the correct Prices. " That was a LIE as the screenshot shows it did not.
Was hopping that now this was part of the Shopify family the app would improve they never mind taking the subscription fees but it’s very slow at loading. It has problems with categories, pictures and barcodes sinking between eBay and shopify. Customer services are quick to answer but have limited knowledge so it then takes many conversations backwards and forwards and we are still waiting for issues to be resolved.

The app works very bad on amazon seller account, service havent solved the problems sync amazon orders. Bad experience and after 1 month I canceled the app.

Amazon works fine. If you try to connect Google market , they let you configure anything an after MANY hours of troubleshoots, youtube video, searching, they told me they do not support. They should just remove it. The agent who answered me just told me : no nothing we can do. Same thing for Walmart Canada.. They do not support. And if you are from Canada, you can not change the fulfillment center , you have to use Walmart US and manage with this. Bad to let people waste time on feature offered but not supported anymore

Since transitioning from Codisto to Marketplace Connect, we've encountered several issues with core functionality, including the inability to use HTML in descriptions, position photos, or fix variation pricing. This caused significant disruption, requiring 48 hours of downtime and 2 days to manually fix listing errors. While we appreciate the support team's acknowledgement of the issue, a faster resolution is crucial. We recommend prioritizing fixing these core functionalities and consider integrating with other listing management tools until stability improves. We hope Marketplace Connect can regain its potential as a valuable tool for eBay sellers

The Etsy integration has a lot of problems. I edited things directly on Etsy because there are many properties that can't be changed in the app. However, when it syncs, it just replaces everything I changed. If it was only a few changes overwritten, I could manage, but it's over half a dozen.

Worked fine for Ebay, won't connect to Walmart. We contacted tech support and they tried to get it working, but were unable to connect. Wasted a day trying to get this set up.

Barely works for Etsy. I can't speak to the other integrations because I only connected Etsy and had a bad experience. If your Etsy listings are exactly the same as your shopify products, this app will sync purchases. However, it will not sync any discounts that the customer applies on Etsy so it makes all analytics on Shopify useless. It also will not sync any personalization data from Etsy. I was able to do some matching using SKU, but it still didn't work great. If you complete the order on Etsy, it will not sync the data to Shopify. I could have made this work were it not for the discounts not being reflected, but after having contacted support several times with no solution, I have given up.

This app has been nothing but a headache. Support usually has no clue how to fix things, although they are usually very nice. It's unfortunate because this app is totally necessary if you sell on Walmart. It would be so simple to explain how to fix the app but seems there have been no upgrades on this app in forever. It's a pity. I wish someone that works at this app/company would actually fix it and make it work properly. EDIT – After several support attempts — the main issues with the app still persist. Want a custom product detail page for shopify—that's awesome! But NOT awesome if you realize that EVERYTHING SYNCS TO WALMART AND THERE IS ZERO CUSTOMIZATION.

Really poor quality customer service. It took months from the time I reported the problem to the investigation, and then they told me to contact shopify myself because the cause was due to the data values provided by shopify. Why don't they try to check with shopify themselves regarding the problem with their app, which is released as an official app on the shopify platform? And the glitch is not a small one, but a fatal one for the users that tracking information is not reflected to Etsy properly. I really can't believe it.

This app did not work. After troubleshooting for a week with multiple support agents, we weren't able to get the inventory to send over to Walmart Seller account. Also, you can't have different images over on Walmart from your Shopify images. I really wanted this app to work, but might need to go back to Sellbrite.

I have been given either untrue or false information on at least 8-10 occasions by various team members regarding my listings being uploaded to wal-mart.com. It seems that the vast majority of team members here either tell you what you want to hear and are either clueless as to what they are doing or just don't care. I will update this if this changes.

Horrible Experience in transitioning from Codisto to Marketplace Connect. Without ANY warning, the app stops working. Just found out through a random routine check. Support agent only half-reads my messages, gives out wrong information with high confidence which does not fix the issue at all, and promptly goes offline to not be reached again. Overall, not trustworthy.

I had a really bad experience with the customer service of this marketplace connector. If you encounter an issue that's not easy to fix, you'll end up exchanging emails which is a very slow way of troubleshooting. The customer service team should call you and help you solve the problem over the phone. I've been waiting for over a week just to get a basic issue resolved because I have to wait for a response, then perform the task and send an email back to see if it worked. What should have been a 10-minute task is now taking me at least a full day. I was trying to list items on Amazon using this connector but still can't. So, I'm considering scrapping the idea of using this marketplace connector for Amazon listings altogether.

Okay this app literally does not do the single thing it is supposed to do, which is syncing your pricing and inventory counts to 3rd party marketplaces. I have spent hours on chats and videocalls with support and they have absolutely nothing for me. It's with the developer team which is laughable because I am asking for the most basic functionality of the app to work the way that all of their reps expect it to work. Just an utterly unusable product.

UPDATE: 12/11/2023 - This app continues to get worse. At any given point, items will just stop syncing to ebay completely. Tile, pricing and inventory updates sometimes do not sync at all. As of now, we have had to reach out to customer support 6 or 7 days in a row for almost the same issues every time. Every time we reach out they say the same thing "we see the issue and it is fixed now". Then it works for a few hours, then stops working correctly again. I apparently have an open case that was escalated but there have been no updates. Yes, customer support chat is fast to reply, but when it doesn't result in the app being fixed, it hardly matters. We plant to compile our conversations and experience and submit a case to Shopify soon. We have lost money and a ton of time by using this app and we just want it to work. Again, I'll update this review if they ever get the app working correctly. For future users, note that this app is not ready for production if you have a large store with a lot of products. If you are seling a small amount, it should work for you but plan on doing a LOT of manual updates on your products and working with customer service nearly every day when syncing stops working. ORIGINAL REVIEW - I want to love this app, but it's painfully slow when using with ebay. I'll sometimes receive an order on ebay and it takes 40 minutes to an hour (or even more) before it syncs back to my Shopify store. If it's an item that is nearly sold out when this happens, the item sometimes sells out before the sync, causing it to be oversold. I've already had to cancel multiple ebay orders and refund customers due to this delay. Customer support blames ebay, ebay blames the Connect app. All I know is that if you chat with Connect support, they can manually force the sync and the orders magically show up. So if they can do that, then it's clearly something on this end, not on ebay's. There are also many listing fields that cannot be edited in mapping, such as Volume Pricing. Descriptions also do not float over on products, so I had to set a default one to post for all ebay listings. Long story short, this app COULD be great, but the slowness in syncing is causing me to look for alternatives. Or add a "manual sync" on the Orders page so we can force them to sync. Even as we speak, I have two orders on ebay that were pad for over an hour ago that still have not synced to shopify, one is now sold out, so I'll have to cancel and refund. So annoying! I'll update my review if they ever fix this.
