Their Support has become significantly worse recently, specifically "Adrian" who has repeatedly given incorrect advice which reads like it's coming from ChatGPT...

I wanted to give this app a great review as I was excited to get my products connected with my Etsy store. However now that's it's connected and I have spent many hours making sure the titles and products ingredients and categories, tags etc are set up as necessary. EVERY TIME a product is sold on my shopify store it goes back and overwrites the details I have updated on Etsy. The connection I required was simply to update the quantity. They should offer this as an option - only update the quantity when checking the shopify site for updates.

I use this for eBay and it is pretty buggy. I estimate I have to create a ticket with support monthly for bugs. Resolving the errors always involves me fixing the bugs which takes up my time despite them being issues with the app. For $29 a month it is way overpriced

Support is good and the app connects well to most marketplaces except for eBay which is a nightmare. I wish there was an easier way to disconnect incorrectly linked products rather than wait a few days for support to do it.

The amount of support requests i've had to log has been crazy. There's so many issues with submissions, and the errors are not clear that i've been able to get an explanation and actual fix for why it happens, more just troubleshoot "Delete and re-create". But here's the kicker, I work in software development, and the brilliance of an API service is map once and set and forget. There should be NO errors unless someone types in invalid numbers but then a field shouldn't even save. I updated all my listings with the same values via bulk editor (this feature is good). But then when I sync, some fail, some work, some take 8-24 HOURS :| (or hang longer but I deleted and re-created). APIs work QUICK. For the amount of fields that are populating it should only take a few minutes give or take for ASIN generation. I have had to spend the last 2.5 weeks uploading only 1-3 products a day. Sometimes I can send a few extra during certain periods of the day, but if you don't do it within these 4 hours in a day, it's going to take several hours. The fact that it CAN sync 2-3 products in an hour means that there is something just wrong in the code to not do this consistently. All my component values are the same in bulk upload so it is not this. I see things from: - Parent not syncing, but variants appearing (it shows published/offer listed; no errors) - Parent syncing and not variants (still showing publishing after several hours) - Nothing appearing at all, then leave for 24 hours come back and they're all there. - Item classification changed after it was initially submitted and deleted (I haven't changed anything, all I ever do is wait for several hours, delete and re-toggle back in hoping that it will fix itself, then it can randomly come back with this error!) The problem is - ITS INCONSISTENT when it shouldn't be. If all products are the exact same, with different title and descriptions, but the same categories etc then I shouldn't see any of this. If I see an error thats my fault, I fix it on all of them, but no the amount of errors I keep getting is crazy. I have to start and stop the syncs. Honestly this shouldn't happen. And support will say it takes time, yep ive given time, but again why is it that I could sync 2 in half hour, and then some take over 24 hours. I also use Printful direct integration to Amazon as well, they are consistent with submission times so far, I let it run for 30 min, come back and it's done. So probably even earlier than that, doesn't take longer. If printful can send this data via API, then it's not Amazon services. I've sent several from Printful over while i'm still waiting on one product to sync that I started YESTERDAY from marketplace connect. I never thought i'd say this, but I'd seriously just pay for a platform to send it all in bulk and not have these hiccups. If I knew that it would work the way i've got it laid out, i'd pay good money to get it just done. Instead it's taking me hours of my life to just watch and monitor this stuff and determine "is it going to error... should I stop it now? should I delete the variants incase it's stuck hanging and then resume" etc etc. No support team don't reach out for me to ask for more help, you have all of my tickets, you can see how stressful this is. It could be a great application but your interface showing "pending" but then an error but then back to pending is poorly implemented. If you have validation checks on all your input fields correctly then there should be no errors (or extremely rare, like GTIN exemption not received for that category). I just want your product fixed. PLEASE. 2 Stars because of the ability to customize and the bulk upload, but otherwise would have been 0, really.

If you are looking to sync with Amazon, it is decent, and you will need to connect with customer service. They are very helpful with Amazon. However, if you need to connect with Etsy, customer service does not have a clue. They send you pages to read, but in reality, it does not work. I have already spent 7 days contacting customer service morning and night (by the way, they do not work on weekends) and still have no solution. Only 2 items have synced, but using the same settings doesn't work for others. Please fix the issue with Etsy and improve customer service .

Works fine for ebay but not Amazon. I've been put through the wringer with this company and have been with them for 12 months so it's not a knee jerk reaction but MarketPlace Connect simply does not do what it says. I keep being told developers are looking into it but it's not solved. I don't believe they have the technical skills because simple listings do not sync with Amazon and are stuck in publishing mode. I've waited 2 months for this to be sorted but run out of patience. I absolutely do not recommend this app for Amazon syncing.

The App works but beware despite turning off "Import Orders" (which Shopify explicitly say is the only chargeable part of the app) Shopify began charging me significant amounts, going against their own terms and conditions, and without my permission. I was not importing orders, just syncing product inventory to our Amazon account (which is a significant size now). They decided to start charging us a fee for all our Amazon orders completely unrelated to anything Marketplace connect. My money is still being held although apparently the billing team are looking into it but it does not seem to be going anywhere.

It is not user friendly. I have been getting help from staff at Shopify Marketplace, but we can't fix the problems. I would like someone to connect with me who can solve the issues with connecting to Amazon

My overall experience with the app isn't great as I'm not finding it very user friendly and guides on how to use it aren't visible. However I've just had a positive customer service experience with Lou via email- she was very helpful, answered all my questions and provided links to further information I need. Her responses were prompt too.

Standard so-so, Shopify-built app that reminds me of Shopify Flow. It does some things but not the things you want. It does not integrate with useful new features that Shopify has introduced - like Metafields. You spend many, many hours figuring out that it does not do these things. Do you use a metafield to hold your UPC data? You're out of luck. Need to refresh a SKU that you've replaced with UPC data so that you can sell it on eBay? You're out of luck. Need to reset a listing that has errored out? You're out of luck. If you have a customized Shopify store you're not going to enjoy this.

Can only be used on laptop/desktop (not through the Shopify App). Difficult to navigate and overly complicated. Runs very slowly and takes a while for new products to appear in listing results. New products must be manually updated (no auto-transfer). Screen recordings aren't supported by support chat system. But support is 24/7, responds to initial message quickly, willing to Google Meet/screen share, and answers questions effectively. The support team is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of just 1 star. I've been using the Shuttle app for over a year, and even though it costs $5 per month, it's soooo much better!

I've used this on and off for years. Has been very buggy in the past and 'gotten us in trouble' with amazon because randomly stopped syncing. I see that they now are charging 1% of revenue of synced listings, on top of their app charges, which I find unbelievably greedy. This must be some kind of monopolistic advantage. Anyway, you can't just push your listings to Amazon and be done - AZ is super complex and the listings must be highly customized. After 5-8 years we are going to find another app due to this greedy policy change. I suspect they changed their name from Codisto in order to avoid their reputation of poor service in the past. For some reason this is Shopify's go to recommendation and I have no idea why.

I tried to connect to our etsy store. That app is really hard to understand, I'd say impossible. Terrible interface. Random products were exported and I could not get to the bottom why these. Bulk editing does not work. Filtering products does not really work. All in all I had to delete the app cause it was making my life harder instead of easier.

not very good, not all the categories of Amazon is in this app, so when u send date from shopify to Amazon you are not able to select correct category and then Amazon won't allow u to change it. Customer care support is on and off, some time u get a good person some times totally waste of time. only reason I started using it with the thought that its by Shopify but not looking for other apps to select and that may cost me a lot of time in setup.

To be honest, I thought it would be easy to sync listings to different marketplaces. So far I have been able to list my products on Etsy and eBay successfully, but I am struggling a lot with Amazon. Syncing products to Amazon has been a pain, with syncing failing due to various different reasons and for the past few weeks the Marketplace Connect page in Shopify Admin has been either super-slow (30-60 seconds per page load) or not responding at all due to Codesto API responding slowly or with a FastCGI error codes I am still trying to connect to the rest of the Amazon marketplaces internationally, but due to the page loading and sync issues it has been a painful experience so far

The primary reason for apps like this were really to sync inventory with other platforms- which is great. I just wish they completely stayed away from title/description/images/media syncing until it had been market tested. This latter is so problematic on some platforms it's unusable because you can't disable this syncing with confidence. At times it over writes descriptions and titles on your other sales platforms at random leading to critical listing issues (particularly in Walmart). I spent an inordinate amount of time herding cats with constant corrections of a large catalogue. The time spent rebuilding was frankly too costly it would have been cheaper to subscribe to a proven alternative. The online support team were however incredibly responsive and helpful, but they aren't coders and can't fix these issues. If you have just a couple of listings and want a cheaper entry level, it will work fine. If you want reliable control of key listing attributes (Titles/Descriptions /Media), have a large catalogue, and want a seamless experience, then I would not recommend this app right now. Hopefully this software will get there soon, but it's not ready yet. I hope to come back and post a review if things are improved.

The app continued to push product to online marketplaces even after we archived Shopify listings and manually shut the links down. We had to cancel multiple orders because of it.
