You can't link a metafield if it has multiple values. Kind of useless for media listings where you have edition, features, genre, style, label all needing more than one entry. The condition defaults to 'Very Good' regardless of what you enter in the field meaning you can't sell something as 'New' or 'Like New'. It pulls through irrelevant fields, e.g. CD listings have a Cassette Grading. Orders include a 99p shipping charge despite the fact I only offer free shipping. Support are incredibly slow to respond, half answering questions so you have to keep chasing them. Not a good app.

The app itself works relatively well although we recently were logged out of our eBay Store (within Marketplace Connect app) and had to contact Support. When starting the Support query I had said "our eBay store has been 'disconnected' from Marketplace Connect"... Well apparently this terminology is wrong and the agent was more concerned about lecturing me on definitions and winning an argument about 'Disconnection' being different to 'Logged Out'... The agent went to the trouble of sending me screenshots of my own messages highlighting words like 'Disconnected' and remained argumentative and unconcerned about the problem till the end of the chat. My request was pretty simple, that we are notified when the sync between eBay and Marketplace Connect stops working... as a result of the link between Marketplace Connect and eBay not working, 17 orders over a 3 days period were not sync'd. In the end I closed the chat in frustration with the attitude of Support. The app itself is pretty good although if your eBay login token expires you will not be notified and as a result, the orders will not sync until you log back in - You will not be notified that the token expires, you will not be notified that the sync has stopped working... Can deal with that but the attitude of Support was really disappointing.

Be veeeeeeeeerrrrrry careful if using this app for the first time to connect to your existing Etsy store with active listings. We previously used a different provider to connect our Etsy shop and Shopify store, and had 300+ active listings in our shop. That provider charged $50+ per month, so we decided to try this app due to the lower cost. Added the app to our store, connected our Etsy shop, and allowed it to automatically match up our existing Etsy listings with the corresponding products in Shopify. Without us setting the app to make any changes to the existing listings, it automatically did the following to EVERY SINGLE listing in Etsy upon linking the Etsy listings and Shopify products: 1. Overwrote every existing Etsy product title with the Shopify product title 2. Cleared out every single Etsy product attribute and product tags for every listing 3. Reset the prices on every Etsy listing to match the prices in our Shopify store 4. Changed the Etsy category for every listing to 'Accessories' 5. Changed the units of measure for product size and weight from imperial units to metric Additionally, it began automatically creating Etsy listings for every Shopify product that didn't already have an Etsy listing linked via SKU. This resulted in about 60 unwanted Etsy listings being created (and 60 additional listing fee charges from Etsy). It also marked every new listing as a 'Featured' listing in our shop. Essentially, the app has completely DESTROYED our Etsy shop, which had over 3000 sales, an average 5 star rating, and many followers that consistently reordered from us. In addition to the costs from the unwanted listings, we are also losing hundreds, if not thousands in sales revenue, and incurring an extreme amount of labor as we have had to put our shop on vacation while we manually rebuild over 300 Etsy listings one by one. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS APP!

The transition from Amazon By Codisto was seamless. The integration with eBay and Etsy is excellent, although it can be quite complex. The eBay template is functional, but the workflow can be somewhat confusing. I received timely customer support from Noel, which was appreciated. I am currently in the process of testing all the features, but so far, order and listing matching are functioning well. There is a slight delay in order synchronization from eBay, but overall, this is the only all-in-one app I could find that offers so many features.

I had a few issues with my listings but the support team here was exceptional and helped me resolve it after talking and working for like a week straight. The app is pretty easy to use and user-friendly, there are just nuances on all the marketplaces themselves that may cause an issue or two - but rest assured the support team here will help resolve it!

Now that they have fixed the app it finally loads and is not just a blank page. The bulk edit buttons are doubled and when you click them they don't work. The sorting doesn't work and the filters aren't working. I connected our etsy account completely, it shows up in connected marketplaces, and then after a few hours just disappears. Support before replying please review ALL of the tickets I have put in and how only 1 has been resolved. This is insane how bad this app is. It just doesn't work.

This app does not work, and very very slow app. I tried to list on amazon and Walmart it will not list. Will not link eather errors errors and errors.

This app needs a mandatory tutorial video before using. I downloaded this thinking it was an actual Shopify app, not Codisto. It ruined my Etsy storefront completely. When I enabled the products in the app it created new listings on Esty and cost me SO MUCH MONEY. I currently haven't been able to log into this app to make changes for TWO DAYS. This is absolutely unacceptable.

We've used Codisto for awhile and it could be better. The old eBay app used to allow us to choose locations by item. They didn't have a location option until we addressed it with them and was a serious teeth-pulling episode. Eventually they came up with the means to pick ONE location which we figured out a way to manage (despite the fact that some items come from one location and some from another). Now with Walmart Marketplace ending and this app being official (?), the Walmart portion does not have a place to choose locations where the product is coming from. So we sold items out of a location that doesn't have shipping facilities. Why can 2 of them have location option and not Walmart? If this cannot be updated immediately, we'll have to find another app (which I would rather have have to do).

I recently tried out the Shopify app "Shopify Marketplace Connect" to facilitate the upload of my Shopify products to Amazon.in. Unfortunately, my experience with the app has been quite disappointing, primarily due to two key issues. I encountered significant challenges with the customer support provided by Shopify Marketplace Connect. Specifically, I needed GTIN approval as per the app's requirements. However, I already possessed brand and category approval under Toys & Games on Amazon. In this situation, Amazon offers a straightforward solution by allowing the creation of an ASIN through the "we don't have product id" option. This contrasts starkly with SMC's insistence on GTIN approval. As a user, I anticipated a more adaptable approach that aligns with Amazon's existing systems and approvals. The lack of flexibility in this regard greatly hindered my experience. Furthermore, the app exhibited issues related to image quality and capture. One of the app's intended purposes is to simplify the process of uploading Shopify products to Amazon.in. However, I found the app to be needlessly complex and difficult to use. I believe that its functionality should be more intuitive and user-friendly. Furthermore, I found it easier to utilize bulk upload via Excel to transfer products from Shopify to Amazon.in. This ease of use in the manual method contrasts sharply with the cumbersome nature of the app. Taking into consideration the poor customer support, limited flexibility, image quality concerns, and overall difficulty of use, I have decided to uninstall the "Shopify Marketplace Connect" app. For those seeking a seamless and efficient means of uploading their Shopify products to Amazon.in, this app proves to be time-consuming, inefficient, and, in my experience, a waste of money. I do not recommend its use, especially if your goal is to simplify the cross-platform product uploading process. Overall, my experience with "Shopify Marketplace Connect" has been far from satisfactory. I hope that future updates address these issues, making the app more user-centric and aligned with the needs and systems of online marketplaces like Amazon.in. Until then, I will be seeking alternative methods to achieve my product uploading goals.
Thank you for your feedback, Amazon provides no access via API for us to know that Brand registry/GTIN exemption has been granted for the categories/brands you have applied for. Without this requirement non qualified merchants would look for a way around potentially listing thousands of items against Amazon regulations. Our aim is to protect our merchants and their brands. After installing to address the removal walmart market place, the application took over my etsy store. After hours on support with shopify, marketplace was removed. Unfortunately, it has removed my ability to manage Etsy and all listings that have been in place for years. Even Etsy said they could not revert the changes. Save yourself time/money and just manage the platforms directly.
