Printify has been fantastic to work with. We manage dozens of stores that sell Printify products - their print quality, customer service, and personalized support have made print on demand a wonderful experience.
Thank you for the review! We're delighted to hear that you're enjoying our platform, and it's helping you grow your business. Quality is one of our main values - both for the products that we offer and for the service that we provide. Good luck on your POD journey!

I find the site easy to use and there is a wide range of products. I just have to edit the products in my website after they are published. I wish I could add my own photo mockups and that the formatting published correctly but that may be impossible.
Thank you for your feedback! Adding custom mockups is currently not an option in our app, but we'll surely pass this to the relevant team as a feature request. Wishing you all the success!

If you’re looking to do embroidery, stay away. Im not sure i can convey just how bad the experince has been. They are not able to tell you why something "fails" digitsiation. Just that it does. The poor communication and what feels like constantly shifting embroidery guidelines make it unusable. You can submit a simple design a simple as three large uppercase letters (e.g., “ABC”) and have it approved - then submit the exact same design with different letters (e.g., “DEF”) and have it fail without any useful explanation. We check each design and all meet the guidelines so when you get told "does not meet" it woud be somewhat helpful if they could say "what part" does not meet . All you're told is: “Digitization failed for the embroidery. Please update the design to meet the embroidery criteria.” We only submit designs that already meet the stated embroidery criteria, so when we ask, “Can you be more specific?” we either get no response, or the reply contradicts the embroidery guidelines. Example 1 – Polo Shirts: We ordered samples of three different polo shirts to compare shirt quality and embroidery. Immediately, there were issues. We were advised: • Front Print – Digitized Successfully • Right Sleeve – Digitized Successfully (this included multiple lines of text, complex script, and an image of an aircraft) • Left Sleeve – Digitization Failed The left sleeve simply had a 1” x 2” rectangle. We were told it was “too complex.” Yes, apparently a rectangle is too complex. When we pointed out that the other sleeve included an aircraft shape and complex script (clearly more detailed), we were then told the sleeve was “unsuitable for filled designs.” We referred them to their own embroidery guidelines, which say nothing about filled designs being unsuitable. In fact, it specifically mentions that small gaps will be filled, and advises to “keep your design simple.” You know, like a rectangle? I don’t think a shape gets any simpler. Nearly a week later, we still have no clarity on why it failed. As far as we can tell, it meets all the criteria. Thankfully this was only a sample - imagine a customer dealing with this. (Which, when you think about it, we are too.) Example 2 – Embroidered Caps: • Cap 1 – Featured 3 capital letters – approved, no issues. • Cap 2 – Same design, different letters – rejected. Order cancelled. We were told: “Digitization failed for the embroidery. Reason for rejection: Small Shape/Text.” We asked, “Can you be more specific - which shape or text is the issue?” Their reply: “We are currently in touch with the team responsible for the embroidery process and will keep you informed with any updates.” We referred them to the Cap 1 order, which used the exact same layout and was approved. The next day, we were told: “Your order had to be cancelled and refunded to allow for production to continue.” What the...? We still have no idea why it failed - awaiting response. I was hoping Printify embroidery would be a good alternative to Printful. While Printify is slightly more expensive, it doesn’t charge a digitization fee like Printful does. But clearly, that comes at a huge cost in frustration and reliability. Their other products and support are great (5 stars), but the appalling experience we are having and the time wasted with embroidery is beyond words.
Thank you for your fantastic feedback and we are happy to hear that your issues are all sorted out. Wishing you all the best!

Technical help and customer service help are the best part of this app. As for the operations and features they could use a better rerouting-out of stock process and the mockups for shirts could be a better selection. Overall I love this app and the actual ease of using it.
Thank you for the positive feedback! Your suggestions are extremely valuable and are always taken into account when it comes to improving your experience with Printify. Hopefully, these features can be implemented in the near future. We are wishing you massive success with your business!

So I have been paying the monthly $29 rate and I asked the question, how can I tell if my products are receiving (the up to 20%) discount? Currently they have no answer. Makes you wonder... From chat "I'm sorry to hear that! And yes, we'll definitely get back to you. Unfortunately, we don't have a list of the regular vs premium prices, but I agree that it would be very useful and we hope to have this available sometime in the future "
We're truly sorry about the experience you've had! At the moment, before subscribing to the Premium plan, you can see both the regular and the discounted prices. We agree that it would be a good improvement to show both prices for our Premium plan subscribers as well, and our development team is already working on implementing this. Thank you for your feedback, we highly appreciate it. Please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team in case you have any questions or concerns.

I was so excited about Printify. My large format printer is down and in the meantime, being able to outsource and ship my custom designs seemed like such a time saver - and pretty affordable, too. But sadly, sometimes you get what you pay for and that was my experience. The first few custom posters printed fine. Shipping was a little slower than I had hoped but overall everybody seemed satisfied. I requested a cancellation once or twice because the printing time was so slow (which in and of itself was a little stressful.) Side note: it's difficult to upgrade shipping to express with some vendors of Printify. Then came the "True Red" debacle and that's when I realized that my customer service goals and Printify's customer service goals were not aligned. Here's the story: I created 5 different custom designs for 5 different customers, all from the same team. All were created with the same red background - however the numbers were different because they were for different athletes on the team. Upon arrival, one client realized that the print background had come out a salmon color, not "true red". I immediately contacted Printify, shared the picture that my client shared (without the plastic covering on the edge) and their customer service was great - they said, oh that's unacceptable, we will have them reprint. Unfortunately, I was charged for the reprint! But that wasn't it. Obviously, the other prints came out the same way, and my clients were all a little ticked and nervous (understandably). Meanwhile, Printify pushed me off on different customer service people who said, well, we can't help you unless you get all of those clients to send us a picture of their posters. I said, well, lets see how the process goes with the original concern I submitted - the one that they reprinted and never refunded. There was crickets on that as they continued to hand me off to one another and it only took me a few days to realize I couldn't trust Printify support to solve the problem. I sent the file to my clients local Staples via email and the true red printed perfectly. And I paid for all of it because that's the type of customer service I provide. I was never able to speak to the printing vendor (Circle Graphics) specifically to figure out what the problem was. So - if you have anything red, or you need a print fast OR you have a high standard for yourself and your vendors when it comes to customer service, you may want to rethink Printify. Unless I have major lead time and zero red, I'm going to pay more with a service like Staples. I hope this helps you make the best decision for your business as well.
We're very sorry to hear about your experience! I'd like to assure you that we never charge our merchants if the issue has been on our or our Print Provider's side, the replacement that was issued was free of charge. At Printify we offer merchant support 24/7, therefore, to be able to answer any concerns quickly a change of agent can happen and we’re sorry to hear that this was an issue. Our team not only handles the merchant's inquiries, but also the communication with the Print Providers, so, unfortunately, it is not possible for merchants to contact the Print Provider directly. One of our managers has reached out to you regarding the order issues mentioned in your review. We truly hope that we'll be able to remedy the situation!

My experience with Printify can be summed up in one word: demoralizing. Initially, I was excited to work with Printify after seeing a lot of positive sentiment online. However, the first order I received was faulty with the design printed too high and uncentered. When I reached out to Printify's support team, they confirmed it was an error on the print providers end saying in their exact words "You have followed the guidelines for placing the design correctly. Placement is at the center, and the art file is inside the safe area (dotted lines)" and that "the order was faulty". They offered a free replacement. Unfortunately, my core issue was that I now had mistrust in the orders being fulfilled properly. Like any decent merchant, I can't launch my store until I can have full confidence that my customers will receive a high quality product. Since the first order was faulty, I needed tangible evidence that it was a one-off case and the subsequent orders would be fulfilled correctly. I asked for expedited shipping since the alternative was waiting another 10 - 30 days to receive a new sample (delaying my launch and revenue stream during that time) but they were adamant on me paying extra for expedited shipping. All for a product that should have been fulfilled correctly in the first place. I feel left in the dark with little confidence that the products will be designed properly. Best case scenario, I'd have to settle for a delayed launch thanks to a Printify error that they admitted to. By the way, this was with "one of their most popular print providers" — their words, not mine. In the meantime, I'm exploring working with Printiful since their shipping across North America is quicker and not print provider dependent. It requires a whole rehaul of my website which is the demoralizing part but I think it'll be worth the effort.
We are truly sorry to hear about your experience! In all cases where an order is fulfilled faulty by our print providers, we offer a free of charge replacement of the same order or a full refund. Usually, if the order had standard shipping, the replacement would have the same shipping method. However, it is possible to upgrade the shipping method depending on the situation and if the print provider offers such an option. One of our managers will be reaching out to you shortly regarding the mentioned issues. Hopefully, we'll be able to remedy the situation!

I have been using Printify for about 3 years now. Usually it is pretty good but when you have problems with the vendors printify is not supportive. I have had several coffee mugs and ceramic ornaments arrive broken due to poor packaging. I have had notebooks arrives water damaged because of poor packaging. Clothing will very poor quality printing. Hats with poor quality embroidery. And orders that take a month to get to the customer. When I go through the complaint process with in Shopify my request has almost always been turned down. They make the complaint process very difficult. They ask for a ridiculous amount of photos. And then they always come up with some reason to turn down my complaint. So I end up replacing my customers item out of my own pocket - almost every time. I would recommend people to try Printful or Printed Mint instead.
We are very sorry to hear about your experience! Thank you for your review and feedback! In all cases concerning packaging or frequent product quality issues, we inform our print providers so that we can improve the quality and service our merchants receive. To fully resolve any issue with the delivered product and improve on the fulfillment and delivery process, we do need photographic evidence of the received items. If the issue or the product is not clrealy visible, our print providers require additional photos to better understand the root problem. Once the photos are received, we provide a free of charge replacement or a full refund. One of our managers will be reaching out to you regarding this matter. We truly hope that we'll be able to help you solve this.

To put things in context, I just started using Printify a few weeks ago, but their customer service is excellent! When I have any questions, they are always answered by a real person in a matter of minutes! Also, their app is clean, well-organized and extremely user friendly.
Thank you for sharing your lovely feedback! We are thrilled to hear that you love our support team and the platform. We wish you all the best with your new store :)!

I am very dissapointed in Printify. They mailed my customer 500 t-shirts that were ALL damaged. I have not recieved a response from customer service and I have lost money on this transaction becuase of their faulty products. Very poor customer service and products.
We're very sorry to hear about your experience and lack of response to resolve this! Our merchant support team is working 24/7 and in such an unusual case where 500 items were affected, an additional investigation might be needed. In all cases where items are delivered damaged, if the relevant photo or video evidence that supports the case is provided, we offer a free of charge replacements or refunds depending on the case. As this was a clear manufacturing issue and with your help sufficient evidence was provided, a refund has been issued for you. We truly hope that this was just a one time case and that we can provide you with the 5-star experience all our merchants deserve!

After my last order ships I will be cancelling. I just opened my store and have had items lost in shipment, 2 customers waiting over a month for their products, 2 reprints on orders for quality. This affects the reputation of my startup and this is totally unacceptable fulfillment. I will be finding another POD distributer.
Hi, Thank you for your feedback! I am really sorry to hear that you had a bad experience related to shipping. One of our managers will be in touch with you soon to help you rectify this situation.

We like the products, but the app integration NEEDS to be improved. We added a bunch of products from a couple different print on demands providers, one of them being Printify. We made edits to the products directly on Shopify after they were added to our store. The other print on demand provider handled our orders exactly right and the integration with Shopify worked perfectly (correct items, shipping notifications to customers, etc). Printify, however, had everything messed up! I had to manually change every single order. Shipping notifications did not get sent to customers, and I now have a bunch of orders that think they haven't been fulfilled even though when I look at the order on Printify, it says delivered or in transit. This has been an absolute nightmare. My guess is the reason is that we're supposed to edit products within Printify before pushing them into Shopify, rather than editing after they've already been pushed into Shopify. But the other POD provider handled everything correctly, so why couldn't Printify?
I'm truly sorry to hear about your experience. One of our managers will be reaching out to you shortly regarding the mentioned concerns. We truly hope that we'll be able to remedy the situation!

I've been using Printify for about a year for a shop on Etsy. Creating a Shopify storefront is my next step. So far, the app appears to operate just like its web interface. I haven't done a lot with the app in Shopify yet because I am just getting started, but I don't anticipate any different issues beyond the typical POD issues. I appreciate that I'm not going to have to figure out how to use a different interface. And I like that I can chat with Printify support 24/7. That is a much-needed stress reliever in the POD industry. I saw that some have complained about shipping and about stock issues. I don't see that Printify can do anything about it as they are bringing in many different print providers and letting us choose the company we want to use. I like that. And I like being able to review those companies. Gives us a little more control over our business and we don't have to build our own API to have that. I don't even know if I am using that terminology correctly. Ha.
Thank you so much for your great feedback! We are super pleased to hear that you are enjoying our services. Good luck in opening another storefront and do not hesitate to contact our support in case you need any help with that. :)

Printify offers an easy to use platform and a range of print on demand companies to select from and I have enjoyed creating on the site... However...they cannot guarantee products will arrive to the customer which is a big problem. I have recently had one customer wait three months for a product and still yet to receive it. There were no shipping updates on the website that indicated any delivery issues and the only solution was to offer a resend still with no guarantees or alternatively a refund. Obviously my customer will not shop with me anymore. I understand COVID plays havoc with logistics, but other print on demand companies are navigating this situation better. I would suggest Printify focus on making sure their partner's supply chain is working from beginning to end before offering the service instead of passing blame to the delivery company.
We're sorry to hear about your experience! One of our managers will be reaching out to you regarding the mentioned concerns. We truly hope that we'll be able to remedy the situation!

I am an artist using this app to make merchandise printed with my art. It took me a while to understand how to use it, but I am pleased with how the samples look. There are a couple of things that would make the app better for me. 1. As a professional graphic artist, I rarely save my images as .png or .jpg files. I use .tif files, because they are less likely to degrade over time. PhotoShop doesn't ever offer .png or .jpg as forms for saving large files. Instead, the artist is obliged to make a COPY of the image and save it in one of these forms. 2. If possible, I would print my designs on clothing products on organic cotton, hemp, linen, silk or blends of these. Organically-produced fibers are what my clients prefer. However, organic cotton is only available from suppliers overseas. It's not even easy to find 100% cotton products on your site.
Thank you for the feedback - we're glad to hear you're enjoying our platform, and are happy with the ordered samples! :) We will make sure to note down your feedback for future improvements and product requests. If you have any additional feedback, do not hesitate to let our team know by reaching out to [email protected]. We wish you the best of luck with sales!

Printify is improving a lot, but their lack on software development and checking the quality of their suppliers.
Thank you for your updated feedback! We strive for excellence, and won't stop continuing to improve our service. Only with valuable feedback like yours, we can achieve it, therefore your thoughts and questions are welcomed any time!

I am so DONE with Printify. Every time I go to place an order the products are out of stock. My store offers t-shirts ONLY from them. Variants are constantly out of stock for every every single shirt and the order is denied until I have to go fix it manually... They can't plan to keep product in stock??? This is supposed to be print on demand so that I don't have to babysit EVERY SINGLE ORDER. Printify is awful. Support for Printify is EMBARASSINGLY bad. They don't understand issues very well because I believe they hired mostly non-native english speakers that are operating from cut and paste scripts. Instead of fixing issues they tell you to recreate the product all over again using one of the many different confusing print providers that will offer different brand t-shirts with different color options. If you want to offer a consistent base of products in multiple colorways - you are just screwed, but that won't stop them from trying to convince you that their "order routing" feature works. It does not... not even close. Also, the product image thumbnail generator for Printify adds a silly amount of empty space around t-shirt thumbnails making them look ridiculous. They haven't fixed this or offered a solution for years. I have had complaints from customers and even had test orders come with very poor quality due to insufficient ink applied to the shirt and the color matching is a total crapshoot. It depends on the print provider. Not all of Printify's print providers are consistent. Some will do a horrible job matching colors, and others will do a horrible job applying enough ink. Again, when they ask you to recreate a product... You have to redefine every attribute... pricing, titles, description, size chart, it will overwrite your thumbnail images... It is so tedious. Save yourself the hassle! The low prices at Printify are low FOR A REASON. Save yourself time and effort and just pick a different solution for your print on demand needs. Your time is valuable, and if you go with Printify you will spend hours and hours micromanaging your products because their site doesn't work in a sensible way. I have mentioned these problems to their support team over and over through the course of many years and I have never gotten help that resolved these issues. They don't actually care.
We're sorry to hear about your experience! One of our managers will be reaching out to you regarding the mentioned concerns. We truly hope that we'll be able to remedy the situation!
