This app was recommended to me by my website developer. It looked to have everything needed for what I wanted to do with product options. However, their support is awful. Worst support from an app that I have ever experienced. I attempted to contact them on more than one occasion to ask to figure out why my export file comes as a link to a browser instead of an Excel file. They have failed to respond or provide any solution. Now that we were prepared to update all of the products uniformly, which we started a month ago, I will now have to start over and look for another app that will provide me the solutions I am looking for. I am very disappointed and would not recommend this app to anyone.
Apologies for the inconvenience that happened to you. We export files in the .xlsx extension and the default file open software is set to the Web Outlook (browser) instead of the Excel software on your computer. It has nothing to do with our app. Customer satisfaction is our top priority so please give us a chance to prove and make you happy. Thank you! Unfortunately - incompatible with LOTS of built-in functions of shopify, like currency convertor. Have been back and forth with customer service for a long time already, they responded quickly but since the app is problematic in itself, this app is really not friendly for shopify users like us.

The options inside of the app were great however support was not good and product never worked. I payed for the premium installation and they installed the code inside of the head instead of the body which put a error on the front of my homepage. They did not respond to any of my support messages so I just went ahead and deleted the app.

This product should really be called Limited Products Options. I would definitely explore other app options before choosing this one.

Seeing how the team has been unresponsive for 2 DAYS with my urgent enquiry (problem which has caused customer complaints during 11.11 promo period), I have to write this here to warn anyone who needs to use this and needs discount code usage at checkout. Hulk product option app is creating a line item in draft order when a customer orders with an add-on option that requires TOP-up in money on TOP of original product price. For example in my case, it was name personalisation add-on function by Hulk Product Option app. This causes discount code field to not appear and cannot be applied at checkout page, though at cart page it seems ok. Customers have complained that discount code is not applied , creating frustrations at checkout. If Hulk team remains silent, then there is no choice but this app can’t be used for an ecommerce store that requires discount codes, which is actually a BASIC feature that is needed. We may have to seek alternatives. Initially the experience with them was great when I first on-boarded . They responded quickly and advised how to use to get it setup. Unfortunately in times of problems like this, they have gone silent

Worst experience ever. This was a disaster!!!! After their developer changed the code, Shopify options stopped working and our customers couldn't choose the size! It happened our weekends sale and we lost all of the sales opportunities and advertising fee. They responded back like 4 days later and telling me "our firm was closed due to the Diwali Festival and that's the reason why we wasn't able to get back to you on time. " WOW! I ended up hiring another developer to fix this issue due to this stupid free app. I talked to several experts and they all say this app caused the problem but Hulk app never admit it and keep saying it's because of the theme. Awful. This free app is NOT worthy.

Rubbish. The added costs don't even work, and the fields which are marked as required aren't really required. I tried myself and the extra prices for certain variants don't add on, and I can check out with out even filling in the required fields. Big no.

Customer support is good until you decide the app doesn't fit your needs and you want it removed then they don't respond to your emails and requests to have it removed. The uninstall option on the app doesn't remove the app and the instructions for how to uninstall brings up a 404 page. Contacting Shopify to see if they can get this app removed from my store!

This app is super buggy and SLOOOOOW. It would often not apply the upgraded price on checkout. Meaning customers would select an option that had a significant upgrade price, but wouldn't be charged for it. Even if it did work correctly, nobody should install this if they care about page speed and conversion rate. It would take upwards of 4-5 seconds to load the product options - AFTER the entire page had already loaded. So slow that many customers actually hit ATC before the options loaded and therefore checked out without selecting any options.

I first contacted Hulk about the issues I was having with their app on August 14, 2019 and my issue is still unresolved. I have received nothing but headaches from their customer service team. If I could I would give this app 0 stars. We are currently using a competitor app for our product options and were hoping to switch to Hulk to save on money. That being said, due to many of our products having multiple options and it being an integral part of our website, we were unwilling to completely uninstall the competitor app UNTIL we have tested the Hulk app on our website to MAKE SURE that it will work for us. At HULK's request, we removed the competitor app code from a copy of our live theme so that Hulk can install their code without conflict and we would be able to set up the Hulk options and test it without jeopardizing our live website and impacting our sales. Hulk went back on what they said and requested that we remove the competitor app from our store completely before installing their own code. As I have explained previously, and to the Hulk Customer Service team, this was not feasible for us until we were absolutely, 100% positive that the Hulk app would work for our website. It will take us approximately 15 - 20 hours to set up all the different product options from scratch for each product that requires product options. After posting my first 1 star review (which I have since removed on the basis that they resolve the issues I was having with their app), they agreed to install their Hulk Code on the theme that we removed the competitor app from. From that point it was more headaches. Their options were not displaying on certain products, and for the options that were appearing on products, the conditions were not displaying the options correctly. I told them 7 times, and several different people which Shopify theme I had the Hulk Code installed on and they always come back saying they need to know which theme I have the Hulk Code installed on. Hulk has done nothing but run me around in circles for 2 months now and done nothing to resolve the issues I was having with their app.

0 Stars wasnt an option so this gets 1. The app will display the correct up charges for my options but it will not charge them in the cart. This app has cost me a ton of time and money. I tried communicating this with the developers but I was just told that I needed to remove certain characters from my options. Some how / and ? are not compatible with this app, or so I was told. I removed all special characters and still have the same issue. This is a HUGE waste of time and money!

I used the free version to test it...what a mistake....didn't worked well they told me is your theme setup, the app doesn't work with dynamic checkout buttons, I asked to fixed and they did...the checkout doesn’t work anymore and is impossible for my clients to buy....thank you very much...great service Update! I asked for informations to unistall the app because in their website link is broken...no answer att all BE AWARE!!!

All your products have been installed and tested, and no free version will work. I don't know if the charged version will work, but it is impossible to choose your products.

Love this app! I use it to add options and different pricing to my items. The set up was easy and customer service always responds quick. Edited to add - it seem great at first. Now its glitching and I have multiple orders where the options aren't showing price differences. This is a major headache to have to email the customer afterwards and ask for more money. I have emailed customer support 3 times over this with no reply or help.

I tried out this app and the features were great but it caused two issues on our website. First, right after the app became active, it caused our photos not to be visible once you clicked on a item. Once that was fixed, customers couldn't add any items to their cart. They did look into this right away but it did not fix the issue. Now I have to wait for them to go back to our original code or go to an older version. I am bummed it is not going to work but it is just not worth losing sales.

That's one of the reasons why we ask clients to test in a non-live theme before making this life. We also offer Free Installation Support to all of our merchants. I used this app to help us to upload image swatches for our sunglasses. Integration was good but the support is lame. Their app was interfering with another app I need for my store and instead of offering to help they simply said "sorry our app doesn't work with other option apps." I pay them monthly and this is the help they gave me. Pretty sad if you ask me for an issue that could be easily fixed with a little help. I really wanted to use this app, but I think i'll have to switch to another option app since I can't launch my store now.
Hi there, I went through the ticket you discussed with our support team member Ivan with. Unfortunately Ivan is right. We are not compatible with an app that does exactly the same. :) It's not possible because that app, along with ours, would be making conflicting changes. We tried as always but this is not doable. AVOID THIS APP! I installed this app but was having problems getting it to work. I reached out to support who promptly got it to work. However, it interfered with another app which was critical to my business and as a result messed up a bunch of orders. I desperately tried to reach support for help. They sent one useless email to me and then ghosted me. Despite many messages, I could not get a response from support. Terrible service, terrible app. Avoid at all cost.
Hi there, We apologize for the issues you were facing. Code Conflicts can occur with apps and unfortunately, there’s not much we can do as other apps will require reworking as well. Our goal is to provide a solution to a big problem like Product Options in a way that is least intrusive to customers. With over 1000+ apps in the marketplace, some apps do become incompatible and we try our best to make all apps be compatible with ours. Our Support is currently free and we have tens of thousands of users that require assistance in some ways. That does impact our SLA policy at times but we manage and answer every single support request. We will continue to work with other app developers like Local Delivery to see if we can avoid any code conflicts and collaborate further to provide a great experience, as we already do to our tens of thousands of Product Options customers. The app is very buggy! Support is outsourced and very unhelpful - they kept demanding access to the Shopify owner account, even though I made them their own staff account (yes, that is right they don't have developer or partner access) and could see successful logins in the audit log. Makes me wonder if they had any malicious intent trying to get the owner account details. As such wouldn't recommend to proceed with them even though the app is free - who knows what they could do to your store.
We didn't realize when we asked for staff account access, that there could be serious repercussions. We have definitely become more cautious of our merchant's privacy and not only do we need Limited permissions to the store, we have also extended collaborator requests to many merchants. It's about what our merchants are comfortable with. Our app requires certain codes to be manually updated in order to complete installation, but we don't expect all our merchants to be experts and we are more than happy to take care of the installation and even set it up for free. We would be happy if you would hear out our manager that will be in touch in hopes of amending this.

Terrible app if you charge for extra options you can't offer discount codes store wide it will hide the discount box at checkout

I have no positive to things to say about this app, they asked for a review before I had used, it's day 3 & it's still not working and getting help is impossible If there was a minus -10 I would give it to them
