This App is currently broken. If your customers purchase using Internet explorer they will be able to add a bunch of options and not pay. Creating a customer service disaster.

We've got a pretty heavily customized site, and Bold Product Options works like a charm. We've got a ton of custom products, and setting most of them up was a straight forward process. We also have an AJAX cart, and the bold team was incredibly helpful when we ran into technical issues. All around, great app and great support. They could update the product video though, the current app looks different than the video.

The support for this app has been first class. We needed an App to provide our customers with a number of options but also give us the ability to add further options in the future. Whilst it worked with our theme we had a few teething problems but the team resolved them - kept me informed and were able to demonstrate their changes by showing me a short video clip. Love the fact they're so helpful!

To start out with we are using a suite of Bold apps. Customer Pricing, Product Options, Product Upsell, Loyalty Points, Product Discount and Bold Brain. All of the apps working together have allowed us to expand and manage multiple aspects of our business. Customer Pricing allows us to target specific customer groups for professional discount programs by industry. We use targeted marketing to promote registering for the special discount programs. The customers in these groups are tagged and see adjusted pricing as soon as they login to the store. The ease at which the discounting is handled has encouraged the users in these groups to purchasing more frequently. The majority of our catalog is customized or personalized and requires a degree of complexity in presenting the various offerings. Product Options allows us to manage those complex products. Product Upsell allows us to present complementary products when specific products are purchased, Product Discount allows us to create BOGOs, Sales and special promotions all designed to increase revenue. Loyalty Points allows us to build interest and repeat business. All of these apps working together have helped to increase activity in the store. The fact that they are all Bold apps makes them easy to manage and gives us access to the excellent Bold support team. Paul a team member was extremely helpful.

Cons: - Apps is glitchy - the UI is a complete pain to use - Support doesn't seem know their own app and offers solutions that don't actual fix the problem - Basic features don't work properly Pros: - support gets back quickly (not accurately but quickly) - No other app does what this one is spouse to do. Downloaded it several days ago, still can't get it to the simple options. It is currently holding up my entire projects launch. Will update if this actually gets resolved to work properly.

A very useful app with an excellent support team. I highly recommend this app to every single store owner. I wish we had found it sooner, it makes things so much easier because the extent of customization a customer can get on products is unbelievable. Thank you Alexa & everyone else in Bold Apps. I will be surely using more of your apps.

The options are excellent but it can be improved by allowing grouping features such as accordions to better organize the options. This improves usability and avoids cluttering the page especially when the number of options are large

Support after installing is incredibly awesome! We opened a ticket for an item which we couldn't fix, and Bold fixed it for us in absolutely lighting fast time. And guess what, they even improved my listing without even we bringing it up to them! 5 stars for going extra mile, Thank you Warren and Bold team

We would definitely recommended this app to anyone looking to make their website that much better! Bold has allowed us to have the additional options that we so needed for pricing and options. This app was exactly what we were looking for. Their integrated support and help makes every bit of the transition to their app well worth it! Please read my review before installing this application as this app has a critical bug that they can't fix. As a shop owner, you need to know this information. I loved this application. I've tried other apps and this is by far the best product option app, only if it worked. The critical issue that they have not able to fix for past 6 months is that once in awhile, their added options do not reflect on the total price. That means, a customer think they've paid for the added options, and it even show up in the receipt as if they've correctly added the options, yet it does not reflect on the total price. This maybe happens once in a hundred sales, but we made so many angry customers. When they receive the package, the option items are not included because they didn't pay for them, and it won't show up in admin, yet it shows up in their receipt!! There were many cases that we had to send those options for free to cease the upset customers. Some customers understood that it's a technical glitch yet, it does not leave any good impression on us. Bold customer support has been helpful, yet they just can't figure out why this is happening, or by the nature of this app, this deadly critical bug can not be fixed for good. I am writing this review so that other shop owners are warned before installing this. As I said, I would love to use this app again, if they can ever find out the way to fix this. I do feel that I deserve an apology from Bold CEO as I waited this app to be fixed for 6 months. I have had enough damage for using this app. Regards. Walter

Have been using this app for over a year now and it has been easy to setup and stable to use. Great for lots of products that need options for customer to select. Love it!

The Product Options app by Bold has really worked well for us using the default (Debut) theme. With the help of Alexa, we were able to tweak the settings it to get it to work with our UI (desktop and mobile) perfectly. She responded extremely quickly (ie within 5-10) mins to each of our requests. She even made suggestions that ultimately were implemented for a better UX experience.

We use more than one of your products but I'll just talk about product options. We use product options to allow customers to custom order a belt. They can choose to monogram it for a completely custom product. We launched this around father's day and saw a handful of sales from this the first day - contributing to a larger average cart and it paid for itself in the first day!

This is a fantastic app and it's been a wonderful add-on to our store in which I am currently working on. It has the additional variant features that are not available on the standard Shopify templates, making it an important add-on for any Shopify store. The support service is second to none. MC went over and above to help me and her prompt reply and professionalism truly impressed me. Definitely a 5-star service at an affordable price.
