We use this app to streamline our customer returns process. We tried a couple of other apps before this one but Aftership Returns Centre was far and away the best fit for our needs. Their customer support team is fantastic and replies to inquiries almost instantly!

First time I had a return, I discovered that I hadn't set things up quite right. Samad took the time to walk me through it and get the mailing label correct for the return in question and for future returns. Works smoothly now -- easy peasy for our customers!

I used Aftership to help set up automated emails for my returns and they were so helpful. Very good for amateurs on a computer!

Unfortunately I had to delete the app I wish it would have worked for me. Because the trial period allows you to block the associated collections you don't allow for returns. I own a subscription box business and these items are already discounted. I wish they had a lower plan for those of us that really don't have a lot of returns but need some essential tools to process other returns. Just not a good fit for our company. But the Support team is still excellent and I am certain others will love this app.

For starters, their chat-based help is excellent and quick to help at all hours of the day, 7 days a week. I used their chat a bunch to get setup and they're very good. We are pretty high volume PLUS account and order volumes are growing. We wanted to enable a self-service Returns Center and choose their Premium service because it is marketed as including auto-refunds (the key element we were looking for). Not until you sign up and go through implementation do you realize that you cannot have auto-refunds unless you also pay for their Order Tracking app. I was upset about their marketing tactics because Returns Center info page says nothing about needing Order Tracking. Due to our order volume, however, we were going to need an even pricier version of this app just to get the auto-refund feature. I spoke with one of their sales reps, explained the situation, he empathized and agreed and came back with a very helpful discount. We also selected Return Center PREMIUM because it offers self-service return label generation and printing. But, when that part was being configured, again we learned we needed another app (postmen) in order to print return labels using our own FedEx account. It gets 5 stars for functionality when you take into account all the apps you need to achieve your goals and their customer service via chat is top notch. However, I take away 1-star because their pricing and marketing of features is borderline bait-and-switch and not transparent.

AfterShip has really freed up a lot of time for our warehouse team no longer having to do so much work with returns and exchanges. On top of that we have a great idea of why certain items are getting returned so we can correct any problems.

Makes life alot easier when customers need to return goods and have a backend where to do it. Also benifits you in the long run as many customer opt in for store credit which means they will return.

We have been using this app for years. I believe it's the best one in the Shopify apps store. And the team is making this app better. The only suggestion is to inform merchants of your new updates and provide the option to set up and switch to the new version, instead of publishing the updates directly to the store.

I'm just starting to use Aftership and I like it so far. I love how it integrates with Shopify. My only criticism is that there does not appear to be a way to deduct the exact cost of the return labels from my customers. When customers are purchasing my product, the initial shipping service gives my customers options for shipping speeds and adds the shipping cost to their order. I wish there was a way for customers to be able to deduct the precise return label shipping cost from their refund or to be charged the exact cost of the return label for exchanges. The way it's setup now, I can charge a flat fee for all returns/exchanges, but it'll raise some customer's eyebrows when they see that it cost $3.71 to ship the product to them but will cost them $5 to return the product to me (for instance). Or for other customers, it'll cost them $5 to return the product but cost me $8 for the return label.
