Out of all the products in my store, Route protection is a best seller, and almost all of our customers choose to add insurance to their packages.

Essential for any E-commerce at any stage, while offering shipping security to customers in pandemic times and the volatility of working with multiple delivery carriers. Simple to set-up and get started, with speedy support. Greatly helps to provide a relief mechanism both to customers, and triaging pipeline for the core CS Team. Super reasonable pricing for value provided - a no brainer vs. calling and waiting hours to be attended by shipping carrier telephone support or filing claims that go no-where fast. If you want to have professional level of shipping issue support, get Route!

Route is a hassle, since we switched to another company after Route increased their prices none of our customers are able to file claims. All claims have to be done trough their customer service. They Policy is poorly written to the point that makes me believe it is on purpose so they can cover the orders that they want. Awful experience

We have been using this service for a couple of months now. Almost every customer selects it at check out. BUT route denies every claim. So disappointing. This was supposed to help customers feel more secure about packages being protected but this app is such a letdown. We will be going back to our old insurance app.

Many of our customers are first time buyers with our company due to the nature of what we sell. We were looking for a solution to meet to help support our customer's need to protect their purchase. Set up was quick and could not have been easier, we were up and running shortly after our call. The response from our customers has been great and this service gives our customers piece of mind when shopping online.

Because it works great. No hassles. Best shipping insurance. If you're not familiar with the process, it's fairly easy. I've never had a problem making a claim. To be honest, make the claim yourself on behalf of the customer. It's easier. Less hassle for your customer. I also add the insurance manually to orders that customers do not choose to add the insurance. I'll eat the cost knowing that I don't have to deal with the US Postal Service. It really does help you feel a little more secure when shipping expensive products.

I have been trying to install and get this app working on my store for last 1 week. Extremely difficult to get hold of customer support. Only have an email option. Email responses are slow.

I have used route shipping for over a year now and feel it is very beneficial for anyone running an e-commerce business. They have been easy to work with recommended various things that have helped, And overall it is a better experience for both the customer and the business owner.

The dashboard on this app has been almost useless for us. It will only show you 7 day views and nothing is able to be exported. We were expecting a much better UX and feature set based on having several calls with the Route team that unfortunately was not there. Now we're already removing the app (which all our customers have now seen) from our store just a month after launching. Was not worth the hassle it's created.

its impossible to get someone on the phone even if you are a merchant. Customers are not able to file claims! What is the point of this service?

The team at Route has been absolutely amazing from the very beginning and throughout each interaction!! Implementation was seamless and their support team has only improved over time thanks to their impressive SLA. The best part of all is that they actually listen to our feedback which we've seen used for current releases! We have a unique use case- however the Route team have been proactive and had open communication on how we can improve outcomes between both businesses as well as implementing those improvements. Installation was fast/easy and communication is quick even though we are in completely different time zones.

We removed it because it was difficult for our customers to get in contact with their customer service and then they only offer refunds up to 15 days after an order is delivered. In the end it caused us more issues in customer service than before. Their setup on the site was pretty good and they helped us customize it, so giving them 2 stars instead of 1.
