Sky Pilot ‑ Digital Downloads

We came to Shopify from elsewhere with a thousands of videos and digital assets in need of a new home. After kicking the tires on several apps, we found that SkyPilot met our needs. What's far more important is how the SkyPilot team worked hard to get us up and running. The ongoing support -- as demanding as we can be -- is a true constant. This is the type of company that sees their customers as a resource and not a burden. I recommend them w/o reservation.

SkyPilot has been fantastic! As a digital download business, we were worried about the transition of downloads from Woocommerce and WordPress to Shopify. Alessandro and the Sky Pilot team made the transition process smooth and solved many of our pain points while creating a new site. The Sky Pilot team has gone above and beyond to ensure my team understood their app's inner workings and how to use it better. I haven't been using Sky Pilot for very long but I did have to contact the service department for more explicit instructions on how to use the platform properly so that all my digital files would reach my customers without any hitch. The service that I received was very professional, very helpful yet very friendly. This is exactly what I'm looking for when contacting a service department for help. No system or program is completely perfect and without flaw, but despite some very unique bumps in the road that initially stumped Sky Pilot, I have been impressed by their determination to troubleshoot any issues we have encountered and resolve them. Their "round-the-clock" service has been much appreciated and utilized by our company.

I had the greatest experience with customer service (thanks Alessandro) who had to manually fix a very difficult and unusual DNS problem for me. He was willing to try everything until the problem was solved! I felt like I was being cared for as a customer and against all odds, had a fun chat with him as well. I'm very pleased with the app otherwise too! The email customization tools are exactly what I need, the storage size is good value for the money and it's very easy to add files to existing products in the shop. The app connected with my shop without any problems and I was able to start using it immediately. All in all, would highly recommend it for setting up Digital Products!

Great app and customer service! I was using another app for sending digital files beforehand but I switched to Sky Pilot because the interface and user experience is much better, and with my current needs I don't think any other app can beat the price (I'm on the starter plan). I'm giving 5 stars because I have had a really good experience with Sky Pilot - HOWEVER I would have liked to be able to sort my uploaded files into folders before attaching them to the products in my store. I sell digital sewing patterns for women, and for each design I have 1-2 style choices as well as 7 size categories (so up to 14 different categories of files for 1 product). So it's a bit of headache to match the right files with the right sub-product etc when you can't group the files in folders. BUT I have searched the marked for apps that can do this and it seems no app is offering this service anyway...

This app is very helpful. We sell digital products and it makes it possible for our customers to access their files via the Shopify store, eliminating the need for a duplicative CRM. The best part about this APP? The service team. They are FANTASTIC. They really helped us get this store up quickly. And their manner of dealing with clients were top rate. I only hope our customer service team can operate at their level one day.

I just started using Sky Pilot, and it's been smooth sailing. It worked right away. There's a free version, which is great for my company. Of course we'll consider upgrading as we grow. Loved the live chat and instant support and just the fact that it worked right away. Highly recommend.

I have been using SkyPilot for almost 3 years now and am still thrilled with how easy and effortless this service makes selling digital items. Any time I've had a question (no matter how small) I get a quick, professional response. I love being able to see which of my customers have downloaded their purchases and how many times. The Access Alert feature has helped me to put a stop to several spambots/pirates/thieves and also allowed me to work with a few of my customers to secure their own email accounts. All in all, a tremendously positive experience!
