Sky Pilot ‑ Digital Downloads

Ok, maybe I was wrong. I thought the SkyPilot and ChargeRabbit are the same companies, but I got now (so quick as never before) an answer about that, referring to my review. They will do the support for ChargeRabbit too, so Andrew told me. That does not change anything to us that we could not use it for our business plan for selling distributions. Sky Pilot may be can helpful for downloads, but there is the problem with the big movie storage we need, so the monthly costs go up. So my proposal to Sky Pilot is to connect other of the many paywall sellers that are available now. --------------- 1st review: We lost a couple of days to find out that it is not working for our business plan. We want to sell language learning movies as a subscription. That's it. You have no Shopify cart, it will be bypassed directly to ChargeRabbit and the registration too. Also, I get the feeling that SkyPilot and ChargeRabbit work together, there is the same support and it is the same delay. When you set up a question, it takes minimum 1 day. So we lost a lot of days, waiting for answers - most of them are not found in any description. Why they have parted SkyPilot and ChargeRabbit? Maybe to take 2 times money. SkyPilot solves a huge problem for creators of content that wish to protect their Intellectual Property in a simple, secure, safe an effective way. Every feature I needed to accomplish this is in there. I can limit access to streaming only (no downloads) which eliminates the need for DRM protection of downloaded files - without DRM I feel files are just to easy for people to copy. I get flagged if too many IP Addresses are used to access content - further discouraging sharing. And just as important, Andrew was extremely helpful when I had some trouble, and went over and above with immediate tech support.

This app has the best customer support service I've ever come across. Prompt, straight forward and intelligent. Andrew fixed all of my issues for me on the spot, incredible. It delivers the product to my customers exactly the way I want it and it saves me so much time and money. I HIGHLY recommend it.

I'm selling videos that are stored in Vimeo in a Shopify platform. Sky Pilot has been integrated very easily into my platform (with the help of my designer because I didn't understand exactly where to put the code - learner over here!). The products are getting to customers seamlessly in a very clean and professional output. Andrew has been super prompt with my multiple questions over the past month. My customers were not seeing that there was a download to accompany the video so Andrew just tweaked my account to where my pdf comes out as a button above my video! SUPER CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Highly recommend!

Sky Pilot allows my shop to deliver large files to customers, with seamless Shopify integration. Customer service is fantastic, and they have always been able to keep up with demand when sales increase. The app is intuitive to use, and very professional in both the backend interface and the customer side of things. Sky Pilot offers features that no other digital delivery app on Shopify can do. Very happy all around!

Outstanding customer service! Sometimes its hard to find excellent customer service AFTER you have purchased a product. But Andrew was very helpful and responsive anytime I needed help setting up or customizing SkyPilot with our theme. Your help and support is very much appreciated and I would definitely recommend this product. ***UPDATE: I had to write another review. Several months after having purchased the app, the customer service is still outstanding! Andrew is very responsive and always happy to help. And the Sky Pilot app is excellent. Its easy to use, easy to set up and it does exactly what it says. 5 Stars across the board.

I've tried a few digital file apps for our Shopify store now and Sky Pilot is definitely the best. Digital Download (Shopify's version) is just too basic and can be really cumbersome to work with. The other one we tried was SendOwl and it's also fairly limited when stacked against this app. We think Sky Pilot is definitely the best for our needs. The app is great and the customer service is quick and pain free.

I am so pleased with Sky Pilot! I am not tech savvy AT ALL and working with Shopify and Sky Pilot to download and get my digital product up and running was very smooth. I had a theme issue and Andrew took care of it! Great customer service and an easy and reliable app!

Sky Pilot has been one of those apps that is easy to take for granted - its always reliable, intuitive to use - I forget its not built right into Shopify. We've never had a problem delivering files. Recently, we skyrocketed our sales volume - and Sky Pilot is a tool that keeps everything running smoothly for us. As I could have expected from this wonderful app, there were 0 struggles or issues that arose from the higher volume. Then I got an email - straight from Andrew himself. I hadn't considered that more volume = wayyyyy more use. He took the time out of his life to contact me and let me know that there was a (much) more cost efficient plan for my usage. Who does that? Blown away - Andrew and his team have set the bar prettttty high for service. Other apps, are you listening? Thanks again for this great, reliable digital download deployer - we use it every day.

Andrew and the team at Sky Pilot are fantastic. This app integrates perfectly with our subscription services and setup was relatively seamless. Any questions I've had have been answered within minutes and they always offer solutions. If you have a subscription based service and need to get PDF's out to your clients in an easy manner, this is an excellent app.

Amazing App that was just what I was looking for! Great customer service, easy install and my customers from my previous digital download provider didn't lose their download links because Sky Pilot was able to import their purchase data and supply new links to their download right in their customer account. Very happy with this app!

Great App! It works seamlessly and brings customers back to my store to get their files. I am using it for paid pdf downloads for a weekly newsletter. Support is always fast and right on. I can time when the pdf's will "disappear", revoke access as needed to customers, and get alerts if someone is sharing a bit too much. Very happy with Sky Pilot. Thanks! UPDATE 4/19 Now using Sky Pilot to sell ebooks, videos, images etc. Love this app!

I'm very happy with Sky Pilot! I sell a lot of e-courses and digital goods and I've found SP to be the best way to do this on a budget. Plus, it keeps my whole operation under one shopify roof. Of course, you need a sub with vimeo too, but they go together hand and hand if doing e-courses. I'm paying roughly $30 a month (sky pilot & vimeo) to have incredible integration into my shopify store......convenience for me and my customer/students! My students log in and get their video courses no problem! 2 thumbs up!
