I’m about to launch my Smile rewards and referrals program in a couple weeks and I’m pretty psyched. Setup has been easy and the team at Smile that I’ve been in contact with (Fiona, Maggie, and Tyler) have been super helpful in helping me customize certain aspects to my needs. It feels like every feature you’d need to have is already built in or there’s an easy workaround to get it the way you’d like. Highly recommended thus far, and not expecting that to change at all once the program is fully operational. 5 stars!!

Good app, been using it for a couple of years now. Handles itself which is great and customers use it very often. Had some trouble and contacted their support, Maggie fixed the issue for us no problem. Didn't link us to some complicated documentation for us to follow, just went silent for a few minutes and came back saying it was all fixed. Highly recommend.
I love this app. It just brings so much more experience for our customers.
We have been using Smile.io for over a year now to manage our loyalty and referral program. Recently, we decided to integrate the platform with our store to a greater extent and I am especially surprised at how good and responsive the their customer service is. Love the app! Had a little trouble at the beginning with Reward Codes but after chatting with Maggie she cleared everything up and not only told me how to fix my problem but went ahead and fixed it for me!
We upgraded to the small business plan and now have a launcherless loyalty program which has minimised the amount of distracting elements on our website. With the help of Roel from support, we were able to integrate just how we wanted. I don't think there's another loyalty program that compares to Smile.
we are a small store (10-15000 visits per month, a few thousand customers). The launcher, without an intent page has murdered my conversion rate. The points don't show on my customer account page, so I cannot promote the service to customers, without losing them via the terrible UX and limited positioning of the launcher. My only alternative to provide proper is to pay 600 a month, which I'll get no return on and cannot afford to invest in with a customer list only in the 1000s. It feels like a honey trap / bait and switch tactic. Fundamental user experience requirements should absolutely be a prerequisite for a paid app. There's a lot of great functionality in there, but not one I'm willing to take a 40% conversion drop on new business, especially with Shopify itself being so limited in its design flexibility out of the box. I'm not willing to plough dev resources into solving problems that ae solvable out of the box. As a consequence, I've decided to accept any reputational damage from halting the programme while I try to find a suitable alternative. Take a look by contrast at the flexibility of positioning of surveys and polls etc on a solution like Hotjar - it manages to be both visible and unobtrusive. (it's a different type of ap, but the launcher is near perfect and still carries their branding on the lower plans, which is fine) It's a shame, because otherwise I was 100% bought in to your journey and the functions you offer, but the pricing plan vs feature set doesn't feel like advantages when moving through the plans, it feels like blackmail, leveraged against my own promotion to customers and desire to provide a good service offering to my customers. I wish I'd read more before I committed - the sales patter doesn't match the experience of using this properly. I'm sure it's fine if you're fishing around with a free plan and not on top of your user stats. I am on top of mine and unfortunately, an otherwise excellent app is destroyed by the simplest oversight in UX - classic case of a developer thinking of themselves without considering an end user.

Very impressed with this app. It's nice and easy to use and it's a great way to reward your customers. Honestly though, I'm more impressed with the service I've received from their customer service team. We've had a couple of issues over the past week and Maggie (AKA Genie :D) has worked her magic and gone well above and beyond what I needed help with, and has actually taught me a couple of things along the way. It's been greatly appreciated and always a pleasure speaking with someone so polite and knowledgeable, it just makes the whole experience that much better. Thank you again, Maggie, and Smile.io. Very happy user here!
Loving this app so far. I am obsessed with your live to chat option! I was stumped figuring something out and your specialist, Maggie, was an absolute DOLL. She was super personable and prompt with answering my questions. Companies like this with the best customer service makes business life soooo much easier.

What I love about this is the level of support they give. This multi reward app is one of those finds that will become a part of your store/brand that you never want to get rid of. Maggie is awesome!
