The app and the service is probably the best in the market. It works really well and the setup is very easy. We are using it from years and we've never had a several issue. But the best is the technical support: very skilled, and they are so fast to respond to every request! This is a very crucial aspect to consider when implementing a business critical solution like this one. We're really satisfied with Recharge!

Impossible to cancel, unauthorized charges reoccur every month, any attempt to sto failed, had to escalate with Shopify, hopefully that would work

The communication and customer service experience were extremely disappointing. I received only one email notifying me of a steep price increase to $99 per month. When I contacted Customer Service about being overcharged, they showed little concern for my dissatisfaction, even though the initial notification email had ended up in my spam folder. It's surprising that Recharge wasn't more proactive in communicating such significant pricing changes. A banner pop-up or multiple communication channels would have been more effective in ensuring customers were aware of the new pricing. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Our Dev team says: "We have been using Recharge for offering subscriptions on our coffee store for some time now, and I must say we're impressed by the quality of service they provide. The main thing which makes them stand out is their top-notch customer support. I have been personally helped by Nikola C. from the technical support team on several technical issues and I must say he's a pro at what he does! We have recently migrated our store from "Recharge checkout on Shopify" to "Shopify Checkout Integration" and the entire migration and post-migration experience has been smooth because of Nikola and other members of the support team. Not only this, but I have contacted them via live chat and several other email tickets and I have always received blazing-fast responses with practical solutions. The support team is very active when it comes to fulfilling customer's needs, and we are having a great experience over all."

Massively increased their prices! I am only a small coffee roastery. Went from paying about $2 a month based on how much I was selling to over $100 per month! I was given some warning to be fair, but it takes a while to update your web site. Plenty of other subscription services that don't charge the little guys anywhere near this (most are free to a point), so will be switching over ASAP!
