Absolute garbage. Where to even begin? Save yourself a LOT of headaches and don't come anywhere near this horrendous app. Horrendous functionality, horrendous support, horrendous documentation. Absolute joke but not funny.

Customer support is does not meet our expectations... they will only do email... will not get on the phone with you, dance around the issue and rarely fix it. I end up having to add other apps or find work arounds to make my site work properly with the app

Truly an awful system that we have nothing but issues with. There is always some limitation or issue to face.. nothing is straight-forward or easy. Customers can never update the subscriptions themselves and often email me stating they have tried so many times to change something and they give up. I will be changing to another system as soon as I possibly can!

This app had legal terms that covered the checkout page. I never was able to find a way to remove this. The legal terms covered other text. I was only able to move the widget around on the page but never remove the legal terms. This made the app unusable. If the app covers your websites text and makes reading about your product impossible why use this app?

This is the absolute worst app I've ever tried, in 15+ years of operating multiple e-commerce stores. The interface is terrible, clunky and horribly unintuitive. Cancelling took 30+ minutes to figure out including having to reach out to a support rep. The rep was helpful. But then cancellation didn't work. Tried cancelling again MULTIPLE TIMES, to no avail. Now the worst part is now the coding is stuck on my product pages, making it impossible for people to purchase. WORST APP OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!! If I could rate negative stars, I would.

Avoid! The app is really buggy, doesn't install correctly out of the box, lots of missing information and missing product data. We took the decision to try a different solution as the support is so poor and interested.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. TAKES OVER 24 HOURS TO RESPOND AND THAN WITH CANNED AND SCRIPTED RESPONSE...NEVER DIRECTLY ANSWERING QUESTIONS....THEY KEEP SAYING "HAVE CUSTOMER RETRY OR CHANGE CREDIT CARD" , THEY KEPT BLAMING SHOPIFY....THIS APP'S INABILITY TO PROCESS SUBSCRIPTIONS IS MIND BLOGGING. LITERALLY THE ONE THING THEY WERE CREATED TO DO, FORGET ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES THEY CLAIM.... EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. A ZERO STAR IF I COULD.....I AM LOOKING INTO MIGRATING TO SOMETHING ELSE

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. LOSING SUBSCRIBERS DAILY OVER THIS APP'S INABILITY TO PROCESS SUBSCRIPTIONS. LITERALLY THE ONE THING THEY WERE CREATED TO DO. I've been having issues since over two months, and all their support team says is that they are looking into the issue, they take days to answer emails and never provide a solution. Impossible to communicate over the phone and they don't answer when trying to escalate the issue. EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED

We use Recharge to help manage our subscription system, it works well and we've had some kind folks from their team help us make changes to fit our business's unique needs. That being said, their customer support is quite simply the worst that I have ever seen. If you don't like waiting 70 (seventy) days for assistance with a question, you should look elsewhere. Couple this with the fact that they try to charge customers an additional $300+ per month for an "Enhanced Support" package in order to get more timely support, and the benefits of using Recharge over a competitor are slim to none, especially if you're a small business. Would not recommend unless the company seriously overhauls its customer service.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE I recently migrated over to a new website and needed to migrate my Recharge customers over to the new website, and after nearly 2 weeks I am STILL WAITING for my customers to be migrated over by Recharge and now at risk of loosing business as a result. AVOID THIS APP

You cannot rely on this app to work consistently. Products on subscription will stop adding to the cart out of nowhere with no warning. You won't know unless a customer lets you know or you happen to notice yourself. Customer service has deflected every single issue I've asked about without helping. Seeking another solution after losing countless sales.

The entire app stopped working completely without any warning and every single one of my customer orders is not being processed correctly. This app has negatively impacted my revenue and customer service and the level of support is not helpful. I have been trying to troubleshoot this issue for weeks on end and it's still not resolved. Recharge will not even tell me what went wrong to cause this in the first place. I DO NOT recommend this app.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't get fooled by their positive reviews. This app is an evil. Their customer service is awful. A pure waste of time and money. Read NEGATIVE REVIEWS first.

Terrible app. Despite setting up the tax settings to the staff's specification, for 30% of our customers, the app double charges taxes. Understandably, we get a ton of angry customers and chargebacks because of this. I opened a ticket 8 days ago for this. Since then, my ticket has bounced around to multiple agents, and I've received useless suggestions like 'disable the taxes' or 'regenerate the charges'. We've been using recharge for 4 of our stores, and we're now going through the painful process of migrating to someone else. So far, skio seems like a good option. If you're a medium sized company looking for a subscription app, I suggest you stay away from these guys and pay for a proper solution - even outside of this tax issue, the app is full of glitches.

Worst customer support and it's like their job is to make people want to stop using ReCharge. Jon B said he would help and that he cared about my issue but he did nothing to resolve it. It's been 3 days. I'm paying thousands of dollars a year to ReCharge and no one from their team is helping. Customers update their credit cards but ReCharge doesn't update it on their end to use the new credit card. Disappointed. I hope you tell Jon B to improve his customer service

First of, the app is a great app, the service that the app provides is awesome. However, you have to pay 300$/ month if you want to customize the theme. If you want to change colors, that is easy in their CSS builder. But it stops there... When reading out there live chat is really lousy with slow answers, answers that clearly states that the one on the other side of the chat haven't read what you just wrote. And this persons tip for me was to reach out to one of there partners... Costs from 1000$... Also, translation is a beast. Manually translation over 100 sentences.

Would not recommend 1/5 I decided on Recharge based on good reviews, UI and their other reputable clients. However, after using this app for about 3 months to manage my monthly candle subscriptions, a number of my customer subscriptions received charge errors and I was not notified about the errors and neither were my customers. After a month it was brought to my attention that my customers had not received their orders and had not been charged for the previous month. I contacted the app to help me troubleshoot this issue, in which I was told the error was unknown and I would have to manually charge the orders, which I did and the previous month's orders went through. However, the app wasn't able to provide a solution for the current month's charges and informed me that my customers would skip the current month's subscription. On top of that, the following month the same errors occurred again. I can't put my business' reputation on the line for this app's poor development and functions. I would not recommend.

Warning, installing this app will immediately inject code snippets into your theme that will display content on the front end. Even after removing the snippets, we encountered a compatibility with paypal express checkout that generated a liquid error: internal and took a while to find and solve. Proceed with caution.

The app is NOT made for stores outside of the US. Main issues (1) It lacks A LOT of localization (translation into other languages) as it is very US centered. Even though they have a Translations tab there are many fields that are not translatable not even if you hire a dev. Only option is to pay $300 and become Pro. Support team does not take notes of changes needed either, so it´s a dead end. (2) Support team knowledge is very shallow they basically replicate what´s already written in the wikis or tell you the issue is with your theme or shopify. I am facing an issue with an email notification that shows incorrect information even though the code is correct, and no response from their senior support team in weeks. It took me 4 emails to convince them that it wasn't working (shouldn't it be the opposite?, that is, they help me instead of doubt me?)
