Theme Updater & Backups | OOTS

We’re using the Combine theme. We’ve made a lot of code improvements. We needed to update our theme to version 4.0.0 without losing any code blocks. We completed the update using Theme Updater. There were just a few minor issues left to sort out. Myles from the support team helped us with this very quickly. We were very pleased with both the application and the support team.

Usually, we've had no issues in updating the Turbo theme. But this version from 9.6 to 10 -- went haywire. AI allegedly handled all but one of the customizations in upgrading the theme, but our opening slide show was completely screwed up. For now, we've left v9.6 in place. It's frustrating having had / worked with this theme for years without needing to hire an expert -- apparently, now we will have to? Disappointing.

GREAT Support, the app didn't install an older clean version of a theme for me (to compare customizations), but support did install one for me.

Theme Updater has made updating on Shopify so much easier. Please remember to be very careful adding 3rd party apps to your store so the update can go smoothly and you spend your time working on marketing. Be sure to review Out of the Sandbox premium theme sections so your system uses known compatible apps.

Very helpful, most times the AI can transfer any customization. Last time it didn't work, but some weeks later another try got everything transferred to the new theme.

I have a lot of custom items on my website that make theme updates tricky. I used to always have to put back in all the custom items which was very difficult and time consuming. This app makes updating themes a piece of cake. Each update we have done using this has worked smoothly.

I have been supported by Euwi who has been incredibly helpful. I used the app which was good but it did not transfer all of my custom coding! However, I reached out to customer support and received great support from Euwi! Having a human available to actually address your technical issues is always preferable and very much appreciate the help he provided

I was able to easily update my customized Out-of-the-Sandbox theme, which had made me nervous after spending so much money to customize the theme. There was some odd coding left behind on the screen after the AI update, but I reached out to the team, who was able to quickly remove the random code for me. I'm quite pleased with the app and the service.

I uninstalled, because I don't have enough customers to justify paying this price a month. You might want to do a tier for this pricing on shopify stores that are not bring the customers in right away.

With all our code this would be super time consuming. This app is works perfect. A solid team behind it.
