Theme Updater & Backups literally saved my store. Orderly Emails deleted several important Shopify collections/categories in my store, and I only discovered it after the damage had already affected navigation and visibility. Thankfully, Vault backups allowed me to restore the deleted collections one by one. Without this app, I would have faced many hours of manual rebuilding. This experience alone made the app worth it.

I have a lot of custom items on my website that make theme updates tricky. I used to always have to put back in all the custom items which was very difficult and time consuming. This app makes updating themes a piece of cake. Each update we have done using this has worked smoothly.

I have been supported by Euwi who has been incredibly helpful. I used the app which was good but it did not transfer all of my custom coding! However, I reached out to customer support and received great support from Euwi! Having a human available to actually address your technical issues is always preferable and very much appreciate the help he provided

I was able to easily update my customized Out-of-the-Sandbox theme, which had made me nervous after spending so much money to customize the theme. There was some odd coding left behind on the screen after the AI update, but I reached out to the team, who was able to quickly remove the random code for me. I'm quite pleased with the app and the service.

I uninstalled, because I don't have enough customers to justify paying this price a month. You might want to do a tier for this pricing on shopify stores that are not bring the customers in right away.

Total disaster. I even purchased the "Theme Updater & Backups" app to update to the latest version (v9.5.1), but the core issues remain. The most game-breaking bug is the inventory logic. When a customer tries to add more items than what's in stock, the entire site simply FREEZES instead of showing a proper message or limiting the quantity. This is a basic e-commerce function that even a free theme handles easily. I tested this on a fresh, unedited template, and it still fails. This proves it's not a customization error; it's a fundamental flaw in the theme's core code. My homepage and collection pages are a mess, and I am losing sales because of these technical glitches. Do not waste your money on this theme if you need a professional, functional store.

Amazing company! They gave product support on Christmas Eve! I am blown away by how professional and responsive they are. I have been using their Turbo theme for many years and have just added this updater app but it is great just like their themes. Highly recommended!

This app works well and has been able to copy most of our customizations to the new theme after an update. However, we've found that not all customizations are able to be copied, so we still have to have a developer help with theme updates, in order to keep all our customizations.

trash app with minimal to no options. These sections should be standard if anything. Out of the Sandbox is pure outdated garbage

Shopify's move to Online Store 2.0 does add a few additional steps to the process in the initial update to 2.0, but the good news is that this is a 1-time update, and allows you to start fresh. This means you can do away with all the old code in your theme from old apps and customizations that can be slowing down your theme, and gives you the chance to move to Online Store 2.0 and take advantage of all the great features that have been introduced to your theme! We appreciate that this can be a complicated process, and that is why our support team is here to help. Third party customizations that are added to the theme's code are always tricky to navigate, and I am glad that we were able to provide with you the correct information to help you update to the new theme version! J’utilise Theme Updater & Backups depuis plusieurs mois et j’en suis très satisfait. La mise à jour du thème se fait en quelques clics sans perdre mes personnalisations, ce qui me fait gagner énormément de temps. Les sauvegardes automatiques sont un vrai plus pour travailler en toute sécurité. Le support est réactif et professionnel. Je recommande cette application à tous ceux qui utilisent un thème premium Shopify !
