Great app! The easiest translation app I have used this far. The app is using shared screen so you easily can see what you have been writing on your native language.

works now, Good save! makes localization a breeze, fantastically integrated. Auto-translate function is a beautiful feature, even for languages we speak fluently as it's easier to make the occasional correction than it is to write everything multiple times from scratch. 10/10 would autotranslate again

I would like to sincerely express my gratitude to Rich Brown for his invaluable assistance. Thanks to his help, I have gained a deeper understanding of the App and its customer service support. Dobré rozdělení obsahu, lze velmi snadno najít texte, který je nutné přeložit. Oceňuji možnost odlišných formátů pro jednotlivé jazykové verze a to včetně možnosti rozdílných fotografií/obrázků. Lehkou nevýhodou je nižší rychlost při načítání.

Nice App, does what it needs to do. Integrates nicely into the Shopify admin. One point that needs improvement: If I save my changes in a paginated list, it resets the list to the first page. Because of this, I have to do a lot of unnecessary extra clicks.

Without a doubt, one of the greatest apps for multi language platforms, allows easy and direct translation of all aspect of the website.

Update : The team is listening our feedbacks and is so helpful, thank you so much for that ! Some minor issues to reveal : 1) Cannot translate "Alt text" from Image in multilanguage. 2) Other apps don't have all fields connected with the translation app. 3) Have one metafield that I can't find in translation
Thanks for trying out the app. 1) Alt text is not yet translatable at a Shopify platform level so unfortunately Translate & Adapt cannot enable this, but it is being worked on. There is a workaround in the short term: upload an additional image for the translated language (Settings > Files) with the translated alt text. 2) This is possible. It follows the same logic as the default resource: if it has been edited on the default resource, e.g. on the product page, it is visible in the app. If it has not been edited, then it inherits from the title and description and is hidden. Limited to 2 languages, the upsell has hidden in the details, there are other apps that offer this for free

You can have up to 20 languages with Shopify, and use auto-translation with 2 of them with Translate & Adapt, without word limits. We aim to make this clear - it's here: https://apps.shopify.com/translate-and-adapt/ and shows when you first click auto-translate. Feedback welcome on how we can ensure no nasty surprises. There is not currently an upsell, though we are considering how to allow for more. Translate & Adapt can be used alongside other apps that use the Translations API, so you could get further auto-translations from an additional app.

A surprisingly good solution that is super easy to use. Happy that you took the leap and created a native solution for translations. One major issue is that you're not allowed to translate URLs - it would be a major improvement for SEO purposes. Hope to see that feature in 2023, after all for example Magento had it in 2013...

Tevreden. Snel en eenvoudig vertalen naar het Duits. Het maakt het werken met deze app makkelijk. Nog geen ervaring met andere talen

Update Now I can translate metafields too The app works fine but if you use Shopify metafield filters the app can't translate them. I hope it will be included as an option in the future.

This app is horrible in so many ways. No way to set default language without UNINSTALLING the language you translated??? what's that? lets say I set up 3 langauges, English (Default), Polish and Icelandic, translate everything. and then want to make Icelandic the Default one, that will DELETE my translation and I need to start over, but NO, that won't work because that language does not have the assets strings to be translated when default... I lost weeks of translation work due to this app and my store is a mess

Makes translations EASY! I love this app, it has made my life so much easier running a store in multiple languages. However, I find there are some odd limitations, e.g. the number of elements that can be translated under "Navigation"? Also, I would love to be able to filter products in the translate app itself (draft, active, archived).

I think the result of auto-translation is quite acceptable. But not having the option to select multiple or all products to translate at once is painful, especially when you have 100+ products to translate into more than 1 languages.. And also not sure what happens when a product description or any content is updated?

Lätt att använda och tämligen bra översättningar. En del facktermer måste man dock justera manuellt. Jag saknar bättre sätt att gruppera produkterna för snabbare överblick av produkterna, exempelvis att kunna sortera på de produkter som jag redan har översatt och de jag inte har översatt än eller kunna ta produkter i en kollektion i taget.
