Offering a bilingual site is a must if you live in Quebec. I only offered my website in english for a few years because translating everything seemed like a huge headache, until I heard about Weglot from a friend. Honestly so easy to use and couldn't do without.

This app can handle everything we need from it, Subdomain redirect, URL slugs, manual and automatic translation and the customer service is incredible.

Great customer service! I needed support to solve visualisation/position of the language switcher on the website of the shoe brand and I must say that the customer care exceeded all my expectations: customised solution (code), fast response (basically chatting in real time via email), clear instructions on implementation of the code, and outcome that I needed. Le staff et notamment Zoé a été très très réactive. Approche pédagogique, on vous explique comment faire et ça c'est excellent vraiment. C'est ça qui nous a convaincu, rapidité des réponses pour résoudre nos problèmes avec efficacité. Après, l'app a quand même des défauts qui mériteraient des améliorations pour que ce soit un incontournable : - le visual editor n'est pas fonctionnel selon le type de site (donc pour nous c'est pas la peine) - le glossary rules a une logique où il faut supprimer les traductions pour les rentrer dans un autre ordre afin que les traductions avec combinaisons de mots fonctionnent correctement. - le nombre de mots est trop restreint en fonction du tarif des offres Merci encore à Zoé pour son aide précieuse !

This app is amazing, it is the one you need for your website if you wanna go global, great team fast and accurate support, Nathanaël from the support team helped me fix some bugs and he is like magician! he understood the problem and within 5 minutes everything was just up and running, i totally recommend this app for everyone!!

We tried to make Weglot work for about 6 months but new problems kept coming up... The biggest issue - we simply could not get product translations to work properly and consistently on the cart page and checkout page. Backend got super messy, because even though automatic translation was turned off (it had to be because the translations were always way off), it kept generating automatic translations in the back end and it was very hard to stay on top of it. Trouble with translating the log in/create account/etc customer section, got the following error from Shopify - "Parameter Missing or Invalid: Required parameter missing or invalid: customer" and those sections basically didn't work in the translated version of our site. We could not translate our shipping methods. Customer support tried their best, but too many issues with this app in the end.

Guillaume from Weglot helped with lot of customizations. Out theme is very hard to customize and Thankfully I found weglot and Gui to help me in fixing all the issues.
