I recently started using the Weglot app and, honestly, while the technology itself is impressive, it was the human touch in their support that truly won me over. Mr. Jeremy from their team was an absolute gem. When I was struggling with styling the language switcher, he stepped in, guiding me patiently through each step. It's evident he knows the ins and outs of the system, but more than that, he took the time to truly understand my concerns and address them. It's rare to find such a combination of technical know-how and genuine customer care these days. Kudos to Weglot and especially to Mr. Jeremy for making my experience a memorable one!

Using this app makes everything so much easier! It saved soooo much time. Instead of manually adding the translation we just added Weglot. We'll use it for upcoming localizations, too! Support Kevin is super quick and is always finding the right solutions. Thanks a lot!

Automatic translations are so much better then shopifys native service and with subdirectory integration there are no SEO or UX downsides anymore. Also rule-based translating is such a charm. Amazing product & service.

About the CSS, Weglot tries to only replace the text into your translated version so our product shouldn't break any CSS on your translated version. Note that sometimes adjustments can be required depending on the way the theme has been developed and the way Weglot works. We are not able to find any conversation with our Support team about the specific behavior you're experiencing. In this case, be sure that our Support team is always glad to provide help to make the experience with our product as good as possible. We'll be really glad to try fixing the behavior you're experiencing. To do so, could you let us know when could we investigate further on your website? About the checkout, for your information, checkout pages won't be detected by Weglot as they belong to another domain. These pages are hosted by Shopify itself, translations are directly handled on its side, as translations are actually coming from the theme. That's why the language switcher isn't visible on the checkout pages. Weglot, by its side, allows displaying the checkout in the right language for the visitor, regarding the language used on the page before the checkout, thanks to a mechanism we manage. Weglot just allows the checkout to be displayed in the theme language related to the language used on the page before the checkout. It means that the translation isn't managed by Weglot, but Weglot just calls the theme in another language. That being said, the checkout should appear translated on the translated version and we'll be glad to also investigate further if you could let us a chance to improve your experience. Honestly the worst Shopify app I've ever used. It makes your store very slow and it has so many issues. The translations are very off, they don't offer check out translation so there is really even no point, very frustrating to use

About the performance => Note that the load time can be longer the first time Weglot translates the content. Indeed, Weglot translation mechanism is working like this: It scans the original content of your website (HTML file) After the scan, Weglot parses (read and cut) the elements between HTML tags. It automatically translates this original content to its translated equivalent. During the translation process, Weglot is also storing these contents in your Translation List available in your Weglot Dashboard On the second visit to the page, the time load should be way better. About the translation => We try to provide the best automatic translation possible. However, we know this is really hard to fit this translation to all our user's contexts, so that's why we provide you with different options to review those translations: - To Manually edit the automatic translations if you want to. We provide you with some useful tools in order to do that See > https://support.weglot.com/article/128-how-to-edit-my-translations - To add some specific translation rules in order to indicate if you want a (group of) word(s) to be never or always translated in a specific way. Great app, the setup is simple, and it translates everything automatically for you. When you want to go through the automatic translations, you can use a visual editor to make the changes directly in the store and not by clicking through text fields without context. The most important thing why I am using this app now instead of the others is because it translates everything that is changing straight away, especially incoming reviews. Great work, I really enjoy using it.

Been using this app for years, but we decided eventually to uninstall it. The app is extremely expensive in comparison with much more modern apps that offer 5 to 10 times more languages and words in much less price. Very limited in regards to deep machine translations. The support/company's management seems to be careless to respond, if they ever responded at all.

This is a great and easy to use app to enable multiple languages for the website. We have tried a few but this was the easiest to understand, great functionality and really great support staff who have replied and solved issues almost immediately. Thank you for your work!

Everything just works fine, excellent translations, and last but not least Kevin from customer service helped us in in two easy steps how to solve the problem. He created a step for step/click to click.. how to solve the problem video explanation about dynamics elements. Now we can go online in French, Italian, German & English. Very good app for easy translation! After contact with support I found it very easy to add translations for third party apps as well. Customer support replied fast with great suggestions!

je viens d installer il y a quelques jours , ca marche de feu !! l equipe Weglot est la a nous aider s il y a le moindre soucis avec des explications tres clair et nous suivent etapes par etapes jusqu a ce que le probleme est reglé !! une equipe tres reactives ! un grand merci a Karina ainsi que toute l equipe !! je recommande l application Weglot vivement !!!!

Amazing support! We still have to review the content, but from what we've seen, translation is great for the most part. Our only reco would be to have a plan between the 10k words 1 language and 50k 3 languages. We only need one language and have about 12k words, so we must pay for the bigger plan.... Thanks,

After 2 days spending, the support get back to me with the good resolution. Thanks for the support. However, I do recommend to make the process easier and make the answer to what customer wanted. I will remain 4 star for now. and can always update to 5 if I monitor everything is working.

Great app, very easy to setup and intuitive. I missed one part and couldn't figure it out (because I didn't read enough so my fault) but Kevin from support helped me clarify things. Great app and great customer service too!
