This app used to be great. I was using it for several years and very happy with it but recently they changed their pricing structure so that the most basic plan starts at $399 per month. This prices out all small and many medium sized businesses. Also when I had a tech problem, it took them OVER A YEAR to solve the problem, just in time for them to raise their prices beyond what is affordable for my business. Thanks to other reviews on this thread I just discovered Judge.me. It's an awesome app with all of the functionality of Yotpo and more for only $15 per month and their team responds immediately!

Yotpo has been great. Zero problems at all; we're going to upgrade our plan, as well, given that they seem to offer a lot of useful stuff.

It's a totally awesome app! We have been using Yotpo for a few years now and even moved our reviews from one platform to another. With Yotpo's support and configuration on the review from the different platforms we were able to get our old reviews on the new platform. We have the reviews setup to post to our Facebook page and the integration with Shopify is smooth. It integrates with the search engine to show your reviews also. We were able to created a coupon through Yotpo that encourages customers to write a review. You can change the days you want the request sent which helps due to some extended amount of time for some custom products. The support team is the best. They are there for your success and go over and above what most customer service support teams do. There are a lot of functions we have not used yet but I highly recommend Yotpo.

So far so good. The app was relatively easy to install. There was a huge jump in price from the basic to the premium so we didn't do it. Now, there isn't pricing listed for premium, you have to call them. Not smart. I liked the idea of premium because it included the option of posting reviews to facebook - now we can do this using KIT. So, Yotpo is great for the basic program, I recommend it highly. I don't see why you would want to opt for the unknown priced premium package.

We really enjoy working with Yotpo Reviews. It's been an easy process. We feel it really helps ad value to the items shown and the email reminders are helpful sales tools as well.

Yotpo is one of the oldest apps I've been using on my Shopify store and I cannot imagine my site without it. It sends out good-looking review requests, organizes all the reviews, and allows customers to ask questions. Highly recommended! Btw, James from the support team helps me to update review widgets to the new theme, was very polite, and done with it very fast and professionally, thanks a lot!

This app has been absolutely great. I am getting positive reviews WAY more consistently than I was before using the shopify reviews app. I really like that you can customize the time between the customers purchase and the email they get to request a review. Most items in my store are made to order, so this has been really helpful as customers typically have to wait 1-2 weeks for their orders to ship. Thank you!

Our company has been using Yotpo for quite some time now. We almost never provide reviews (which is odd really as we want every one of our clients to review our products using Yotpo!!). However, we are today after seeing lots of 1 Star ratings on Shopify. Our team does do not understand the 1 Star reviews on Shopify. Our experience with Yotpo has been among the best of any app vendor across all our platforms. We have needed Yotpo support maybe 5-6 times and each time the response was friendly and efficient. If I had one complaint (and seriously, it not really a big issue) is the constant positioning of features to upgrade too. For example, Comments etc. Heck, like us they have to try and drive upsellng and conversions just like any business so I respect it - even if they are a little heavy with the visuals. At least I know they keep developing new features. So in full disclosure - 67 designs is just a customer of Yotpo services through Shopify. We have zero relationship with anyone at Yotpo or their backers. We just use their review app and will do so until such times they ever drop away from the good customer care we've experienced to date.

App is limiting, and interface is complicated. Their support team is non-existent. Avoid at all costs, it'll take even more time when you have to switch to a different review app like me.

Just left them for Shopify's own Product Review product. Yotpo is fine if everything is working, but their support is shocking with a 7 day gap between each email on a support item. After 3mths of use, not a single review other than the 5 that were manually added on day 1, absolutely nothing from support even though I tried. I have given up. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Once you install the app, it pulls your orders and emails are sent out. This is a problem as Yotpo does not check for marketing options. This information would have been good to know before I installed the app to see how it would look on my site, and then uninstalled it when I realized its appearance would need to be adjusted to match my website design. In less than fifteen minutes, the damage was done and my entire customer database was sent emails by Yotpo. Customers are *still* receiving emails and I've emailed Yotpo telling them to immediately stop sending. No response. My request to cancel my account was received with a canned 'please let us know your feedback' reply. I would not recommend using this service until Yotpo: * check that only customers who are okay with marketing receive the email * ask the Shopify owner if it is okay to send emails to past customers, or at least revisit its workflow and make improvements

Terrible service! We used the app for our old site but since redesigning we have had issues implementing. After numerous emails asking for assistance we have received nothing back from them. We still receive the promotional emails though... Stick with Shopify Product Reviews - Effortless!

Mixed reviews about YOTPO, But be careful and read this before you install it in your system. When I started out with Yotpo I was very happy with the free app. Since I have been with them for 3 years. Over the last 3 years the free version is getting smaller and smaller. I have nearly 100 reviews on the system, so I wanted to keep with them on the site. Recently I spoke to the sales guys about using the services and upgrading, but this is the catch, if you're a customer that has been using this system for a while you I am not paying $5000 per year for the service. It now looks like we will lose our feedback which we have built up because of the pricing of yotpo. Not sure how they can justify this price, personally I think they live on another planet.
