Disappointed with the Rise.ai App for Shopify I recently tried using the Rise.ai app for Shopify to set up a loyalty program for my store. Unfortunately, my experience with this app left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. One of the most significant issues I encountered was the sudden disappearance of the loyalty program flow I had painstakingly defined. It took a considerable amount of time and effort to create this flow, and losing it without any explanation or way to recover it was incredibly frustrating. What made matters worse was the lack of any logs or recovery options within the app. When something goes wrong or data is lost, it's essential to have mechanisms in place to help users retrieve their work or at least understand what happened. Rise.ai fell short in this regard, leaving me feeling stranded and unsupported. At this point, I'm seriously considering exploring alternative loyalty apps for Shopify. As a business owner, I need reliable tools that can seamlessly integrate with my e-commerce platform and offer a consistent user experience. Unfortunately, Rise.ai did not meet these expectations. I urge the developers of Rise.ai to address these issues promptly. If they can provide solutions to improve the app's reliability and user-friendliness, it would benefit both current and potential users. However, if these issues persist, I may have no choice but to switch to a different loyalty app for Shopify. In conclusion, my experience with the Rise.ai app for Shopify has been less than satisfactory. I hope that my feedback will help the developers understand the areas that need improvement and work towards delivering a more reliable and user-friendly app in the future.

The app is not secure. Fraud was committed for more than a year using rise gift cards in our online store before we caught it. We found dozens of orders that used various names and shipping addresses that were paid solely with rise gift cards that were fraudulently created. Example: one "customer" had generated hundreds of $5 gift cards and put them toward 12 different orders over the course of a year. All gift cards were issued under different names and e-mail addresses, but all gift cards were put toward a single order. This happened over and over with other "customers." There seems to be a system since goods all shipped to different addresses. This has resulted in thousands of dollars in shipping and inventory lost. We contacted Rise, requested a refund for all 2022 and 2023, but we also feel this should be noted that this is even possible. Our team is floored. We had no issues to our knowledge 2019, 2020, or 2021. The problems we have found so far all started 2022.

That said, we encourage merchants to regularly review their store's activities and take advantage of the controls available within the platform and externally. While we continually assess our systems to identify opportunities for strengthening protections across the platform, our support team is happy to help optimize the relevant settings and provide guidance on how our tools function.

We had an issue with the billing and Hila reached out she was very helpful,also solving the issue on the very same day, we have tried many apps and this was by far the best as customer service is excellent, definitely going to continue using rise in the near future,it has everything weve wanted built into one.

We've uninstalled this app from our store and now see an outrageous charge for $1919.88 on our bill - What is going on?

Augst 2023 Update: This app is great when you're able to fully take advantage of it. I'm uninstalling it because our team is going in a different direction but I highly recommend this app because of the support team. It's amazing. Eddie and Itay have been amazing. Highly recommend it! ---- I was looking for a bulk gift card app that allows us to use gift cards as marketing. I've tried many different apps and actually downloaded this app twice. The UI is clean and smooth. I like the potential this App has, but unable to explore it during the trial. Most of the options are disabled until the trial period is over -which is fine -but it's misleading. It's not a trial if I can't use the features -and this is extremely frustrating because I am looking for a particular feature and do not want to purchase a $199+/mo subscription without being fully able to use the software. Like I said, I liked the UI, and actually was interested in the loyalty aspect of this program.

The app is very expensive for what it is. I've had the app installed for a few months now and have not received any increase in revenue or customer retention. In fact, the majority of customers choose not to sign up for a loyalty card and prefer to proceed straight to checkout. Plus, they advertise their RISE.AI logo in all of the automated emails to customers. It doesn't make sense to have another companies logo on your website for free if you are paying for their service.

A great user friendly app to get your loyalty program off the ground. There are a number of video tutorials available on their YouTube channel that I found very helpful when learning how to make our flows. Eddie on the support team was a rock star and was super helpful and attentive!

I spoke to various members of the support team over at Rise.ai to ask for assistance in setting up some minor customisations to the CTA on my gift card product page, as well as helping to display the Rewards widget only on specific pages (as it was obscuring some details on my cart pages). Eddie and the team were really helpful supplying the exact code snippets required to implement my requests, and even logging into my store via a collaborator request to manually make the edits himself behind the scene. I can't thank Eddie and the team enough for their help and highly recommend the app!
