its a proper messenger, you can contact with customers with no issues.. but if they the conversation for a while you lost them and they would received email for the rest you have to say

Very easy to use, and I get notified of all customer messages in one place. Link to social media channels easily.

Pros: great integration with shopify. Customer info at finger tips. Cons: It needs more features: Provide email support, so that we can use the same tool for chat and email support. Provide levels of instant responses, so that we can have more of them available in a categorized way, allow customers to easily upload attachments. Better options styling and layout options to help avoid overlapping with cart page buttons.

LOVE THIS! Already have a text-messaging service, but to be able to chat real time with customers is game changer. I also appreciate the message interface.

It is very helpful and easy to use. Hate getting solicitation messages, but it is great to communicate with customers.

I like shopify inbox, it's worked really well for my customer. However despite following all the steps I still can't make notifications work on Chrome. I have to rely on seeing these on my phone/email. Also would be nice to be able to choose exact position on the page, I think it interferes with my cookies pop up sometimes.
Hey, there! I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been able to get your desktop notifications working. In Chrome, desktop notifications for new Inbox messages should appear when your browser is open and you're logged in to your Shopify account. That said, in order to receive desktop notifications on the computer, you also need to click "Allow" when prompted by your browser in order to allow desktop notifications from Shopify Inbox. The browser prompt appears the first time you log into Shopify Inbox. If you missed or dismissed the pop-up prompt the first time, then you can access your Shopify Inbox desktop notification settings at any time by clicking your name on Shopify Inbox > Notifications. If you're still not receiving notifications after checking this, feel free to reach out to our Support team any time and we can continue troubleshooting with you: https://bit.ly/2AWw5VA. Regarding being able to move the Shopify Inbox chat box, I can definitely understand why this would be useful. I'll be sure to share that as a feature request with our developers for you. Shopify Inbox is such a great app because it gives me the ability to stay on top of my customers' FAQs, feedback, shipping statuses, and product information. I simply love this app!

Really useful app to answer customers questions, especially outside of office hours. Easy to use particularly with the app on mobiles.

PROS: Works, free, no major hiccups and customers do use it. CONS: lack of meaningful design customization (its just a giant bubble that cant be shrunk/tweaked or moved), cant select where emails go, cant disable on pages where it makes no sense, opaque/confusing language makes using the app more of a chore than it should be, and finally we're also getting spammed on it... Almost every other public-facing app we use has these kinds of options/customization tools. I kind of wish customers didnt use it so I could delete it and not deal with these annoyances.

I used the app to help with Instagram messages and being able to attach products directly to messages, it works great. The only thing I would like is for it to sync with Instagram so if I respond through Instagram the message is visible within Inbox. Apart from that it is doing what I want for sending messages. Haven’t tried any of the other features as yet but will do

It's good, it if had an option to like buzz on the bottom that would be cool or to notify when someone is on the website.
