Overall, I love being able to take chat messages. However, I wish we could choose who receives notifications (certain people in our shop are designated to run the chat, but everyone receives the emails).

I did some digging into your email situation here and you should be able to pick and choose who gets notifications from Inbox. You can invite staff members to Inbox from your Inbox at this page here: https://bit.ly/3milTev. If you have staff members who are not on this list that are receiving emails, double check their permissions in the 'Users and Permissions' section of your Shopify Admin. If they don't have app permissions for Inbox there, and are still receiving emails, then you will want them to click 'unsubscribe' on the bottom of the most recent Inbox email they've received. This will prevent them from receiving any future emails. Since I added the inbox app to my website I have been really impressed with how easy it is to respond to and manage customer enquiries. I would say 90% of enquiries through the inbox app convert to sales as its allows me to quickly respond to a potential customers query from my phone while Im away from my computer. Whats not to love and its free !!!

My only barrier is trying to chat instantly. I noted a message days after the fact. Don't want to frustrate customers a text alert would be great way to keep you updated. It would allow you to click and respond on the app.

Chatting instantly can be a challenge sometimes, especially when you're trying to make sure both you and customer are available. Thankfully, when using a mobile device, and even on desktop, you can enable push notifications so you can be alerted whenever a customer chats in via Inbox. App works great and exactly as expected. If there was a little more customization and an "I'm away" type feature that could be toggled on/off, it'd be perfect. With that said, for the price, it totally meets our needs!

It's great that you receive an email and you can directly chat with customers in the chat box and as the business owner, this is great for our customers. THe issue that I have an Operations / Cust Care team who run Freshdesk and I would like to copy these enquiries into their system. At the moment we are cut and pasting the Shopify Inbox calls into Freshdesk. Can this be improved? Apart from that I'm very happy with the front end and I'm just setting up my typical Q & A automation.

Ich finde das Tool bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten sehr gut! Allerdings antworten viele nach erfolgter Anfrage und Beantwortung nicht mehr. Woran das liegt ist mir bisher schleierhaft. Auch werden Gästeanfragen nur mit Kürzeln, die keine Rückschlüsse auf Personen zulassen angezeigt.

The order check function and auto-response are useful. But it has no idea what the customer is viewing so that's not good for sales. Wish could improve it.

Well made application however cannot be useful in a multi-account setting... Really unfortunate because if you manage several sites from your mobile you have to disconnect and reconnect, too long at the risk of losing the discussion.

I use this app to get messages from all customers, whether on Facebook, Instagram, or Shopify. I also get messages from new customers who visit my store. Notifications are usually sent to my email address; I also receive a desktop notification. It is awesome!

It does what it's designed to do. I wish there was a link to the page my customer is contacting me on. It just gives me the page title which can be hard to find sometimes and not very efficient for a fast response time. You have to always have the Inbox tab open to get desktop notifications for open conversations. Other than that, it works fine just had some design suggestions.

I'm happy to let you know that I've gone ahead and passed that request along to our Product Team for their considerationally. In regards to notifications, you can consider downloading the Shopify Ping web app to your store from your appropriate, official webstore and you should be able to receive notifications through that application, and not just through the open Inbox Tab of your browser. I wish it would take me automatically to the store I have it linked to without having to relog in for whatever reason, and let me use the enter button, so I can professionally write e-mails without it going one line. Other than that, I'm pleased, just wish there'd be a noise or something on the notifications so I can respond faster
