I had a really bad experience with the customer service of this marketplace connector. If you encounter an issue that's not easy to fix, you'll end up exchanging emails which is a very slow way of troubleshooting. The customer service team should call you and help you solve the problem over the phone. I've been waiting for over a week just to get a basic issue resolved because I have to wait for a response, then perform the task and send an email back to see if it worked. What should have been a 10-minute task is now taking me at least a full day. I was trying to list items on Amazon using this connector but still can't. So, I'm considering scrapping the idea of using this marketplace connector for Amazon listings altogether.

Okay this app literally does not do the single thing it is supposed to do, which is syncing your pricing and inventory counts to 3rd party marketplaces. I have spent hours on chats and videocalls with support and they have absolutely nothing for me. It's with the developer team which is laughable because I am asking for the most basic functionality of the app to work the way that all of their reps expect it to work. Just an utterly unusable product.

I originally gave this a 1 star rating..then changed it to 4 star.. my original rating was more accurate at the time as I use Etsy and it had some issues.. but after working with Tech Support they have been very proactive and implemented changes and I now feel very confident that this is a great product and I know that even if I come across an issue, it will be sorted respectfully and quickly. well done Marketplace Connect support and tech team!

UPDATE: 12/11/2023 - This app continues to get worse. At any given point, items will just stop syncing to ebay completely. Tile, pricing and inventory updates sometimes do not sync at all. As of now, we have had to reach out to customer support 6 or 7 days in a row for almost the same issues every time. Every time we reach out they say the same thing "we see the issue and it is fixed now". Then it works for a few hours, then stops working correctly again. I apparently have an open case that was escalated but there have been no updates. Yes, customer support chat is fast to reply, but when it doesn't result in the app being fixed, it hardly matters. We plant to compile our conversations and experience and submit a case to Shopify soon. We have lost money and a ton of time by using this app and we just want it to work. Again, I'll update this review if they ever get the app working correctly. For future users, note that this app is not ready for production if you have a large store with a lot of products. If you are seling a small amount, it should work for you but plan on doing a LOT of manual updates on your products and working with customer service nearly every day when syncing stops working. ORIGINAL REVIEW - I want to love this app, but it's painfully slow when using with ebay. I'll sometimes receive an order on ebay and it takes 40 minutes to an hour (or even more) before it syncs back to my Shopify store. If it's an item that is nearly sold out when this happens, the item sometimes sells out before the sync, causing it to be oversold. I've already had to cancel multiple ebay orders and refund customers due to this delay. Customer support blames ebay, ebay blames the Connect app. All I know is that if you chat with Connect support, they can manually force the sync and the orders magically show up. So if they can do that, then it's clearly something on this end, not on ebay's. There are also many listing fields that cannot be edited in mapping, such as Volume Pricing. Descriptions also do not float over on products, so I had to set a default one to post for all ebay listings. Long story short, this app COULD be great, but the slowness in syncing is causing me to look for alternatives. Or add a "manual sync" on the Orders page so we can force them to sync. Even as we speak, I have two orders on ebay that were pad for over an hour ago that still have not synced to shopify, one is now sold out, so I'll have to cancel and refund. So annoying! I'll update my review if they ever fix this.

New to shopify and ebay so it took me a minute to get used to it but the great thing is, every time i spoke with customer service they've been great, extremely helpful and patient. Each person i spoke with helped me resolve the challenges i was having. Great team. Especially Mark,

Most of the staff is knowledgeable and easy to comprehend. I had a major issue and it took several days to resolve. I had to reach out multiple times, but we came to a fix.

We use the APP for Amazon. Thought it can be glitchy sometimes, it still saves us tons of time for creating new listings and offers. The support team is extremely helpful. They always promptly respond to my tickets. They all should get a raise in salary!

After 3 or 4 years, maybe it's time for a review! I will start with concerns so that maybe they are addressed. Amazon was fine at first but gradually they removed many products due to image issues and those products I have rarely, if ever, been able to get them back online. I ended up deleting all of the remaining from Amazon at some stage trying something and have had none on Amazon for years. I have tried my darndest every year or so, but Codisto hasn't been able to help me but saying that I should be able to. Out of the miriad of usual errors I think the main one is that the products are already in the catalogue. Next issue is that I'm on a grandfathered plan at $99 per month but now I see that the price cap for the new plans is $99 and there is Etsy as well. I remember being told I'm not allowed to change for some reason. The linking of shopify collections to eBay store categories could be better explained. The main issue is I think it is only creation of the store category and not an actually link for the products. I think they still need to be added to the categories in the bulk editor. The things that take a long long time to occur, such as uploading to Amazon or deleting eBay categories are the ones that are frustrating because you are pretty much doing them one by one using experimentation and then 3 days later you've found out you have to try something else and wait again and it never gets done. Great points are that there is support 24/7 (almost always) and the eBay link is almost flawless. Other things like being able to have a different title and so on. I will be looking in 9 months time to see if the Etsy connection works in Etsy in Australia and if it works as good as the eBay connection. But I do want to get back onto Amazon and it's almost time to try again so please expect tough questioning until it's done with whoever is the most knowledgeable on it. Amazon has no idea so unless there is a specific thing I'm not going to ask them.

I have so many problems with this app I wouldn't know where to begin. If you are looking to link any amount of high volume to eBay I would not recommend this app. Put simply, it doesn't work. Constant upload issues, and recently products not being able to be uploaded to eBay at all are what made me decide to delete this app and try something new. I tried contacting support multiple times and I was essentially told that no one knew what the issue was and there's no way to fix it. Not a good solution for any business with more than 100 SKUs

Codisto used to be great. Since the upgrade to Shopify Marketplace we got several issues. One ticket/problem has not been solved for over 2 months right now although it is quite simple. The app ignores capital letters and word separation for custom entries. Unfortunately the support team does not have a solution for this. We really lost patience and trust.
