I have been very impressed with the customer and technical support during the migration to this platform. The team is fast and easy to communicate with, and the migration process went smoothly.

We had a shipping snafu and had to un-fulfill / cancel / re-fulfill a bunch of orders, and that made them ineligible for the sequence, because I forgot to hit "start" exactly on time. Oops. Jay at Okendo helped me understand what happened, and then did a quick and easy courtesy manual send to the few customers who missed the review request emails. Had a good interaction with the onboarding specialist too.

Migrating onto Okendo for Product Reviews was pretty much a breeze, with some very helpful assists from the Onboarding team (shoutout Karen)! It's also been great working with Okendo to put together a Product Reviews plan that works for our business, with features we need, when we need them. Love this flexibility!

We just launched our website and are very green when it comes to website development. We really needed reviews set up quickly, but had no idea what to do. The Okendo website was helpful. But we needed more assistance. Paulo was so very helpful and patient with all of our questions. He had great instructions and was great with our follow up questions as well. Very quickly we were set up and ready to go!

Okendo has been crucial in helping to grow our brand's reputation and better understand our customers. We've onboarded with Okendo in the last six months and have been super impressed by the ease of the platform and consistent support we get from their team--shoutout Laura Ann! Their quiz product has been a game changer for us and has helped us better understand our customer's needs and how we can better provide for them. We truly couldn’t speak more highly of Okendo. We currently use their reviews and loyalty programs, and have recently added quizzes, and the entire experience has been seamless. The setup and customisation process is incredibly easy, and the support from the Okendo team has been great. They're responsive, solution-focused, and always happy to jump on a call to help. We've used the Okendo Reviews since 2019. This review applies to their Reviews functionality as we have not used Loyalty or Referrals. Okendo Reviews, when it first came out, was a genuinely exciting and innovative app. It had more features than many of its competitors and much better pricing than the market leader. Up until a couple of years ago, I would have comfortably given Okendo 5 stars. This is no longer the case. They are increasingly focused on Loyalty and Referrals, and their Reviews side of the application has become somewhat outdated. It has received very few updates for a few years now, resulting in it becoming less full-featured than many of its competitors despite retaining the premium price point in the market. Specifically: - Its Review grouping feature is clunky, slow and poorly designed. It can't be automated by tag or metafield like other rival apps, and the syncing process can take over 24 hours, which is insane in 2025. For large stores with a lot of variants, this can become a major headache over time. - The internal search in the admin portal does not work. It only returns results alphabetically rather than by relevance. This means in a store with a lot of reviews, finding, moving, and tagging reviews is a painfully slow process. The fact that this has been left like this and never been updated/fixed is illustrative of their lack of attention to the Reviews side of their business. - Store reviews are very much treated as an afterthought and not particularly well executed compared to competing apps. They are clunky to manage within the portal, and Okendo's widgets do not display them particularly well. - AI Review summary. They have been late to market on this and have made it an additional paid feature, whereas most of their competitors have included it in the main offering. Considering the lack of updates in the last few years it's a pretty bad look for the first one to be late and a paid extra. I get no pleasure in writing this review, but I think it's important for other store owners to understand that Okendo reviews is not the go-to premium review app anymore and that things have moved on since a few years ago. If I were starting a new store, I certainly wouldn't have them at the top of the list of considerations. It works, but it's hardly the best, and it's starting to look tired and expensive for what it is.
