The last 3 months my cost has gone from $63 to $160 and now $266. The last month, they upgraded me to PRO without me asking anything so that I would pay $266 instead of $105. I never had the need for a PRO plan ! These are absolutely dishonest methods. They took advantage of me thinking I would not pay attention and stole my money. I asked for . a refund and they basically refused !

Very easy to sign up but difficult to cancel. No phone number and oftentimes you wait ridiculously long to have an online chat. I sent 1 email for $150. They were totally unwilling to help me out in any way.

When importing subscribers, customers and contacts from my business who have actually signed up on the website or bought products, omnisend automatically sets around half of them as "non-subscribed" - therefore half of my subscribers will never see any of the emails sent out. Not a very good system as there is no manual override or way for you to set them back to subscribed by yourself. However, after this happening I have been in contact with customer support, who was very quick, friendly and helpful - who has reinstated my subscribers. Still - this step should not really be necessary if the system did not have this strange issue. Be very aware of this flaw in the app and that you will have to contact customer service and at their discretion have them set your subscribers from non subscribed back to the correct subscribed status. Will be testing the app more to see if it fulfills our needs as an email marketing system after a rocky start to using it. UPDATE : After having even more problems loading up lists which I have already paid to be cleaned, the system automatically stops campaigns from running. The support screenshot guides which show how to remove inactive emails are completely wrong and out of date as the company has updated their system but not the screenshots, so all fields are different and impossible to follow the guide. I have been sent this wrong guide now about 3 or 4 times by various support staff. So far omisend, although has a fairly nice interface, is a complete headache and waste of time using in practice compared to other email marketing systems. UPDATE : Omnisend after a year of me using it decided to increase the price to a ridiculous amount, maybe 10 times what i was paying, so i cancelled it. The app is nice idea but please not the severe flaws as above and now the stupid pricing makes it way overpriced and not a feasible option to use. Sort it out guys...

I wish there was a way to just write a simple text design email pulling the products and text links, also there is a MAJOR bug! the product price is shown with a comma for USA instead of a period, so it looks like $50,00 instead of $50. Many people are on google and google blocks images in emails marketing. so i would like to test text only emails with hyperlinks imbedded thanks- bill

I am certain that this is an excellent app. But very occasionally numerous issues occur whereby an app simply does not work. My initial issue was with Shaw, one of Canada's largest telecommunications companies. Shaw's spam filters had (wrongly) listed soundest as a spam associated company and froze my emails when I used the soundest name. Shaw is most certainly incorrect in this but it was still a nuisance to manage. Then I had considerable difficulty in setting up the 'easy to use' system. Again I am sure that it is 'easy to set up' but perhaps not for me. The support staff at soundest support tried hard to resolve the issues and I am grateful for their assistance, but it was without any success. Sometimes even with the best will in the world things just do not work and it is best to move on.

Unfortunately, after being a subscriber for over 8 years, I am forced to give this application a negative review. As a long-term customer, I expect more from this service. The application, unfortunately, has begun to disregard customer loyalty and implement strange policies and techniques that harm the customer's website. Due to a questionable rating from an unknown website, the application has permanently closed my account and blocked my messaging, claiming that I was sending spam. Ironically, the application itself collected the subscriber lists for the mailing list and is responsible for all emails sent. This means that if there is any suspicion of spamming or collecting subscribers improperly, the application itself is the cause (of course, a representative from the application will deny this, but it is the truth). I contacted reputable and well-known websites to evaluate the status of my domain (Shopify, GoDaddy, Cisco reputation check) and they confirmed that there is no problem with the website and they do not know what this website used by the application as a reference (spamhause) is. I have been a customer and subscriber to the application since 2016, which is more than 8 years, and I pay around $250 to $350 or more per month. However, it seems that the application has changed in terms of management or policy, unfortunately, for the worse. Now, after paying for a full package worth $250, my account was blocked after only 3 days of subscription. Strangely, the application refuses to refund the subscription fee. Unfortunately, the application has lost the loyalty of a customer for over 8 years and has received a negative review. I do not recommend this application to anyone and I will do so based on my work in the field of Shopify website development.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction, especially as a long-term customer of over eight years. We deeply value the trust you’ve placed in us, and it’s disheartening to learn about your disappointment. To clarify, your account suspension was due to your domain being listed on Spamhaus, a globally respected authority in spam prevention. This listing indicates potential issues with subscriber list acquisition or non-compliant practices. To ensure the highest email deliverability rates and protect the integrity of our platform, we are unable to allow sending from accounts associated with domains flagged by Spamhaus. We understand this can be frustrating and want to assist you in resolving the matter. We’ve previously shared guidance on how to address this listing, as delisting is a critical step for reactivating your account. Regarding your subscription fee, while we understand your perspective, our terms state that refunds are not provided in cases involving policy violations, including issues related to spam or improper subscriber list management. We’re truly sorry that this experience has impacted your perception of our service. Your loyalty over the years means a great deal to us, and we’d be happy to support you through the delisting process or address any additional questions you may have.

I just want to send a simple email to my clients. I started the process, but it is VERY complicated. Beware that this is not a simple way to just send your clients an email. Damn you shopify! DAY 2 - ugh I just want to send an email to my clients. ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE. I have been on shopify support 4 times, and they do their best, but without support from Soundest, they can't do anything. Soundest support is NON-EXISTENT - I've sent them about 25 messages. If you want to send emails to your client base, DO NOT USE THIS APP.

READ BEFORE INSTALLING: 1) No Phone Support; 2) SMS marketing tool was changed to subscription based. You will be charged for: a) amount of SMS, b) sending limits. It would have been OK but the system simply does not work well and support is not very helpful. For the amount they charge there should be phone support and WORKING solution.

I downloaded this app last month with the intentions on using it for my store. I never had a chance to actually use the app but had installed it into my theme. I noticed I was not receiving as much mail from my customers as usual on my site, after awhile I noticed my shopify contact box on my site was not working and had not been ever since I downloaded this app to my store. After spending an hour on the phone with Shopify, we discovered that this single app interferes with the send button of Shopify's contact box. After removing this app, everything works fine again and my contact box is now working. This app has caused me to lose a ton of business and countless customers as they think they are sending me an email, but we never received it. I cannot tell you how upset I am that I trusted an app like this to help my business, when it actuality it cost me a fortune over lost sales and angry customers. You guys really need to look into this issue. Shopify has confirmed the issue and is escalating it to the top. Hopefully someone from Shopify reaches out to you guys so you can get this fixed and you don't affect anyone else's business.
