I originally left a positive review and still appreciate that this is a Hungarian team based in Hungary. The product itself has some strong elements. However, after using it longer, I discovered that bot and crawler scripts are counted as “impressions.” With the current increase in bots, this makes the impression metric essentially meaningless on Shopify, which materially affects how performance is evaluated and how quickly users are charged. I can no longer use this product as a result. Sadly Shopify nor Optimonk have a good solution to the advances in AI. Unfortunately, no practical solution or adjustment has been offered to address this issue, which is disappointing and not quite fair given how important accurate attribution is today. That said, their pop-ups do appear to outperform Klaviyo in terms of engagement and conversion behavior, which is worth noting.

I know everybody say "I never leave reviews, but...". In this case it's really accurate. I can count on one hand the number of times I've left a review for any app. I'm almost always underwhelmed. NOT THIS TIME. The app itself is really well thought out and efficient. But the customer support is what sold me. Like a lot of busy entrepreneurs, I don't have a lot of time to comb through help pages every time I run an issue. It makes a huge difference when you have a highly responsive and KNOWLEDGEABLE support staff at the ready (in my case Anna). Not only was she able to thoroughly explain to me how to fix any issues, but in most cases was able to go into my account and fix them for me. I am beyond impressed.

This app is great, and the team is super helpful. Optimonk is our preferred pop up software and we consistently get higher conv rates with it over others we've tried. Their support and team knowledge has been useful as well.

What a brilliant app (and even better customer service!) We've been using an exit intent pop-up on our site for a couple of months now and its been performing at over 13% conversion, consistently. There are loads of templates you can adapt as you like and the interface is super easy to use. The customer service really is next level. They answer your questions really quickly and everyone I have spoken to has been incredibly helpful and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thank you!

Since implementing OptiMonk's exit-intent popup we've seen our newsletter optin conversion rate go from below 1% to over 3% in the first month. Our website bounce rate improved significantly and the average visitor time on site and pages per session have all increased. The interface is incredibly user-friendly, intuitive, and easy to navigate. The starter designs are stunning. The design tool is one of the best drag-and-drop visual design tools I've used. When compared to 5 other popup apps for Shopify that we tested, OptiMonk was the clear leader. Lastly, their support is top-notch. I've been able to have questions answered very quickly with their chat support. Excellent job!

The App seems really good - we're still testing it. But I want to leave this 5-star review for Christopher from the Support Team. He went well above and beyond to make sure my experience was the best. He even jumped on a quick call with me to share his screen and go over the App so that I could learn how to use it. As I mentioned, I'm not sure if we'll use or not this App, but I can guarantee that their Team is very concerned about their customers' experiences - and that's always great.
