We cannot recommend this app at all. We have had it for almost a year soon and we have had so many problems and issues. The downpayment option rarely works and our customers ask us many times why they have to pay the full amount… Anither big problem is that our customers only can pre order one product at the time, which means that if a customer wants to pre order 5 different products the have to create 5 different orders with 5 separate shippings costs… Support could bot help hus with this and we stopped reportng the issues after the first six months. Now we have deleted this app and are handling our pre orders differently. Really dissapointed!

I have been very impressed with this app. The support staff were very responsive and helped get this working just as I wanted with the added bonus of Back in Stock Notifications included. I've now removed 2 apps and replaced with this one saving me money every month!

I contact the guys from support and they are fast and good, they help us to solve a problem in our website. Besides that, the pre-order app has been a real important feature on our website during long delivery shortages to keep securing sales! That was pretty amazing!

I am confused with this app. It is working only on items that don't have any stock for any variations. As soon as one variation is in stock the pre-order stops working on all variations. Very frustrating as we can't use this app like we wanted to and as advertised.

more than 50% of all my store orders are pre-orders, so I would be lost without this app! It is very simple and works well. The support team is also top-notch!

Great app, easy to set preorders. Does exactly what you need it to do. The only thing I would like to add is for the preorder tag to export out with the order in the ship station tags so I can sort and filter my orders with those that have items for preorders and fulfill easier.

THE APP HAS RUINED OUR WEBSITE. DO NOT USE THIS. Our site has had a bug for 3 weeks. The menu bar stopped working on our mobile view, also the banner picture slider dissapeared. Only just got told today by shopify that leftover code from this app that we deleted 3 weeks ago is causing the problem. Just downloaded again now to see if we can uninstall again and remove all leftover code succesfully this time. Sent 3 emails to customer service without reply. This is really a waste of time!! Worst app ever.

I'm disappointed in this app. Still displays the preorder button even when the item is in stock. Since most customers won't buy pre-order items over in-stock items, I deleted the app but the preorder button won't go away. I emailed customer support for help but never heard back from them. Please avoid this app and get something better. EDIT: The support team reached out to me after posting this review and helped me remove the remaining code from my website. I do appreciate their fast and helpful customer service.

Update Aug 23 2025: update my review and change from 4 to 5 stars, because the latest update of pre-order by creating profiles and adding products (SKUs) on each profile is the best update of the app so far. It makes the most sense, most practical for managing pre-order, much faster and more efficient when the upcoming (pre-order) shipment has any changes of details it can be done in bulk. In the past, we need to add/remove/change one-by-one (SKU), it was tedious and took so much time. Well done Globo and whoever came up with this new version! Keep up the good work! This app has always been improved. it's getting better and better. The customer service always responds email quickly usually within 24 hrs. Update Jun 24, 2022: SKU has been added, and the stop condition by date & time glitch has been solved. We had teamviewer session to fix the issue. App runs better now. Customer service (Sarah) is very responsive and helpful. Increasing stars for this time. Update Jun 6, 2022: Have been using this for almost a year and a half now, not much improvement, nor any new updated features. The Pre-order Stop Conditions by date & time has some glitches. The set and saved time always changed, for example, we saved it as 2022-06-07 17:00, the next time we checked time randomly changed to 16:00, or some other random time. The customer support reposed to us "This situation was due to the difference between the device's timezone and the shop's timezone". But our device are in the exact time zone! Doesn't make sense, and they haven't fixed it. There is still no SKU display, it's very inconvenient to work on hundreds of items when it doesn't show SKU or enable SKU search. There are some other issues too. Changed from 3 stars to 2 stars. Update Aug 19, 2021: We have been using Globo Pre-order app for about 5 months now, still found issues/glitch here and there, but customer service usually response to our email within a day and fixed the issues within 1-3 days. The main issue with this app is we can't search by SKU, and doesn't display SKU on pre-order features, so it's quite inconvenient to work on, especially when there are a lot of items/variants. The Back-in-stock feature didn't work very well and there were some glitches, we stopped using it, only use this app for Pre-order, and use another app for Back-in-stock. Therefore, we updated the rating from 5 to 3 stars. Original review: At the beginning when we started using the app, we found few issues here and there which we almost changed to try other app, but the customer service got back to us fairly quickly (within 24 hrs) and their team helped resolving the issues. After many emails exchanged, most issues got fixed and now run smoothly. 5 stars because 1. app itself is easy to use 2. many customized features 3. Customer service was responsive 4. Resolving issues fairly quickly 5. Decent price. 6. Got both Pre-order plus Back-in-stock features.

Fantastic app for preorders. Functions as described. Support is very fast and helpful. Wish list for future features: 1. Partial Payment functionality to allow more than one item in the cart. 2. Ability to partially confirm pickup orders. These issues are largely more a Shopify issue than this app though. Would still be great if a developer could figure this out.

We have been very please with its functionality and decided to purchase the subscription to expand our options for adding more product. The one thing that stops it from getting a full five stars is that there is no option to display the in-stock date below the product (a count down timer is too flashy for our website) and the instructions for setting up pre-orders was confusing at times.

I'd been using a different pre-order app so it took me a little while to adapt (mainly because I'm impatient and don't read things properly!) but this app is very straight forward. I love that you can change the default text so you don't have to re-write your chosen text if you want a product to have a different setting. Really easy to use and customize. Support are great whenever there is a problem
