We installed Product Options back in 2013 when BoldApps managed it. Had minimal issues up until ShipCircle took over. Started having issue after issue. Back in 2024 we started experiencing app incompatiblity with Shopify's update and Shop Circle was clueless about their own app. I was promised "fix" after "fix" for months with no improvement. They didn't even know their own features offered on their upgraded plan. We lost thousands of dollars in revenue and discovered that Shopify doesn't stand behind their app developers OR store owners. I recently switched over to BigCommerce for numerous reasons and my only regret is that I didn't switch sooner. Major game changer for our business. The reps are helpful and actually care. Their knowledge base is amazing. I was a Shopify customer for 10+ years and their customer support is non-existent. BigCommerce is the way to go to prevent ALOT of frustration and wasted time.

Unable to duplicate the entire option sets for each product. You will always need to copy each option one by one from another product if you are building a catalog of similar products with slight changes. Huge waste of time.

Ok so, I have been driving myself crazy trying to figure out how to offer packs on my site but only allowing specific options. I spoke to Brenden from Bold and he helped me solve my problem super fast. By far the best support I have had with apps! Thanks Bold

I was having trouble with the options showing up live initially and chat support was very quick to help me out. They created a ticket for me and someone email followed up within 20 minutes with a resolution! Super speedy!

Great app! With many different price points on a "build your own" product, it took a bit of manipulation to get the conditions correct, but with Nicholas' help, (and a huge help he was!!) it is up and running perfectly! Thanks again Nicholas!

Bold went above and beyond over and over - our theme is little complicated and has snazzy ajax based features requiring a bit more work than the basic install. Lawrence helped install the app into our theme and as little bugs came up, he addressed them incredibly quickly. We spent some time trying to use free product option apps, and honestly regret wasting the time. Bold Options is THE extra options app to use on shopify, especially considering their incredible customer service and expert dev team. Thank you so much Bold, thank you Lawrence.

Amazing! First of all let me state that we would not be able run our website without the Bold Product Options app. A way to offer custom options on our products is 100% necessary. Secondly, the technical support is A+ if and when issues do seldom occur the response time is extremely fast. I have worked with Lawerence and he is superb. Very attentive and prompt to resolve any issue that we experience. Lastly, the app is great app with lots of design options so it actually looks professional and you can customize it to match your theme. We have the premium version and it is worth every dollar to have the swatch options and conditional logic etc. They are constantly improving the app and design features. This is a great app! So many helpful and powerful features. We had a complicated set up we wanted to try and Alexa from Bold support was so amazing! She helped me with all kinds of weird questions about coding this correctly and got us down the right path for our customizations. Great app with tons of features, and they're online chat help is amazing. Shoutout to Parminder who went above and beyond helping me adjust the code for not only my product options, but a few other small problems I was having!
