Closed my store for days! This Product Upsell app caused my store to be down for five days until Shopify stepped in to fix it. Injected scripts were being pushed into my store by the app which prevented our shipping methods to load – hence prevented customers to make a purchase. Bold couldn’t care less when they got involved, I got the most uninterested answer and they did not seem to find a reason to look further into it for other customers to avoid the same error. Five days without sales - that’s pretty expensive.

This app paid for itself 2x over in just the very first day we were open. Also needed some help with customizing the modals and the team at Bold was lightning fast at getting back to us and helping us out. Already found a few more Bold apps we're interested in using ... and know they'll be able to help us get those dialed in too!

This app has changed our world. A great way to promote and remind customers of smaller, add-ons they may not think of initially when coming to shop. We see a HUGE return on this!

Extremely poor support. The app mess with product page layout. Image sliders stopped working and support saying its not because of their app. This is so careless.

Love the apps and what they can do , but for some reason I have an issue with one of the steps each time I create a different discount / upsell. When’s that happens I get on the live chat and always get things resolved . Julian was great, really helpful and patient and responded the issue quickly. Couple of suggestions - I am Shopify user based in the UK . When I have an issue I have to wail until late afternoon toncont at live chat. Would love if there was someone available around the clock as I’m sure there are many other non U.S. based Shopify / Bold users . Second suggestion : offer a paid option for the discounts etc to be created by a Bold staffer -like there is an option for pay $10 to install liquid. I would happily pay the same for someone to create out discounts because when I get it wrong I spend way too much time trying to correct it ! Thanks Bold!

We are based in South Africa and we are opening our first online store! We are using product discount and product upsell to create our opening store special! It was so easy to install and set up, and completely solved our problem! I had a question about the app, and the support team got back to me right away, really making the process a pleasure! I sent a request asking about why only three of the five dicounted products were showing and I was told how the products are shown randomly and only if they are in stock, which is exactly what we want, so I was very happy!

Great app. We tried a lot of different upsell app before coming to this one and it really was the best choice to do. It held the traffic during black friday and it's easy to use. Their support is also very efficient, especially Kirtana, Dan and Danni who have been really helpfull to us lately. 5 stars app for sure.

We love the Bold Upsell App! We've been playing around with it for a couple of weeks and it starting converting right away. Bold have the best apps and they are easy to install, set-up and use! They also provide excellent customer service. Very satisfied!

This app is perfect for our store. Being a direct to consumer company we always had an upsell flow on our traditional websites and it was one of the biggest negatives about moving our business to Shopify, without an upsell flow we could miss out on tons of potential revenue and your customers miss out on seeing other products that they may actually have liked. Frantically looking for a solution before the holidays I came across Bold Commerce Product Upsell app and decided to give it a try. It was performing for us within hours of implementing. Being able to customize what was shown as the upsell really helped us to sell through our less viewed products. The customer service (Brendin) has also been terrific which is rare for app companies I have found. So, big thank you to Brendin and Bold Commerce for the great product and service.

The Bold Upsell app is powerful and relatively user friendly, however, the description, "Product Upsell app allows you to create Upsell and Cross-sell offers that display relevant add-on, or upgrade, products at the point of adding a product to the cart, the click of the checkout button, or even AFTER the customer has made their purchase", is misleading. *Upsells* work on the Product Page ONLY. Unfortunately, this app does not enable Upsells on the Cart page or after the customer has made their purchase.

Great product - Simple to use and was utilised on the first sale after installing it. We had a minor issue and the Support team were excellent with fixing my issue. Would highly recommend.

Working with this app now for about a month on 2 different stores. By itself... this app didn't create any added revenue. BUT... worked great in combo with the PRODUCT DISCOUNT App for BOGO offers. :) .... Update about 2 weeks later: I was about to leave a good review when I noticed an issue. I installed 2 of the apps so I can activate the BOGO style offers to customers. When we sold out of a variant, the ADD TO CART Button was not disabling do to the code needed to use the BOGO Style offerings. I contacted support and within 48 hours the issue was resolved. I am very pleased with the support and it gives me confidence to use more of their apps with our additional stores. The two apps "Product Discount" & "Product Upsell" work well together and we have been able to increase the order value. Now... just need more traffic :)

We just purchase Product Upsell and are in the process (actually this weekend) of implementing it on our site. Shop the Hound has been in business since 2011. It started with one product and I didn't even have a store, had never been in sales (I was always in Purchasing) and so I built my business from scratch. The store has gone through some growing pains in the past year as we moved platforms twice and are now loving Shopify. I realized recently the store really need to take advantage of the fact that we have a customer sitting at home wanting to purchase the product but often they don't realize that there are other items that would really compliment their purchase and why not take advantages of the economy of scale with regard to shipping. I'm excited to see what Product Upsell will do for Shop the Hound. I really think that it coupled with Product Discount that Shop the Hound is on the right path to an even more improved store. We love this app! I particularly like the cross-sells which allows our customers to easily upgrade items or buy accessories that apply to them. The support team, especially Dan, is also top notch. They get back to you quickly and are very helpful.
