Deceptive practices. We have tried canceling our subscription after being billed the first month. Instead of canceling, they automatically upgraded our account to a pro account. Subsequent requests to switch this to the free plan or 29$ plan via their contact page and through the subscription page (until them billing us was resolved) was met with acknowledgement only to find they've been charging us this higher rate for months now.
We understand that uninstalling an app from your store can be complicated and are sorry you did not successfully uninstall Sales Pop when you first reached out to us in February. We did try following up with you after noticing that you disabled Sales Pop, but did not uninstall. As we do not have access to your Shopify Admin and are not able to uninstall for you, your subscription remained active. Sales Pop will auto-upgrade you to a higher plan tier if you exceed your session limit unless you disable auto-upgrade. Many of our subscribers find this useful as they do not want Pops to stop displaying if sessions are exceeded. Your most recent charge has been refunded.

I love this app. It's straight forward and does exactly what you want. I also appreciate the simpleness of the interface. But honestly the best part of this app is the really supportive customer service. They got me set up in no time and gave me detailed replies with pictures on how to solve my problems. Very happy!

This app seems great however the session counting is inaccurate. I've had about 30 visitors to my site today but the dashboard is reading that I've had 700 sessions. This is concerning since they charge by session.
Hi, thank you for taking the time for the review, we appreciate your feedback, Now about the session counting it is important to note that in POP a session is defined as every time the script is loaded in your shop, this means that the script can be loaded multiple times during one customer visit by opening a new tab or entering the site twice. So as you can see visitors does not equal sessions, feel free to reach out to us if you have any more questions or doubts we will be happy to clarify,
