Not impressed, nor happy. Either the app or the work done by delevopers (+$175) managed to mess-up the theme, causing both design ( product titles disappeared under main menu) & usability issues ( most crucially the buy button disabled when a different variant was selected) Since letting them know this yesterday, I can't access the app to see if they have responded to my support message ( I havent recieved an email, so doesn't seem so...) The only thing I can do is uninstall and caution others against using this service.

I was searching that included certain features necessary to increase the speed of my store. In my experience, if an app, any app, truly solves a problem, they give you a free trial so that you can engage with the app and see how well it meets your needs. This app offered a free trial, great. The caveat is that you cannot actually utilize all of the features, no matter what package you choose, during the trial. When you visit a feature, a box pops up stating that you must click on the "waive trial" button in order to use that feature. Sketchy, for sure. But I went against my better judgement, thinking it was only $29, and waived the trial to test it. I tested all of the options, and then tested my speed on their app, where it showed menial improvement (far from what I expected). In addition, although their app shows my site speed improved, in constant testing it did not provide any noticeable increase in speed. I should also mention, despite there being no changes made to the website, and having their "daily auto boost" feature enabled, the app shows my website speed slowing down each day. They do offer, for an additional $150, to have an expert increase your speed for you, but I feel like I was scammed out of my $29 by yet another app that overpromises and under delivers and am not interested in spending even more just to be disappointed again.

$30 to make my site slower. especially on mobile which is the majority of traffic. do not waste you money on this app or any other speed app. Most speed apps just cause more problems than they fix.

I had a free trail that I cancelled in order to purchase their personalized plan and get in touch (and pay for) their expert. But I was CHARGED even though I cancelled my subscription, and I never got a reply from their team regarding this. And regarding the app, it did not improve the speed of my website at all. So I highly recommend looking for a Shopify expert to help you improve the speed, this app is a total scam and they couldn't care less about their customers.

The day I installed this app was the day my website went insane. I had multiple issues right out of the gate with this one. I ran the free speed optimizer and also used their image tool to optimize 100 images. My thinking was I would test the free version, and if it worked I would pay for monthly optimizations. Test failed. The first, and biggest problem, was that the app made a duplicate version of my website. I did not realize right away, but the "optimized" theme was downgraded from Dawn 7.0 to a modified Dawn 4.0 that was unable to update. And not just the theme it duplicated....ALL my backups were suddenly Dawn 4.0. My website is less than a year old, Dawn 4.0 was never previously installed on my site, ever. I also had multiple product images that simply vanished and needed to be re-uploaded. On mobile, my product image swipe quit working. Even though it would say 1/4 images....It would only show one on mobile. I also had two "sale" icons on the products that were on sale, and one was half way off the screen so it was definitely causing glitches. Random icons on my website also disappeared and my website was overall glitchy. The optimizer tool got my page speed from a 28 to a 41 right away. However, the next day I was down to a 21 page speed and my website was simply not working. I decided to try to update my website to Dawn 9.0 since 4.0 was such an old version I figured that could be part of the problem...But no, the theme was modified and could not be updated. I had to download a fresh version of my theme. None of my page templates would transfer....I would have to completely re-design my website. So I got in touch with Shopify support hoping for an easier solution, who told me whatever the optimizer did to my theme to remove the "unused" javascrips and css, did something to my theme files. They suggested I contact the app developer support and ask for whatever they did to my website to be rolled back or removed. The Swift app developers got back to me quickly and looked into my issue, which I was happy about. However, they came back and told me it was "impossible" that my themes were downgraded to 4.0, and that it was "unreasonable" that I did not notice immediately (Do you check what version of theme you're using every day?) They offered zero solution, and told me to go back to Shopify with their email. So I did. Shopify support agreed that the email from the Swift app support was incredibly unhelpful and basically dodging responsibility. I spent a whopping four hours with Shopify support, and spoke to multiple people as they sent my case up the ranks to figure out why my site wouldn't update, why there were so many glitches, and why none of my page templates would transfer to my fresh Dawn 9.0 theme download from the modified 4.0 themes. After all that time, it was finally suggested that I just rebuild my page themes and redesign my website. We had to delete all my old backups that were corrupted by the Swift Page Speed Optimizer tool and start over. Devastating. After removing all of the theme backups that were corrupted and starting on a fresh theme download....My google page speed went from a 21 to a 64. Removing whatever the Swift app did, fixed everything. My website now runs flawlessly with a vastly improved speed score. In hindsight, I should have just upgraded to 9.0 before trying this app. I asked the Shopify support rep how a Shopify app from the Shopify App Store could so severely damage my website files...and they told me that Shopify has no control over what apps are on the app store and to use caution. They told me the best thing I can do is to leave a detailed review of what happened so other users may not have this problem. So here I am . I give one star for the support team responding to me, thanks for the response, as unhelpful as it was. Otherwise, I would avoid this app, or any app, that automatically alters theme files. Zero stars.

Deleted the app, and not only does their code stay, but it also took down our website, on every single theme. Sent them an email but we never got anything back. As long as this wont get fixed, I'm leaving this 1 star review.

It technically increased the speed but it creates a bunch of issues with our site and conflicted with some apps. Weird bugs showed up and they calmed it on the theme even though the theme was working perfectly before. Hours of explaining and debugging but it was never perfect. They operate from Vietnam as well. Their code seemed wonky and causing more trouble than goods. Uninstalling the app. I wasted tens of hours on this. Giant fail.

I would not recommend using their "experts" to boost your page speed. Paid good money and my store still has low score of 45 on Google page speed, 30 in Swift app, and 30 on shopify. Not happy that I didn't get what was expected.

Those original images are stored on Shopify system then and after 30 days if you do not revert the original images, those images will be deleted forever. I'm just telling the truth. The free plan of this app does not give you any improvement in the loading speed of your web pages. This is what the customer service of this app told me. The moment I downloaded the app, the customer service came to me and asked if I needed to buy extra services, and I didn't even start doing anything.

the app was unable to optimize my theme - got the error message "theme title was too long" and then after using their other feature to try to improve speed my store went from 61 to 50 on the speed test, and a couple of hours later my theme broke. This happened on the 25 of Dec. a crazy day to optimize right. had to contact Shopify support for help because the app doesn't have 24/7 support and so they were unavailable. I subscribed to their paid plan.

Regarding the problem with "theme name too long", that is due to Shopify's requirement, the theme name should not be longer than 50 characters. When running the optimization, the app needs to duplicate your current theme and it will add more characters to your theme name, for example: "Copy of [Theme]". In case your theme name is too long, we are not able to duplicate and optimize on it and we would have to shorten the name to make it work. Relating to the score, we have met some cases before telling us that the score decreases after installing our app. However, it may not because of our code since when you run the speed test like on Google PageSpeed Insights, there's no code from our app detected slowing down your page. I'm really disappointed with the service I've received. I paid $150 to have my theme optimised. It was faster but product images wouldn't load which is kind of essential in ecommerce! I asked for support but the first response blamed me for switching back to my original theme (I mean, I couldn't exactly leave the theme without functioning images up) and then they ghosted me when I followed up. So they were super keen to take my money but suddenly nowhere to be seen when I ask for them to fix my broken theme/refund my money. I feel really ripped off.

AVOID THIS APP AT ALL COSTS IT HAS CORRUPTED THE THEME ON OUR STORE!!!! ABSOLUTELY CATASTROPHIC LOSS OF DATA DUE TO INSTALLATION OF THIS SWIFT PAGE SPEED OPTIMISER APP. From the moment our developer chose to install this app it corrupted our Theme and we have LOST SIX MONTHS WORTH OF SITE DEVELOPMENT. This is THE MOST STRESSFUL SITUATION. PLUS THEIR SUPPORT IS ABSOLUTELY USELESS AND THREE DAYS AFTER THE CATASTROPHIC CORRUPTION OF OUR SHOP THEY STILL HAVE NOT MANAGED TO RESOLVE THE ISSUES. WE ARE ANGRY BEYOND WORDS.

I Do Not Recommend This App. The First Day I Downloaded This App I Used It, and it Requested to optimize and speed up my theme so I let it. It Completely Destroyed My Theme And I Had To Use A Backup That Some People May Not Have. They ended up giving me a replacement 5 days later which was slower than the original theme. The Support Isn't even online when there hours say they are. Not Worth the download and definitely not worth the price, I had there premium package going through all this.

This app is terrible!! Do not install !! Half our pictures are now blurry. Even after removing code pictures still look terrible. It’s unexceptionable and with offset business hours, the window of communication is very small, so this might take days to correct, meanwhile we are sitting ducks. We went in to get a faster website and ended up with a website not functioning at all

In any situation that there's error after optimizing, you can restore your images and remove code of optimized theme so that everything will be back to normal.
