BE AWARE After my bad experience and finally canceling and removing the app which left a lot of useless code on my side, I received 6 to 8 emails in 4 days one phone call on my personal phone number (they were masking their phone number) and they send me messages on Whatsapp. They don't respect your personal data and they will SPAM you to death! Completely useless! If you plan to translate your language from English to another language that is not Latin based, the chances of the fonts working in both languages are zero to none. And this app does not offer support or a build-in solution to adjust/change the fonts in the second language so your website will look clean and professional. The AI translation tool is a joke, don't use it to translate your website with it. Customer service was a total disappointment, they refuse to cancel my subscription even if I was in the 14-day trial and they claim that they offer 30 days refund... what a joke!

Jennifer from support is really slow. I have asked to connect with another agent, but nothing happens. Translation doesn't work properly on mobile pages, but I can't find help for this. And all the problem is not over here. Today I am dealing with Johnson from support. I have site speed decreased from 77 to 49. And all the language selections are messed up.

Worst experience ever. Although we opted for the Premium plan, they made us wait 5 days for an app that has missing translations, false translations and our website's usability and speed went down considerably. We are shocked to see how this app can have so many positive reviews. I think most of its users don't speak any other languages. "Check out" was translated as "Vérifier" in French which means verify. Apps are not translated, doesn't integrate well with Shopify Markets. The support is terrible and slow. An overall catastrophic experience that made us loose a lot of revenue during 5 days due to bugs, errors and mis-information. We were promised 24-48 hours, then a specific day and none of these delays were respected. Unprofessional, unethical and uncaring -> worst experience with a Shopify App. EDIT: They didn't even delete their code after saying that I wanted to delete the app, they basically just sent an article on how to delete left over code, worst way to treat customers!

Pricing is very misleading. A free plan is only available to new customers. I was looking forward to this app considering I only needed 1 currency converter and 1 language converter so I thought the free plan was perfect to realize I couldn't select it. Disappointing

Worst app! Doesn't solved my issue and wanted full access of my site!!! I don't give access and they remove my switcher!! I can't believe they did this!

THIS IS THE WORST APP EVER!!! The currency does not work on the cart page!!!! I contacted them and stated the issue very clearly and even sent the image to them. The support team is not reading my message at all and wasted 2 hours looking for something else. I kept sending them where the issue is, but AGAIN they ignored my message. After 5 hours later, they said it is the Shopify payment issue for the currency not displayed on the CHECKOUT PAGE which I never said its on the checkout page!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now all currencies do not work at all including the languages. THIS APP IS JUST LIKE JOKES, THE SUPPORT TEAM IGNORES YOUR FEEDBACK AND ONLY WASTED YOUR TIME UPDATE------ They will change your settings and hide the selector without your permission UPDATE 0624 AGAIN They understood my request incorrectly and changed your app setting without your permission.

Worst experience with a Shopify app I have ever had. After installing the app, I noticed that the translations weren't displaying correctly and that different currencies weren't showing. I asked the support team for help and after giving them some access to my store, they kept me on chat for about 2 hours. After 2 hours, and very little progress, they told me that they needed increased admin access to be able to edit my markets, I explained multiple times that I was not going to give said access as it would be in breach of customer data legislation and would expose my customer data to a third party (they were requesting orders access). The support team ignored my explaination and kept saying that this was going to be the only way to fix the issue. As we weren't making any progress and the support team insisted on getting me to grant them access to my customer data, I asked for a refund. Then I was told that as per their t&cs, if I refused to give "staff account" access that would be against their refund policy and therefore I couldn't get a refund. I explained that I shouldn't find myself in the position of breaching data law in order to be compliant with their policies but again that fell on deaf ears. Through their behaviour they've shown how little they care about data security so I wouldn't recommend this app to anybody. Besides, the refund request is now "being assessed", I doubt I'll ever see the money again. Waste of time.

Third party apps are not changeable! Im very disappointed for such an expensive app. It is ok to make the basic translation but when I'm at the Premium Plan and I pay 40 $ per month I expect at least to help me with basic things. At the premium plan they say that I would be able to change images too but this is only for the Shopify admin.

The support is awesome, got helped all the way through the process of installing it. I have only tested the app a for a couple of minutes but the translations seem accurate. The one thing that king of dissapointed me was that on the shopify store it gives a free plan as an option, but that plan is only available for very new stores. *UPDATE* I decided to update my review to 1 star because of the support. I asked to move the widget to a custom location, which they were happy to do. When placed at that location the mobile version of the widget didn't work so I asked for a fix. It took a while for them to understand why it did not work, which is understandable. The only fix was to move to the footer, when doing this my theme layout got messed up and the support has just stopped responding. Worst of all, this whole thing has already taken 6 hours, and is still not fixed.

Ik ben erg ontevreden over de support over deze app. Jennifer wil totaal niet met je meedenken en verwijst je van kastje naar de muur. Elke keer wordt je verwezen naar de Theme support maar blijkt de fout wel bij hun te zitten. Erg vervelend ik hoop dat ze in de toekomst dit gaan veranderen anders ga ik naar een andere app kijken.

Beware, in the Shopify store it shows a FREE PLAN for 1 language but when downloaded and getting started it shows 3 options, none of them are free. False advertising.

Too many issues with this app. Edits cannot be done on pages done with a PageBuilder, it's not compatible with 3rd party apps. The team tried to solve this and deleted our tab app without our consent to make their app work - if we hadn't asked what they did to make the app work they wouldn't have told us. All in all very unprofessional, low quality auto-translations and basically a waste of 7+ hours. If you're looking for standard translations without the need of editing anything but the standard Shopify theme pages I bet it's fine.

We have finished our trial with Transcy and we have decided not to continue with them. The app is good if you have a "simple" store, but if you take your store seriously and care about loading time, performance and dynamic translations this is not it. If you have a page that has other third apps, specially landing page apps like GemPages and more, then Transcy is not at all good. The app cannot translate anything that doesnt belong to the native shopify theme, for exemple, we have some products with specific profiles and modules, if we want to change the language with Transcy it behaves as intended (on the current page), but if you click another product (which is what a customer will do) then the next page is loaded on the primary language and then it takes between 2-5 seconds to translate the page, really disrupting our customer experience. We talked with technical support and they told us that it is because Transcy needs to wait for the whole page to load (images and text) and it doesnt support other apps besides native Shopify... When we first installed, we got a sync issue, when trying to translate it was taking us to a 404, they fixed this issue over and over again during our trial so we couldnt really test the app, and we were forced to contact customer support to be able to embed the switcher to our page. After contacting them for the first time without even having being able to be able to run the app on our page the "agent Jennifer" asked us to rate the app, we told them that we couldnt give a rate if we haven't even tested the app. On "her" next answer, 5 minutes later, "she" told us that "she" cannot see our 5 stars review and when are we going to do it, really?, after we told "her" that we will do it when we have tested the app then she told us to tell her when we have done it so she can check it, what??, it seems that "she" got upset and they fixed our issue in 1-3 hrs!. The customer support is not good at all, you always deal with "Jennifer" with the same profile picture, and when you tell them the issue, "she" always asks for a screenshot, how can I provide a screenshot for a dynamic loading issue? please tell me how, because you cannot upload movie files... "Jennifer" is just a name for all the team to talk to you, so no personal interaction, then the technical support is very rude and they never introduce themselves. But the deal breaker for us is that when you contact cutomer support it takes generally 1-3 hours for them to answer, and when you answer their answer then they take another hour. Just yesterday it took 2 hours for them to fix the same 404 issue and an extra 6 hours to answer our technical questions. On average, it will take you 3 hours to have your problem fixed and your questions answered, do our customers have this time?, i dont think so. So if you have a busy page, this app is not the answer, if you run into an issue that "kills" your page like our 404 issue, it will be fixed in hours (they "repaired" 4 times, and didnt told us what was the issue). If you are a proper business owner, ask yourself, how many customer I have lost during this time and how does the limited capacity of this app will impact my company's reputation. Think carefully and consider other options that supports third party apps like Weglot, Translation Lab, between others before chosing this faily simple app with an impersonal and slow customer service. Five starts reviews are mostly after have fixed a simple issue, the real reviews are 3 stars and below.

Free version only applies to the stores created within 60 days. Also I activated the free period to see the performance before buying. The app added words before and after every single translation without giving a warning. It destroyed my previous translations which cost me hours to fix.

"Customers shopping on Transcy may be able to view the tags you've added to their customer account" this was the app breaking situation for us. Potential leak of private, internal tags we have here and all we got from the support was "don't worry, This is the necessary information that the app needs to operate at its best" Why? Nobody has explained. The app itself is great but no go for me, as we could not sort this out. Don't put any private tags because your clients will potentially see it.

This app is terribly cumbersome and not easy to use. Without support you are lost. They're all trying, but they made my shop unusable for 24 hours. Never again. I was fooled by the previous reviews.

For your last request as checkout page was not translated properly, it's because your checkout link has been set at default by theme, so it still keeps in German and we have to add the dynamic link for them to translate properly. We uninstalled this app once as the staff told us that Transcy is are not compatible with other 3rd party app. After we uninstalled, Transcy's staff Jennifer begged us to reinstalled so she will look into the problem and solve it. We reinstalled eventually and Transcy's dev team gave us the same answer of their incompatibility. We are highly unimpressed. Sorry but this app will waste your time. Do not try.
