A bit difficult to get hold of support, once they were aware of the issue, all the help needed was immediately given. Changing review from 1 to 4 stars. technical integration to shopify platform not functioning. Uploaded all details and verification and registration numbers. Upgrading was done in a split second. Then no integration, ticket logged and no response after several hours, just conflicting messages. Another example (and I have many over the last few months) that automated verifications are not functioning, as processes are set up with a very limited view of how businesses are organised. Eg. having two businesses, 1 website is active, the other under construction. One email for customer contacts, 1 email for business contacts.... NO, says TRUSTPILOT that is not allowed (if they would have done an actual verification they would have seen that both names are registered with Tax Office as well as Chamber of Commerce and both in my name. Bottum line, again hours of precious time wasted on behalf of another companies automated verifications, while that same company is as quick as possible to get your subscription for 180 euros’ a month... Question, for what should I pay this amount, no service, no response to a logged ticket, no actual support, apart from a chatty AI assistant who needs 10 minutes to determine it is not able to assist. And this is the website that should inspire trust to MY customers.

I have been using this app for about 2 months now and it works great. The Shopify integration is stable and review invitation emails are sent reliably without issues. Once set up, it runs automatically in the background and does its job well. In the dashboard its clearly stated if service or/and product email are sent. The dashboard its just one page and very easy to see what s happening and what are your settings. No complaints. Also, i would like to say something about the paid plan complaints i see in many reviews. So, new merchants please read this carefully. This app is just the connector between Shopify and Trustpilot. Pricing, widgets, branding options and paid features are determined by Trustpilot’s own paid plan policy, not by this app. Blaming the app for Trustpilot’s pricing model is misleading. Everything is shown on the Trustpilot's paid plan details stating that if you pay, you pay for an annual plan. Now, feedback time: 1) While the app works perfectly by performance standards, a feature i need as international eshop is the ability to schedule email sending times per region. While for some markets its enough, different markets have different optimal delivery windows and regional timing control would significantly improve an otherwise solid integration. As a new company, every change to gain a review, its a chance for me to scale faster. And that matters, a lot. 2) Having an option for email to be sent after some days (which i can set up) after the carrier scan = delivered? 3) Option for regional quiet hours like “Don' t send emails between 22:00–08:00 local time? 4) If you add different sceduled email times (please add this feature) it would also be good to have auto translation or let me choose for each region. Customers are far more likely to leave a review when the invitation is sent in their native language.

Most everything can be done through the Trustpilot app in Shopify with some "minor" aspects. Else the website has the other additional details to configure Trustpilot. So far after about 3 months, the "Free" plan has been a good fit. Looking to see value of our before we StepUP to a paid plan.

Have been using Trustpilot for a few months now, great for automating the collection of reviews. However, cannot consolidate product reviews collected from different countries or the same product that is separated out at variant level.

App works really well with my business, it' easy to integrate and invite customers to review my business on Trustpilot. Only reason for the 4* and not 5* is the huge price increase to gain access to more invites a month. from £0 to £200 p/m is ridiculous especially for a small business like my own. There are many features within this £200 plan that we would never use so it would be a waste for us to pay especially when we only want access to more invites. Maybe something to develop in the future as I would be happy to pay to add-on more invites to my plan without having to pay for the whole paid package.

I've been using Trustpilot for our business since 2015. They have come leaps and bounds over the years and are the dominant platform for review collection, widely recognised by the general public. They have a high cost but are worth the money if you are serious about collecting reviews for your business.

We have been using the Trustpilot Shopify integration long before it was formally released as an app through Shopify. We are on their Lite plan having exceeded their monthly free quota over a year ago. I feel the previous reviews are harsh, and don't necessarily reflect the app itself. The app itself works and works well. No it doesn't give direct access to ALL the features available through Trustpilot such as A/B testing, but it's not difficult to work round these things. If you want to collect verified reviews automatically, it works! We have always found Trustpilot customer support to be reasonably responsive (get an immediate acknowledgement and someone gets back to you properly within 24 hours.) Account managers change every 5 minutes and their customer service can sometimes be a little lacking which is odd for a platform that polices that very thing, but I believe that stems from the arrogance of being the market leader. Which brings me to my next point. They are very expensive, but you get what you pay for. More customers have heard of Trustpilot (at least within the UK) than other platforms, and as such they are more likely to a) complete a review request or b) convert into a paying customer having read some. Our conversion rate definitely went up after working with Trustpilot. Furthermore, they have recently changed their payment plans so you get a little more for your money than you did a couple of years ago if you are not interested in a lot of the extra features and only want to collect reviews. You have to factor the cost into your cost per sale and work out if the upgraded plans are worth the additional features and review quota. If not, stick to the free version!
