I recently tried Attentive, and it’s been a great tool for connecting with my customers directly through SMS. The app makes it easy to send out personalized messages and promotions that really catch my customers’ attention. Since using it, I’ve seen more engagement and even a boost in sales!

I've used Attentive SMS and MMS messaging the last four years and love the platform and customer service. Whenever I run into an issue, I'm able to communicate with my CSM or White Glove Service, making it a seamless process that's not frustrating. Attentive is constantly making new updates to the platform, making it a great experience for customers to receive updates and offers in a timely manner. I like being able to update journeys and with the press of a button, turn on a journey that I can tailor with specific copy and brand voice. Overall, I love how user-friendly the interface is and how it has strong integration capabilities with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, making it a go-to with any company I work at. I definitely recommend!

BEWARE: My repeated requests for cancellation have gone either challenged or ignored for almost a year. Now, after my third request, I “haven’t given proper notice”. The thoughtless response is very frustrating. It appears that either no effort was put forth to look into my repeated requests to cancel my account OR their practices are predatory and shady. Either way, it’s unacceptable and I highly encourage you to choose Klaviyo, PostScripts or any other company that doesn’t require a contract or a meeting for every simple request.
I am sorry to hear about the inability to cancel, but the team of CSMs here will look into this ASAP to ensure an easy transition for your brand. I do not have visibility into any current contracts you may be under, but they will be! We love Attentive - we've now worked with them for 3 different countries. The set up and integration are really easy to navigate and the reps are friendly and knowledgeable. The only real obstacle we've come across is a lack of integrations with Shopify Markets - for example, we have the US and CA on one Shopify account and although they're two separate Attentive accounts, we are limited to how many journeys linked to Shopify events we can do for Canada. Overall though, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a robust, easy to navigate and successful SMS program.

"I was promised white glove service when I signed up and pitched that there would be some hand holding by a dedicated team member to get me going on their platform, with regular follow-ups during my use of the app. That never happened. I went from someone contacting me non-stop to get me to sign-up to being ghosted by customer support staff with no follow-up and no training. I am not happy and would not recommend using this app because of this." Same thing happened to me. Noone is ever in the same position . Employees keep leaving. I was also was told to sign 3 years and I neber sign more than one and I was promised by Christine that if I had any issues she would let me out of the contract. Also they suggest the texts to help you and when I did that my bill was $2500 a month when my bill was supposed to be under $500. Shame because th app is easy to use. BUT ZERO customer service and they dont provide what they offer

Attentive as a partner has been wonderful. I have to say the level of support and timely responses/guidance is unparalleled - their team is always friendly, supportive and will dive into the tactical with our rather small team - that support is so appreciated. I kept getting messages from the sales encouraging me to try the app, but when I pressed for additional information, all they would provide me was asking for a "20 min call." Eventually, I installed the app and tried it out, but I was horrified to learn that I couldn't use it and that I had to schedule a "20 min call" with them in order to use it. Since I started using Shopify in 2016, I have never encountered a user experience quite like this one. They are unable to easily contact the user. Install the app and give it a try if you want to confirm my review.

They deal terribly when you decide to go. They didn't release our list on time and porting the number takes weeks (unnecessarily). Their prices are higher than everyone else with almost no advantage (we didn't see any increase in numbers, etc). We've tried Emotive and Postscript as well, and I'd rate Attentive as the worst.

Billing transparency is equal 0. For some weird reason one can not see detailed billing or find exact cost for anything in the account home. Billing invoices are emailed from another system, instead of being visible in the account, no billing history ... nothing. When I think better that must be intentional. Of course, prices might be somewhere in the contract, but who looks at the contracts. Also revenue contributed to the app is incorrect, overestimated. We have lot of revenue from new customers, and of course new customers subscribe to SMS ... attentive attributes every new purchase to the attentive generated revenue.
