CustomCat is the WORST EXPERIENCE our company has ever had with a Shopify related app or product. CustomCat product quality is horrific and the printing is amateurish at best. There is literally no quality control whatsoever. We lost hundreds of customers before finally switching to professional fulfillment companies that actually care about the store owners they sell to. CustomCat does not care at all. If you care about your own customers, you'll want to avoid all CustomCat products. Whatever amount of time it takes to switch to another app, do it and do it now! The app is deceptive in the sense that you can create products faster with this app than many of the other fulfillment apps on Shopify. The problem is absolutely horrific product quality matched by poor customer service. Again, hands down the worst customer experience we've ever had via Shopify. We're actually surprised Shopify is still sponsoring this app - it reflects poorly on them too. Don't be fooled by CustomCat low prices. This is a case study for "you get what you pay for." And in the case of CustomCat you'll get zero value, lose customers and deal with one customer service nightmare after another. RUN AWAY from this horrible company and their app! Need proof? Call CustomCat during normal business hours and ask a basic question about any product. You'll have all the proof you need. Again, don't walk away from this app, RUN! DO THE MATH: CustomCat has Fifty-four 1-star reviews out of 505 total reviews as of this writing. 10% ONE-STAR reviews! Compare that to an average app of 1-1.5% one-star reviews across all of Shopify. Run-away from this company!

My experience with Custom Cat has been very negative! -I placed a sample order on September 21st (just ONE product) -The order did not process until October 7th * (11 business days later) -As of today, October 14th, sixteen business days after I placed my order I still have not received the order and Custom Cat has been less then helpful and they are very slow to reply to messages. This is the second sample order that I have placed. The first order took a long time to arrive and I was very disappointed with the quality. I figured I would try another product and the experience has been even worse! I am so happy that they have shown me how they do business as I can avoid making a huge mistake with my company! * There was NO communication on my delayed orders and my billing and address was were up to date.
Hi Aimee - If we can not process an order for reasons like funds not available or a missing/incomplete address, we automatically alert you via email and the order is displayed in your error queue in your dashboard. The order you are referencing was processed on the 7th of this month. Its the 1st order using a new embroidery file so we paid to have that artfile digitized for embroidery. We ordered the hat on the 8th, it arrived on the 9th and was embroidered and shipped on the 10th. Please reference your CC, or shopify dashboard, for tracking because that order did ship last week. Our stated lead time is 2-3 business days but currently, our average fulfilment time is 1.5 business days.

This is the best choice for POD. I have used it for the past 2 years and feel good about it. Good products, affordable prices, stable service quality are one of the reasons I believe in.

CustomCat has quality dtg prints that looked great, something I would sell. The prints were a lot better than Printful's, but there delivery took 2-3 weeks to arrive. Printful's took 7 days, but the quality was poor and I would not sell what Printful sent me. In summary: Good dtg prints, really slow fulfillment.
Thank you, for the nice compliment on our DTG printing. My name is Mike Blotkamp and I reviewed your order history. The reason this order took longer than our current 1.9 business day average can be attributed to the size of the order but more importantly, one of the shirts in your 1st order did not pass our stringent QC stations so we ordered a new blank shirt and reprinted before shipping. We think its better to wait a few extra days compared to sending an item we dont feel is up to yours or our standards so we paid to remake one of the shirts before it ships. Had that shirt passed QC, your order would have shipped in less than 3 business days because all the other shirts pieces in your order were ready to ship when one did not pass QC. Our stated lead time is 2-3 business days but 90% of our orders do ship in less than 3 days. I just checked todays production report and over 4,000 orders shipped today with less than one business day in production!!! Pretty sweet indeed. I'm confident if you place 9 more orders, even with the 1st order taking longer than usual, your average lead time with CC will be 2-3 business days or less once you have at least 10 orders orders under your belt and can accurately draw a fair conclusion for average lead time. We also invested $18mm in 2019 into new equipment and built a 125,000 square foot addition for the busy holiday season. Even during the weeks leading up to Dec 25th, you should expect production will average less than 3 business days! Stick around and hopefully you can update the 2 star review after a few more orders to see our average lead time. Thanks, for choosing CustomCat!

This app is so amazing. it is so easy to use and variety items. CustomCat's print quality and price are better than other company. Fast shipping and good comunication. I would recommend this app to anyone getting started in POD.

I signed up with Custom Cat because of the reviews. Now I am beginning to regret it. 1st I ordered shirts for myself just to check out quality. I received 3 shirts, 1 of which should have NEVER passed quality control. The printing was TERRIBLE and looked like the printer was running out of ink. I sent multiple emails, newer received a reply, replacement or refund. I just ordered 2 more shirts which according to the app my store cost should have been $16 each, but I was charged a total of $42. Even with the additional shipping cost, my cost should not have been over $38. Prior to this, I have had orders rejected because the item was no longer in stock, but I was never notified and had to issue refunds. On another order for embroidery, I had to refund a cap, because my artwork could not be used for the logo, although I have used the same artwork for local embroidery. Not sure why there is a 4.5-star rating if Custom Cat is doing business like this. If you are using them for your store, you better double-check what you are being charged on your orders and definitely need to place a couple quality control orders to inspect what you are selling. When designing shirts with a front & back print, there is a $5 added cost for the second location print. We found no record of any inquiry from the May order you referenced for the shirt you felt was not up to quality. CustomCat does a Great Job, Really like the large inventory matched by the Quality of the products. Customer Service has a Personal Touch. ( Thanks for Coming through ) Tried a couple of other POD 's Really Satisfied with CustomCat

I don't recommend this company. I got some items for myself to check the quality and lets just say they suck! One shirt was blurry on the front, print on back was not lined up with base print to achieve the color, then faded after first wash. Second shirt about the same just front print was blown way up from what it should have been and the back was too small, as if they switched the sizes. After all that it took them a week just to ship my order and a week to get it, I paid them way too much for horrific service.

Product after product with issues. Colors nowhere close to submitted artwork, prints off center. 7 of 8 items on last order were flawed. Customer service is slow-to-non-existant. Made me jump through hoop after hoop and each time they admitted the print was sub par. Still argue about refunding me. No longer worth the effort. I only wish these reviews allows submission of photos to show the final products. I'm sure CC is thrilled thats not possible. Placed sample orders with Printful and the quality was night and day. The colors with printful were way more accurate and print location was spot on. Posted a blind comparison in the CC users forum and was removed from the forum. Beware before hitching your POD business to Custom Cat.

We've used many different POD suppliers on our stores - now that Custom Cat offers nearly everything that most other suppliers offer, we've moved all of it to them. Their customer service has been top notch, and the products turn out great. Every POD supplier we've used has issues now and then, but none of them have stood behind their products and services like Custom Cat has. Great Job Team!

I've used Custom Cat on numerous Shopify stores over the last few years. The first of which did over $700,000 in sales in 18 months. The team at Custom Cat is TOP NOTCH, and their quality and service are unparalleled in the industry. We're certainly happy to build another store, having them as our partners. The app is easy to use and I love how it automatically generates mockups.

i tried to use this but, that was a fail. I choose this app because of the amount of product it has. I was looking for more children items and athletic wear. This company has it but the creativity part is limited. If i have an idea i don't want to be limited to the amount of my creativity. If you are looking for a lot of product this app is good but limits your creativity.

Our app does not have a feature to create any designs or artwork, however there are plenty of companies and apps, help with creating designs that fit your needs. Those designs, combined with our products, can result in a very creative and unique item, to offer to your target audience. I have ordered 3 production apparel items and yet to have a good experience with them. Their product line is sub-par and the print quality is rather poor (you get what you pay for - cheap cheap). Printing is inconsistent and off register. Each order has taken 3-4 weeks.
