By far the worst fulfillment outfit I've ever used. If you don't care about the quality of the items you send your customers, feel free to use Custom Cat. If you don't care how long an item takes to get to your customer, then again, use Custom Cat. Your orders will take upwards of 2 weeks before you receive tracking info and then it will stay in pre-shipment mode for days after that. Once it does finally ship, it's a crap shoot as to weather the item will be of any quality. I originally put up a 1 star review about a week ago, but took it down after I received a call from Custom Cat thinking that they were interested in fixing the problem. (If you want anyone from Custom Cat to respond to any problems you might be having, write a bad review. They will call within hours. Other wise you wont hear back from them.) When I was having a problem I contacted them through email and phone numerous times. No response. Post a bad review they call right away. I regretted taking down the review after speaking with them. And I'll tell you why. What I got was a lot of lip service about how this is a really busy time of year and they have to hire extra help that isn't experienced, (which in itself is an issue) and that they are only human. There was no apology or acceptance of responsibility. I only placed 13 orders with Custom Cat and 2 of them that I know about, were of poor quality. That's a pretty high ratio. There could have been problems with the other 11 that I just didn't hear about. Not only was the quality of the work bad, it took 17 days to get tracking on many of them. I wish I could post a picture of what they sent to my customer. It was beyond unacceptable. The art work was not centered at all and was so far to the left the names fell off the edge of the substrate. The sample I had sent to myself was falling off the edge as well. I know "humans" make mistakes but, any normal person who saw how obviously off center these were would never have packed them up and sent them out, unless of course they just don’t care which is what I think the case it. After seeing how long shipping times were, before I even knew about the quality issues, I decided to buy my own equipment and fill my own orders. So I do know mistakes happen. After doing 1200+ units of my own, I have huge pile of mistakes, but I would never, ever have sent any of them to a paying customer!! My mistakes don't even come close to what they sent out in my name. If mine are even slightly off center they go in to the mistake pile. Custom Cat obviously doesn't care about my customers or me, as their customer. I had asked to have the money refunded for the known mistakes (over a weeks ago) and as of today's writing it still has not been refunded. I sent them a picture of how bad the quality was and expected a reasonable amount of remorse. Instead he was more concerned with the bad review that I had left, than he was about my problem. If someone had shown me a picture of what I showed him, I would have apologized profusely, and agree that, yes this is totally unacceptable and issued a refund with in minutes. Not give a bunch of excuses, "It's a busy time of year and we have inexperienced staff and that I have to understand that... blah, blah, blah" So basically he was saying, you can't blame us for bad quality, because it's out of our control because we are so busy. They took zero responsibility! Custom Cat, don't bother calling me again to beg me to take down my bad review this time. You have earned it! I will not take it down this time. My review stands! Have nice day!
There is a lot to unpack here, but I would caution you on this review. The main concern here was that we were taking 2 weeks to ship orders. In this case, there were a couple of orders that shipped in 5 business days. This is 2 days off our average of 2-3 business day fulfillment. These orders happened the week of Christmas so some orders may take a little longer. If there is ever an issue with orders taking too long, please email us on our support email and our amazing staff will get back to you within 24 hours.

The App is perfectly fine....It's the HUMAN's behind it causing problems. After placing a sample order on December 1, I am disappointed to report that on today, December 20th I received only the cap I ordered and my embroidered logo is ALL MESSED UP!! I ordered 2 polo's along with my logo-branded cap but they sent me 2 UGLY t-shirts with stupid looking cartoon-like drawings on them EVEN THOUGH I ORDERED 2 Polo's with my logo to be embroidered on them. I am a bit stunned, I must admit. I wish there were a way I could upload the pics I took of this mess. Now I must return this and wait for a refund.

First off Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to the awesome people working at CustomCat. I especially want to thank Mike for taking my call and fully educating me on the processes of print on demand. Mike listened very carefully to my questions and provided the answers in a very clear way. I am a graphic artist and new to the Print on Demand scene. I used to print via silk screen and used the post office as my shipping center. Fast forward to 2018 and thanks to CC, I can sit back and focus on designing artwork. With CC's affordable product prices and affordable shipping costs, I can now get rid of my warehouse and printing supplies. As a graphic artist this is the ultimate experience; all I have to do is draw, upload and let my marketing skills and CC do the rest. The value of my time being free to draw verses shopping for supplies and setting up the screens is definitely worth the monthly premium. Thanks again CC for doing the hard work and offering very low prices for the service.

Just had an 'introductory' conversation with Mike. He was patient (very important) and very thorough in making sure I understood how to navigate the CustomCat dashboard. Mike made sure I watch their training videos in Shopify to make sure I understand all the variables involved in Print on Demand. This is one of the worst services I've ever used, the production time is too long, I have ordered from December 3rd to December 17th I have not received an order tracking code, and do not know when it is received, the shipping rate is broken and too much confusion, poor printing quality, bad design interface, unfriendly interface, long customer response time, faulty printing, cut text, excessive blurring and inaccuracy of the original design position, no refund policy for the customer, lost in transit but not refundable, if possible I will give 0.001 stars. Too disappointed

UPDATE: Only getting worse = Handling times have become excessive, with no explanation. Orders have taken Over 21 days and counting in fulfillment, won't allow cancellation of these orders, even though they are well overdue, but will tell you it's your responsibility, as you didn't pause the order before it started processing. Catch 22, The orders start fulfillment within a couple of hours of you ordering, so after that, there is no way to cancel, change or amend an order. After discussing with other CC long term users via social groups, I have found i Am not the only one with these issues, a number of users are seeing a decline in quality of service offered by them. Customer service is much less active, not all you messages will get a reply and no very accommodating when it comes to problems. Custom Cat used to be a great POD company, however recently they have been ignoring users issues. You can no longer receive returns if an item isn't delivered. You can't cancel orders, or when you try, they are still sent out and you will be charged. Address changes have now been limited to the original country. ------------------------- I have been using CC for almost 3 years and was happy until now. Since they have been making these changes (Late 2018), i have had to eat up over $200 in charges for items i cancelled, but were re processed and sent out. and now another order which i tried to change the address on, within a few hours, but got an email back saying they cant change the address so the items will be sent anyway. (Not very helpful) and the items will now be posted to no where, for me to pay another $45 to do so. (I gave an alternate address, but told they won't change it.) Very unfortunate as they were doing so well. Just make sure you know their new policies, as you may find your cashflow, and profits being eaten up by order errors like these. On the good side, they do produce good quality items and have a good selection of products to choose from, just a shame about the their recent customer service and lack of help on these issues.

I love their products and they really work on behalf of their customers. I do think their design lab is not as easy to use as others but their product line is amazing!!

Customization is extremely limited. Prices are okay for Canadians but I would prefer more customization and better mockups.

CustomCat really works very badly. An order of more than 1 month does not ship. When contacting support is only answered through the loudspeaker, there is no responsibility. Continuing to ship orders but after more than a week still not shipping orders. In addition, continually deduct 2 times for each order while the system records once, asking support is shirking responsibility. Indeed, CustomCat is too bad, too disappointing about how it works and supported.

I had a customer order a product from me but then cancelled 6 hours later. I tried to cancel the order with CustomCat but it was too late. It was not their fault, they're just fast at their jobs. Believe me, that is not a bad thing...especially this time of year. One of their Account Managers called me back and helped me fix the issue. Being a new store and not selling very many shirts through them I thought I might just be written off, but they treated me with respect as if I were a big customer. That says a lot to me about how they value their customers....all of their customers. If you're looking for a print on demand vendor, I would highly recommend giving them a chance.

Update: Company stating it was our design rather than their quality standards. These same designs have been printed by several other print partners with no lack of quality. Customcat misprinted each item and the embroidery was pathetic. The replacement order had new issues that the first did not. Double printing our logo in one location is not an issue with our design as they say. We followed the exact positioning guidelines & yet this issue still occurred. If they had any quality control process in place these inconsistencies would have been caught prior to shipping. If opaque areas of our design were an issue, AGAIN quality control could have flagged this prior to printing. This could've been as simple as contacting the customer to give them an opportunity to modify their design. If we could add pictures we would. Placing the blame on the customer is ridiculous. Own your faults so you can fix/prevent this going forward. Buy a new embroidery machine, the one you have results in blocky childlike handwriting. Unbelievable that you can stand behind what you produce. __________Original Review Below__________ Placed a sample order before launching products on my store. The order took nearly a month to arrive! The print quality is awful. They must not check their products before shipping them to customers. The embroidery on the hat looked like a child's handwriting. The DTG shirts both came out botched. One had a misprinted line outside of the design area & the other duplicated the logo. You would think maybe this is a onetime flaw? No, they sent a reorder and it was just as bad, worse even. Both shirts had printing flaws in the same location as the first order and additional locations. The hat came out just as hideous as the first one. Absolutely terrible. So glad we didn't trust this company with our customer orders. We've had the same designs embroidered, printed & fulfilled by Printful & Printaura. The work by Printful & Printaura is flawless everytime. I cannot believe the lack of quality that Customcat produces. Why Shopify endorses them is beyond me. I would not use this company again if I was paid to. I don't recommend using this company to dropship your designs. If your customers receive the quality we did you will lose that customer guaranteed.
Hi. I am sorry you did not enjoy your experience with us. Just as we discussed on the phone before you left this review, this was not an issue with CustomCat, but rather your design that you submitted to us. We explained to you not to use opacity in designs you are offering on the performance / 100% polyester. We also discussed your decision to use custom placement and positioning the art as opposed to leaving the positioning is standard default or choosing left chest default. If you are in the 2% of CC users who deviate from the standard location by telling the system to print in the “ custom position”, then you run the risk of it being different than the 20,000+ other shirts that ship on a daily bases who use the default, or standard print location ( not custom positioning).

Good guys. Their customer support is on top of things so if you do have an issue they've always been very helpful. Their prices are much better as well.

I decided to start with Customcat being that I felt they had the product availability that fit my vision best. Like the last 2 reviews it hasn't been the best experience. I've got 2 orders I processed as a test that have been waiting to be fulfilled for 5 days now. To be fair I processed these the day after Thanksgiving so I'm really hoping the delay is due to holiday processing and not a regular thing. What is disappointing however is the service. I've been trying to reach these guys via the contact phone number which constantly rings then goes silent/hang up. No answer No voicemail. I went the email route for help and did get a response within 48 hours which was nice to see however the response did not address my specific question regarding the order sitting in pending status. The fulfillment instructions have been followed so I'm still unclear as to whether my order is in limbo and requires a fix on my end or if there is an issue on theirs. This really shakes my confidence in these guys if I have an issue that arises with a customer. I'm not ready to trash the app just yet because I've yet to find a POD app that rivals their products for what I want to do, but thought I'd add my experience thus far as a new user that I wish I had set up a test with just one product before taking the time to build out the majority of my store using their SKUs. Lesson learned.

Absolutely awesome company and app!!! Great products, great support, and great prices. It is nice to work with a company that is continually providing excellent service with great prices and fulfillment procedures. I give this company and app my highest rating and recommendation!!!

CustomCat is the quintessential print on demand app for your drop shipping business! Their customer service is the best and rarely will you find customer service representatives that you'd remember by name just from how awesome they are at their job. If you ever have any problems with your orders, just shoot them an email and it will be quickly solved. Even in tough situations, they will be by your side. Their products are excellent. The most beautiful products are their dye sublimation items such as Mugs. DTG printing is above average but that's because DTG printing is still a progressing technology. Don't get me wrong though, the printing they provide is sometimes too good to be true when you consider that it is DTG. Once again, if there are ever any problems in your print order, CC will quickly rectify it and send your customer a free replacement. All you have to do is be like CC, provide excellent customer service and all will be well. CC is also always evolving, always expanding their catalogue of products and always improving the app and quality of items. Try them out if you're already using other print on demand apps. I'm sure they will be better than all your other apps. Heck you can just use them along with your other apps. All in all, you'll be making a great decision for your business when partnering with Customcat.
