We LOVE this app and used it on multiple stores effortlessly. It's the best choice to connect Mailchimp and Shopify. No need to look any further: this is your (FREE!) solution!

I use this app to send out welcome letters to my subscribers and it’s never sync. Out of about 50 subscribers only 4 emails went out. To me it’s no point in having the app
Hi there, thank you for the feedback. We saw your review and it sounds like you may have some confusion around with what our app does vs. Mailchimp's core features. ShopSync is a tool that sends customer information from your Shopify store to Mailchimp (and vice versa). The app transfers and syncs customer, order and product information between the two platforms. You will still use Mailchimp for all your campaigns, automations, pop-ups and ads. To be clear, we don't send any kind of campaigns or automations through ShopSync; we're just the mechanism that gets information to Mailchimp from your store. Super bummed about MailChimp & Shopify parting ways, but ShopSync came to the rescue. We have a lot of data, so it was a bit slow, but I'm not complaining. Working like a dream. Thanks

The ShopSync app works wonderfully to connect my customers, products & discounts to my MailChimp account. It was easy to install and only took seconds to setup. Highly recommended.

since I used this app I have never had so many abuse reports and unsubscrivers, as well as many fake emails that did not appear on my list before ... at this point it is better to abandon mailchimp to find something more integrated. very sad Samuel

Just used this app since Shopify no longer works with MailChimp and the transition was super easy and free. Shopify recommended some apps but, all of them costs. With a small store like mine, I couldn't see spending money on another app. Thanks ShopSync!

This app does not sync automations or cart recovery campaigns. Also if you had a mulit-email cart workflow setup it will not transfer over and you will be prompted to upgrade your account to send more than 1 cart recovery email. The price is $14.99 a month. This whole thing where mailchimp no longer syncs to shopify was just a con set up to switch the free accounts over to paid accounts. You will still get some features with a free account but the most valuable aspects of the old free account will no longer work unless you pay up. Please be aware of this BEFORE you use this 3rd party app. Just another business squeezing small business owners for another dime.

All automations and pop-up configuration is still handled in your Mailchimp dashboard business as usual; we only send data to your audience. Also, you mention a cost of $14.99 for our app. That's not accurate. Our app is free, and we have no paid plans at this time. We may have an (optional) plan in the future for paid support options, but there is nothing in place at this time. The integration didn't go smoothly for us. It imported a long list of unknown subscribers to our list, which (after we resume our automation) received Welcome message, triggering many unsubscriptions, and leading to a warning from Mailchimp thinking we were spamming. ShopSync explained to us that it may have been that MailChimp's old app failed to import them. Fast, friendly and helpful customer support!

This app deserves the 5 stars. At no cost it provided an easy fix to the broken link between MailChimp and Shopify. Thanks again. I see that ShopSync replies to reviews farily often, I hope their support team replies as fast as with reviews, if there's any support needed. Currently, there's no support needed, because the app works like a charm. Thanks again.

After the original MC for Shopify app was retired, I got a recommendation from the MC support to install ShopSync. The Installation process was easy and to the point, and the app itself seems better designed than the original app. I haven't had a sale since installation yet, but All previous data have been imported to MC.

I know it's free. I know mailchimp told me to install it. Still not exactly sure what it does??? Also can't figure out how to sync more than 1 email list. Also I just discovered that the sync somehow added an additional 1300+ emails to my list? where did these come from? Now I'm over the free limit and my list is friggin' useless.

All automations and pop-up configuration is still handled in your Mailchimp dashboard business as usual; we just send data to the list you choose. At this time, you can only send to one Mailchimp list or audience. However, you may use segments, groups, and tags in Mailchimp to organize your subscriber base. So far so good. Easy to install and sync up with MailChimp! I emailed with a question and they got back to me within a couple of hours.

Honestly, I couldn't expect anything more from an app. It worked exactly as promised, I received excellent email support when I had dumb questions, and it's free. 5 stars, easy.

So far so good! The change over took a few hours with our large list but we didn't have any initial problems with automated messages etc after carefully following the instructions.

ShopSync made the transition from MailChimp for Shopify to simply continuing using MailChimp for my email marketing needs such a smooth experience. I felt like I didn't skip a beat!

Thank goodness for ShopSync! Followed the instructions and setup all went very smoothly. Just 4 days in so far but it is syncing everything as promised. This wonderful app has eased my anger toward Shopify but I have not forgotten the stress it caused.
