I recently had the chance to use this app, but my experience was far from satisfactory. One major issue I encountered is the company behind the app. Unfortunately, they seem to lack transparency and reliability in their customer engagement. A particular area of concern is the invoices sent out to customers. I strongly advise anyone using this app to double-check the invoices you receive—they may contain discrepancies. This lack of attention to detail and clear communication leaves a lot to be desired. While the app itself might serve its purpose in some respects, the poor customer management practices overshadow its potential. It's disappointing to encounter such a lack of accountability. For anyone considering this app, proceed with caution, and ensure you keep an eye on your billing details. Transparency and reliability are crucial, and sadly this company falls short.

Very bad support. Very slow responses. I had a technical issue and waited more than two days, and still, no one assisted.

Don't know if app works actually. I installed it but didn't even activate any functionality (app not working actually, not fully installed, neither with the access to the information it needed) and even though, charges where made. Customer success does not exist, and when we escalated to the app team, the answer was some kind of "terms and conditions were clear, you didn't use it, there is nothing I can do, and we will not refund anything, even if you didn't fully install the app". After all, we build most of the functionality the app promised from our side with the check out extensibility (I dont know if better of worst than the app, I didn't even used it!)

need plus plan to edit checkout!! very bad
Hi 👋 I’m sorry to hear that you're disappointed about not being able to add upsells at checkout without a Shopify Plus plan. Unfortunately, this limitation is set by Shopify, not ReConvert, as Shopify only allows upsell options at checkout for Shopify Plus customers. This restriction applies to all upsell apps across the platform. While I wish there was more we could do, this is something that is beyond our control. App is not working with new Stripe update, but ReConvert does not know about it and will just keep you busy without any further help. Constantly received wrong information and then someone else from the team would advise the complete opposite. Confusing communication, very disappointing considering you spend hours setting everything up and they are not able to tell you what the problem is after days and then another app just tells you it is because of stripe within 2 minutes. Total waste of my time the past week

Stupidly expensive app. Taking money not just on the orders created through post-purchase but based on your stores own hard earned orders is unfair. This app resulted in 2 extra small discounted orders totalling $28 but charged $80 because our store has many unrelated orders. Stay clear! Looking at a few of their 5 star reviews they seem fake. Stay clear this app is a scam

Molto pessima come app. Non funzionale e assistenza al quanto discutibile. inoltre alla richiesta di rimborso per addebiti non dovuti si nascondo dicendo che l'app non era correttamente disinstallata. Piccolo particolare, pure la fatture riportano la dicitura "app disinstallata". Una stella forse è troppo

What a joke. Just for having the app installed, and NOT active, on your site, you will be charged over $5 a month. I have been charged for this app for half a year even though it sat inactive and unused on my store. When I asked for support with the issue their reply was "But our pricing plan clearly states that in order to not be charged you will need to uninstall the app." I have multiple stores that have earned this app thousands of dollars. What an absolute joke. 1 star. Deserved. Uninstalling on all my stores.

consistently puts the wrong order in your shipping program and costs you a fortune shipping wrong items. Not happy with this at all. Over time we get more complaints about the constant popups trying to upsell. I have replied multiple times and you have not responded. Your support is horrible id you can't even receive an email and it's not my obligation to fix your app.

Don't waste your money; this app won't better your business but will take your money from your hard work in achieving your sales. This app has taken money out of my accounts without authorization, approximately $1600, as they have done to other businesses according to the reviews. They are very sly, and I have read in a review here that they changed their free plans by giving only one day's notice. They claim I have been using the app, yet I have screenshots proving they never had access to my customer data, which is essential for the app to function correctly. The app was disconnected after the free trial because it didn't bring any extra sales whatsoever. Yet, they continued to take money from sales they did not contribute to in any way.

Do not recommend By installing the app you agree to let the company charge you for orders that they have not contributed to by increasing their payment tier, and will then charge you for orders they have generated on top of this in commission. Example: If your the amount of STORE orders goes above the $4.99 monthly fee you will be charged for the next package up whether the app has created any upsell purchases or not. If it does you will also be charged commission on those upsell purchases. They seem to think they have the right to a higher portion of your profits just for having the app merely appear on your post purchase thank you page even if customers don't buy anything extra from it.

Not shopify plus,the use of functionality is very restricted,whether or not the orders traded through this app are charged a monthly basic service fee,compared to other apps of the same type of upsell to be a lot more expensive,do not recommend!

On Sunday, you inform users of the free plan that they will have to start paying from Monday onwards. While there's no issue with the payment itself, informing business owners on a Sunday that they will be automatically transitioned to a paid plan the following business day seems a bit... sudden? Trust destroyed.

I had been a long-time user of the ReConvert App. However, several months ago the App was updated and I had to reconfigure my setup. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the new configuration to work properly and reached out to support. Whilst the team was pleasant, nobody seemed to want to take any responsibility. I was given links to confusing instructions and was in a continuous loop trying to get support, being told someone was working on my case, never hearing anything, and following up. I supplied a detailed plan of what I was trying to achieve and was told someone would configure it for me. It never happened. Months of more follow-up passed until one of the managers stepped in to apologise. He asked what he could do to turn my experience around so I told him I just wanted the App to work as it had before the update. When I never got a response, I followed up...then I gave up! I've since uninstalled ReConvert and moved to a new App which is much more user-friendly. As such, I've edited my original 5-star review to 1-star to reflect my terrible experience that cost me Christmas sales.

Your Idea of ROI from using your app is insane, you think because our store generates money on its own that you can take credit for all conversions except you only count for less than .001 percent of those conversions. also, most people clicked on the upsell by accident, and then we returned those purchases and still lost money by being charged by your app. It's pretty trash don't waste your time there are other ways to upsell. Too Expensive for the actual money it brings in.

OH and they hound you for a review (in-app) most likely to curate/stop the bad reviews so they never end up here where they matter. Im smarter than that so you want a review so badly, cool, I'll post it here manually. Pricing is way too much. Their "funnel monster" expects you to give 30% off by default. Might be good for cheap small items. Beware of there success rate claiming high ROI. We had 2 customers call trying to cancel the item they were upsold due to misleading button placement. 9 offers accepted and I have made maybe $10 after shipping costs, app costs etc. Also I get charged for all orders I earned?? Not ones that you were actually effective in getting an upsale!? NO!!!!! Ive had this less than a month! Oh trail is also crap because it automatically goes to a paid plan after you exceed the "free trail order limit" Unbiased review and had high hopes for this app, but its not going well. I would not recommend.

J'ai voulu mettre l'application et depuis je n'ai plus de popup panier. Du coup impossible pour les gens de faire une conversion. Ne mettez surtout pas cette application. I wanted to put the application and since I have no more popup cart. So it's impossible for people to make a conversion. Do not put this application.
