**Latest Update** Well the lead dev/co-founder has been very difficult to communicate with. But these guys have made their analytics section 10x's better since I spoke up. So I need to give credit where credit is due. They deserve it. But we are also having trouble with email's not being sent....a bunch of our customers aren't getting appstle's emails and sure enough the tests are returning errors....they have no solution for it. Its a very buggy application, and the devs don't like to admit ANY fault and can be difficult to deal with. Their reviews are fake....check the other 1 star reviews to see the real situation, here. I really hope we can find a way to move off the app before we get to big. The absolute worst analytics section i've ever seen. English isn't the first language of their UI devs so the definitions of the features make no sense at all.... and they clearly have no experience running subscription models - they are missing every crucial piece of data that we need - its seriously the worst analytics section i've seen in 8 years...it shows nothing of use and is missing everything we need. It doesn't even show a real churn rate...its a different calculation that no one would ever use or need. It doesn't show total revenue generated. And it doesn't show any approval rates. I'm telling you guys.....its like these people have ZERO experience with the subscription model. I am beyond frustrated because we built our entire store into this thing. The support is fast and that's the only reason this isn't a 1 star. The widget on the site breaks all the time and every time we list a new product, we have to ask their devs to fix their widget....and they NEVER do it right the first time and we have to point out their mistakes over and over and over - this has happened 3 times now and each time they promise to fix it.... and of course, they do nothing. This app is so disappointing. Unless they fix their analytics, there is no way for us to scale on this. It really sucks.
Hello. This is Hemant, the co-founder and CTO of Appstle. I am an ex-Apple Siri Staff Engineer and one of my focus areas was analytics. Sharing what I mentioned on our call, our analytics definition and formulas adhere to common parlance, as well and other app benchmarks. If we change the metric formula per your request alone, it will affect our 20,000+ other merchants. We still added a new and unique metric based on your store’s needs and preferred input variables, and unfortunately, beyond that, we will not able to change the label of our existing metric. As regards the widget, our investigation showed that your store was using 2 different templates for 2 different products. Our team was not privy to this critical information and hence we configured widget based on just one template. Let us know if we can help you in any other way. Staff were very friendly and attentive with helping me integrate the app onto my store. They go out of their way to help teach me how it all works and how to manage the app on my own. So far everything looks great and i look forward to partnering with them for a long time.

Appstle is a great solution to drive sustainable, predictable and reliable cash flows. The solutions are relevant, cutting-edge and revolutionary. The support from champions like Nandita, Mohammed Awais, and Josh Iglesias is remarkable. We did a live chat with Nandita and she went out of her way to understand our needs and appropriately solution them. She then arranged for a follow-up call with Mohammed Awais, who, like Nandita, went out of his way to ensure that every request was honored! As you'd expect, Appstle has many customers; however, Nandita, Josh and Mohammed Awais made us feel like their only customer! We would strongly recommend Appstle to any Entrepreneur of any size business.

We migrated our subscriptions to Appstle from another subscription app for more functionality. We have not billed our first round of subscriptions yet, but so far so good, and the options for customizing are extensive. I cannot say enough good things about the support! Muhammad and his team answered my many questions with patience (I had a lot) and in a timely manner. This was my main reason for choosing Appstle. Thanks!

The app is easy to use, and their customer service is great. Speedy responses with in-depth explanations and videos on how to fix things, which comes in handy for someone like me who's not great at tech!

I've tried many apps, and they've been really helpful! I don't understand how they're available all the time and so nice, fixing everything I need! The system itself is great. I wish I could give them 100 stars if I could!

Appstle's Subscription App is easy to implement, has a ton of customization and data available even on the lower plans, and offers quick and personalized support. From the customer side, they find it easy to understand and manage their subscriptions. For us, that's a 5-star app!

Having used a lot of different Shopify apps over the years the support we have received from the Appstle team is by far the best. Their apps are full featured, well thought out, high functioning, powerful and user friendly. No matter the time of the day or night there is always someone available for tech support. We couldn't be happier with them.

Getting set up and everything seems pretty straightforward. I had a bit of trouble customizing my widget to match my theme, but Nayyab and Hasnain were so helpful. They were very patient and kind and set everything up for me just how I wanted it. Great team behind what seems to be a great app!

Great customer service, I had a few issues but they were able to assist me through live chat with pictures and videos. They were responsive and extremely helpful. I was very impressed with the level of customer service they have through live chat

Had to remove the app, installed it for about 1 hour, try to fix a shipping issue (the product was for $0 of shipping in shopify, but the app added a shipping cost of $12 for no reason). Impossible to reach anyone from the US or Canada via customer service, all coming from India. Their english was really bad, and not only did they not solve the issue, but made everything worse. There's so many apps for subscription our there, do yourself a service a choose another. At least you might have a shot at minimally good customer service, and not too many is
Hello. This is Ria, the co-founder of Appstle. I went through your chats with the team. As our Merchant Success Engineer as well as her Manager mentioned in the chats and the custom video guide that she made for your store, your shipping rate was coming from your Shopify shipping profile itself. In fact, that’s why the one-time purchase shipping price and subscription shipping price was exactly the same. Since your one time purchase shipping was $12, for order values below a certain threshold, the same applied to subscriptions too. Let me assure you that no other Shopify native or Shopify compatible subscription app would be able to help you here, unless the shipping profile is created on the app side (which the Manager explained in the video she made). I went over the loom my teammate shared and it was very well-explanatory. And no, shipping on checkout page is not calculated based on IP address. It’s based on the shipping address you enter. As for the location of the team, we are a California based company HQed in Menlo Park. We provide 24x7 support for merchants by having support team across geographies and timezones. Since, your ticket came in at 8 PM PST (outside work hours in the California), it was handled by our team in Asia. I personally did not see any communication or language issues in your chat or video, as our entire team across geographies are native English speakers. Please dont hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected] if you have any other questions.In fact, I am sharing it here so that others can decide it on their own.
