This app is the best. Not sure why other people are giving it 1 star, we are sure previous reviewers missed something because this might be one of the best free apps out there. We used to pay for such a service before we found this app

App never worked. its literally an app with a blank screen. coding was still left on my website after I deleted it. don't get it!

There is an easy fix if you encountered issues when installing the tawk.to chat widget on your Shopify dashboard. Follow the steps below to install the chat widget: 1. Clear your browser and cookies. 2. Log in to your Shopify dashboard. 3. Then visit https://apps.shopify.com/tawk-to. 4. Click the Add app button for the tawk.to app. 5. Select the green Install app button to continue. You'll then be prompted to log in to your tawk.to account and accept a permission request from Shopify. 6. Then log in to your tawk.to account from the tawk.to app in your Shopify dashboard and choose the property and widget you would like to add to your site. The widget will be added to all pages of your Shopify site. If you wish to uninstall the app manually from your site, follow the steps below: (Note that this guide uses the "Basic Liquid Theme - Debut" as an example. If you have a different theme and you don't have theme.liquid file, please refer to your theme's developer where you can find or try to look for footer.liquid.") 1.) Go to your Shopify Dashboard, Click "Online Store" - See screenshot: https://prnt.sc/oj1s19 2.) Click "Action" > then "Edit Code" - See screenshot: https://prnt.sc/oj1tg7 3.) In "Layout" > click "theme.liquid" file > scroll to the bottom and you'll see the tag. See screenshot: https://prnt.sc/oj1v0s. I installed the app, the widget never worked. I asked them to remove it from my site. They never managed to do it. They had more than two weeks and not 1 reply. Now Im building a new website.

Great app to use for the shopify community. I highly recommend this app and planning to use this app for all other businesses. **Please note- I would really appreciate if the branding can be removed from the chat widget. Is it possible to Show my Company name and Logo in the chat widget? Btw I applied for partnering with Taw.to. Awesome App. Seamless integration. Really easy way to engage with new customers and answer their queries, provide reassurance in this Covid challenged world and as an online gift store, provide some of the personal service and interaction normally only available to brick and mortar stores. For free it's a great app with lots of functions. However, I've had an issue arise and even two weeks later I'm struggling to get a response. The support specialists can't offer a time frame and I feel like they don't particularly care about the issue. Update. It's now 7/09/20. I opened case on 28/06/20 and I still don't have a response. I am still getting no help when asking how long it will take for a response. My issue is related to the scheduler not turning on and off when it's supposed to meaning that people are expecting chats when I'm not online and getting annoyed when no one is responding. I'm wondering if they're waiting for the UK time change??! Yes the option is there to do it manually but that is ensuring that you remember to turn it on and off when necessary. It's frustrating that there is an option to schedule online and offline hours but it doesn't work.

The Scheduler allows you to manage the operating days and times of the widget. Its purpose is to make the widget go offline, even if there are Agents logged in. For example, let's say you’ve scheduled your widget to appear online from 9 AM - 5 PM. If you log in before 9 AM, you will not receive chats and your visitor will get the offline form. The same thing happens when the clock hits 5 PM. Even if there are agents online, the widget is forced to go offline. the app its self is a nice idea but need lots of work no multilingual buy exemple and other stuff that dont really works whit shopify stores . soscartouches.ca

Underrated, way better than trash apps like Tidio. Download this and you won't regret it, I'm saying that after trying EVERY live chant option available out there including apps on & off the Shopify app store. And here I am, settling with tawk.to after wasting loads of $$ on other apps.

An excellent onsite chat tool and the free plan is all we ever needed. The interface is a little messy, but there's lots of options. I wish you could better customize the onscreen icon, but that's minor. Likes: good mobile app, customized notifications, easy to see customer site journey during chat. We moved to Gorgias to bring all channels into a single view, but are considering going back to Tawk.to for chat only because it's much better.

This app is free! FREE! The capabilities you have on this live chat considering it's FREE is immense. Support is fantastic. You can customise the widget incredibly easily. I wouldn't not recommend this app - there's also a free app for your phone so you can leave the computer and not have to worry about missing your customers.

Excellent app! and is free with the "powered by talk". Many features. I have used other chat app and is incredible is free.
