Absolutely terrible customer service. We found out after we set it up that no coupons were sent as rewards. We contacted the support, they told us its turned off, we sent screenshot as a proof that its not, they tell us we must have turned it on just now. Yeah right... So we want to make test review, they tell us to upload review that matches conditions and reward will be sent. So we do that, no coupon is sent. Now they tell us its because it was done manually not automatically. Which nobody mentioned before. So I guess the only option is to wait and pray, and if it won't work this time, again somebody will tell me that we must have turned it off. Actually I should have just uninstalled it and use solution from other company. I wouldnt have wasted so much time and energy with these guys....

It is strange that everyone writes only positive reviews. So the Application slowed down my site by 6 points, and is also it not completely deleted!!! and stays viral on your Shopify account. After the deletion, I had to manually delete their pages (which remained), but their tabs remained directly in the main menu of my Shopify account, in the Marketing section (Judge.me review site referral, Judge.me coupon reward email, Judge.me initial review request ). And the most interesting thing is that the Judge.me support service, answers that it is impossible to remove it!!! I will write to Shopify support and find out how to permanently remove this virus program.

To address your concerns: 1) Our app is optimized for page load speed (loading review widget from Shopify metafield, for example) so am surprised to hear you saw any negative impact. Please reach out to our support with more details, our devs will have a look. 2) If you need any help with code removal, our 24/7 support team is available to assist. After app uninstall we lose theme API access and some things can't indeed be automated anymore then. 3) The marketing events in Shopify admin reports show up automatically and it's not something apps have control over. Now that the app is no longer installed and no more events will trigger, the Judge.me events will disappear from your reports soon. Hope that helps! Verdict: If you rely on channels beyond email for collecting real customer reviews, Judge.me is no longer the right solution. We are extremely disappointed with Judge.me’s recent decision to stop verifying imported reviews. Our primary review sources are WhatsApp, which help us collect far more authentic customer feedback than email alone. By only allowing email verification, Judge.me has made verified reviews almost useless for us. From a customer’s perspective, reviews without proper verification risk looking fake, which directly hurts brand credibility. This completely defeats the purpose of using Judge.me in the first place, the platform was supposed to help us build trust through verified reviews, not take that away. We’ve already started exploring alternative platforms that actually support multiple review sources with proper verification. Unless Judge.me reconsiders this decision or introduces whatsapp verification, we will unsubscribe very soon.

UPDATE 8/11/25: I cannot recommend this app. They just want your money, but don't actually want to solve your problems. UPDATE 7/30/24: I started out my initial run with them with a 5 star review. But after getting used to the software and dealing with customer support, I had to downgrade the review to a (generous) 3 star. My last interaction with customer support left me in awe to the level of passive aggressive indifference someone can get away with. The software hasn't change all that much in the time since I first started, although their rigid adherence to their interpretation of the CRFA leaves no room for gray area when it comes to legitimate concerns. I understand that all apps have changed their software to adhere to the CRFA guidelines, but Judge.me doesn't understand nuance. ---- I use this app to obtain reviews for my products and store, it's helpful to be able to import reviews from other sources, and now I can send out emails and posts for customers to review our shop directly on Judge.me and syncs with our store.

Stay clear of the Live Chat rep called Dang. He cant understand english and it took me 3 times to explain the troubles I was having with the judge.me app - not good at all!

We have since updated our menus and flows to be more consistent with Shopify, and our design team is currently working on a deeper overhaul so that our admin pages are simpler and more user-friendly. the fact that judge.me doesn't allow in-email reviews of multiple items at a time, and rather requires reviewers to click on separate buttons of each item in the email is wayyyyyy too much friction. also, requiring buyers to leave a title and review, rather than just stars and having the other fields optional, is another source of friction. it's unfortunate because judge.me integrates with my accordian tabs app, but the reviews emails are just way too messy.

Update mid-2024: Still the same issues after 3 years. I have been using this app for almost 3 years now, it is good for stores with only one language but it seriously lacks multilingual features: - product names are not translated (in both email and widgets) - product urls are not translated (in both email and widgets) - shop urls are not translated (in both email and widgets) - coupon email is not translatable - verify email is not translatable - reviews can not be translated Shopify Multilingual APIs have been released almost 4 years ago. It is definetely time to upgrade this app to support these APIs completely or we will continue to loose potential reviews or also sales (from coupon email because they are not translated, but they are only on the main language). For example, if I send you a request review email in French, and the customer sees the English product title, you are obviously getting zero reviews... this is crazy after so many years and after all the money I gave for this app!

Update 3.1.2021 this app continues to be a problem. I have contacted support because of unused Javascript on my website. Support again has failed to help. I am removing this horrible app from my store. Support is terrible! This app is a rip off! I have tried using this app for the last 3 months and I am not happy at all. Chat support is not helpful. The google review feed data is not correct, google emails me weekly that my review feed data is WRONG. It is missing the brand name, and all product sku's are sent incorrectly. I have sent many messages, without any resolution to my problem. Not to mention, I am not even able to upload reviews manually CSV or XLS. This a waste of $15 a month!

I would not recommend that app, after trying that for 5 days I decided to delete it and ask to support to delete the code into my store. The design of the website is totally destroyed and the support told me they cannot delete some of them files in my store because they don't have the permission and asked me to double check everything. Bad support service

Had this app for over a year and it only collected 13 reviews a year ago and no more. I upgraded to $15 a month. Still no more reviews collected via this app. All my customers went directly to my website and left their reviews directly. Just a terrible app.

We looked into your situation and noticed the following: - The review request emails we sent had a 50% open ratio and 10% click ratio - Buyers who clicked our emails ordered 5 more times at your shop - You used our multi reviews template, so reviews were left on the product page rather than via email - There must have been an issue on your page, potentially having another review app installed on the product page or some other conflict. Our support team has reached out to discuss the issue further privately. We can make this right and look forward to doing so. Our software is very effective and something went wrong here, which we understand is very frustrating.

Just skip this app Please. I downloaded this app and had some codes left over so asked for the team to help me, when they finally decided to help me my product page was broken after they deleted the codes apparently. i had a copy of my theme and i saw that they made changes to my original theme without telling me . :(( i compared all the changes if you no experience of coding you can be scammed easily. I was really trusting them because the team is very sweet and talks very nicely. :( So basically dont try this app

If you want to allow customers to submit photo they charge $15, that's totally way too expensive based on option they offer. This app totally not worth the price $15, while shopify plan is $29 they charge for this useless app $15/month

After you uninstall our app we lose the API access to your store and we are not able to automatically remove the code from your theme (this happens with every Shopify app). I uninstalled this app completely, and installed another only to find this app still had all the coding still imbedded in my design. Ridiculous, i had to go through my code and delete all their coding, and i'm not a tech whiz either! Would not recommend.

Unfortunately we lose API access the moment you uninstall our app, so we can't automate code removal in your theme files (nor can any other Shopify app). What we do instead is remove the code for you via staff account, and our support is ready 24/7 to do so. UPDATE: 3/17/2024 I've been using this app since 2020, not sure why its showing differently. Anyway, yesterday I had a small issue that required me to contact support yesterday. While that got resolved, I asked if they would look at my settings to see if there is anything they recommend. They noticed my email to remind customers that their discount code for leaving a review was turned off. I spent the time to design the email and turned it on and immediately got email after email (copies of the emails customers received) and the same problem I posted about 4 years ago persists!) Each review a customer leaves ( I had my emails set to show up to 6 products per order) and if they leave a review for all 6 products, they receive SIX different emails thanking them. AND another SIX emails reminding them that each of the discount codes will be expiring. Irresponsible email marketing for sure. Knowing this, I have only one option, to limit the customer to only one review so that Judge.me stops SPAMMING my customers. So frustrated. Outsourced customer service suggested I get a different app. While I love this app for many reasons, I can't overcome this issue which is HUGE! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update: My customers are being spammed by Judge.me My review requests are set up to allow customers to leave multiple reviews for in their order (in my best interest as the seller because I can get several different product reviews from one customers order. Obviously) Today, Judge.me sent three different discount codes to the same customer. One for EVERY review they left...instead of one email with one discount code, the customer got bombarded with several emails and several different codes (NOT GOOD FOR ME!) I contacted customer service to see what I did wrong. They said they don't currently have a way to stop this from happening but I can suggest it by sending an email to https://judgeme.featureupvote.com/ this should be done automatically by customer service when a customer encounters an issue. We all know how limited our time is. I've lowered my review from 5 stars down to 1 because of this issue. The app seems to be working perfectly in all other ways but this a huge issue SPAMMING customers is a sure way to leave a bad impression! I'll adjust my star review when this issue is fixed. My only other option is to limit customers to one review per order. This customer left three reviews for their order so we can clearly see, we want the customer to be able to leave reviews for multiple items in their order, just don't want them to be spammed. One discount code per order is perfectly acceptable and likely expected by the customer to receive a single reward in this case as well. ________________________________________________________________________________ ORIGINAL REVIEW: I'm super happy I switched from another app, I should have done it sooner! The integration was really easy and the questions I did have were answered very quickly. Customers are already responding to the review requests. Today I set up the rewards portion and know that I'll be getting even more engagement because of that. Very happy so far!
