If i don't choose to upgrade the plan, then i couldn't get in the admin, all the reviews disappeared! Why? robber

Our Beginner plan is designed for stores starting their journey and is meant to help them grow their business. Once your order volume grows, we recommend upgrading the plan so that Loox is better suited for your needs. Even if you choose not to upgrade your plan, your reviews and settings remain exactly the same. I can see your Loox reviews are still displayed on your store pages. Note to those using the Scale version, LOOX has a potential charge when your order exceeds 300, there is an additional charge of up to $760, it gets expensive and even when I turned off the extra features, I was still overcharged . Their customer support is also not real time and you need to wait a long time for the issue to be resolved .

Delete it sooner the better. if you grow the price will be extremly high, if you earn $1 per order, you see you reach 300 orders it will charge you at least $35 per month. which means 10% net profit this APP will take from you, crazing. and there is no way you could export the images if you want to unistall.

I had not yet installed this app properly,however it managed to add itself into my theme and show all my products as 1 star rated!!! There was no reviews on loox as I had not installed it yet. Be careful as I didn't notice for days that all my products looked as if they are badly rated, I don't understand why that would happen, really not good and has likely lost me a lot of sales during what is suposed to be the busiest time of year!!

Atrociously expensive for what they offer. No way to transfer reviews to other apps if you ever want to move. The only way you can get reviews is in excel format which is useless. For the amount they charge they should have a system to sync reviews across Google, Shopify store and social media. I paid them $35 every month for a year and then stopped because it is a waste of money.

On the basic plan you have to pay 10$ a month for the app's Branding to show up on absolutely every page. You're basically paying them to make them publicity. I asked customer service and no help was given apart from "just pay us 40$ a month instead"

They're literally stealing money with their plans. Our store got charged $400 last month for a plan we didn't choose.

While I understand it's stressful to get a charge you weren't expecting, the plan and its pricing were presented and approved by your team and no money whatsoever was taken without prior approval of the plan's terms. Apps on Shopify in general, can only charge for their app if the merchant explicitly chooses and approves payments for that subscription. Since our plans are designed to scale with you, they include additional charges that are based on your usage of the system each month. The charges you are referring to are usage fees which were triggered through the use of the system as mentioned in the subscription's terms. We completely understand that costs are a big part of every merchant's decision about which apps to use and we've built Loox to provide a great return on investment on all of our plans. The fact it makes you pay an extra $25 usd to be able to send more then 100 review requests is WRONG! I don't want all the other BS features you offer otherwise I would have already upgraded. I loved this app because of the option to have photos but now I will be looking for a new app.

Used it for months, but then they randomly started charging me a $35 usage fee on top of the subscription fee. On top of that, the app randomly stopped working for 2 days and I couldn't import reviews - then days later all of the reviews I tried importing all came flooding in. By that point, I had already moved on to AliReviews instead. Much better review app.

this app will drain your money, there is no way to setup a spending limit for automatic reviews they will keep charging you 28dollars per 300 emails which is really expensive, I can't find anyway to stop these automatic reviews.

Was using the app and it worked perfectly and out of the sudden they disable access on their dashboard app if you don't upgrade the plan ??? next plan says and i quote "300 review requests included in base price + $28 per additional 300 emails" but there is no way to limit how much you want to spend so you could easily pay hundreds of dollars without control over it! Disabling the messages to new customers if a certain volume of orders is reached, is understandable. But closing access to the app due to a certain amount of orders ?????? As soon as next month when I get access to the app again I will delete it and transfer all my reviews to another app. NEVER AGAIN LOOX !

Arrivati ad un certo numero di ordini ti obbligano a passare al piano a pagamento da 35$, nonostante il primo sia già a pagamento 9,9$. Questa cosa non ha assolutamente senso, non dovrebbero permetterlo. Sono riuscito a spostare tutto su un'altra app e non mi vedranno mai più, nemmeno per altre app. SCONSIGLIO!!!

I don't mind paying extra for "premium" or "best-in-class" services for my stores and I thought Loox was like that. IT WASN'T! This app is pure greed. I reached my limit (which is ridiculous) and cannot access the app AT ALL without upgrading to a higher tier plan. I can't export my reviews due to this. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS GREEDY COMPANY

Cobros sorpresivos, este mes nos han cobrado el doble y no hay donde dirigirse para hacer el reclamo correspondiente. Pésima app, cobros fantasmas, hay otras que son gratuitas y hacen exactamente lo mismo.

You don't allow your customers to reply or or edit our previous replies unless we pay even more than we are already paying. Not a great experience. We don't like to be nickeled and dimed at every turn. Sad really.

2023: Works great. Maybe a little early to draw a cohesive conclusion, but compared to the reviews app in Vitals this works much better, both on the customer end (adding reviews, getting reward, receiving mails), and administering and displaying the reviews. UPDATE 2025: We contacted Loox to get a feedback on why they haven't informed us clearly enough how much the additional orders would cost us or why the haven't moved us over to the Unlimited plan. Since this isn't displayed clearly in the app itself, only when you go through the Shopify bill this hasn't caught our attention until now, leaving us with a total bill to Loox this year at $USD 9959.76… On their website or in the app itself they do not inform users about the "Unlimited" plan (299$ per month) that is shown in the Shopify App Store. When I flagged this to the chat support I was very quickly stopped and moved over to email and the chat was reset. So if you're wondering why Loox is doing so well? Look for the fine/hidden print in the plan.

UPDATE 08/08/2024 Loox app has suddenly stopped working. Support are not helpful in the slighest saying that it is my theme which is the issue however Loox has been running on this version of my theme for years now.

I can no longer enter the application if I do not subscribe to the superior plan, even if they charge me $14.99 every month !!! it's a forced sale! very disappointing! Do not use this app, you will be the next victim.
