Increased price to $132 without notice. $100 more than what I was previously paying. Customer service is terrible. Their website provides false information/advertising.

Previously, you were charged for 2,607 billable contacts up until September, your audience then increased to 9,286 billable contacts thus increasing the price you were charged. We understand how overwhelming it can be to face such increment in your billing, but if you should feel the need to decrease such fee, we always recommend segmenting inactive contacts and unsubscribing them to avoid such increase. We greatly appreciate your feedback once more. I have had some issues with Omnisend since beginning using it, from it's limitation of sizing (popups) to a few other things. But today, I put the account on a freeze to explore some options and better looks, and they charged me for the freeze and also charged me for the next month of service. Doesn't get much more corrupt than that. I reached out to support (which they make difficult) and go a non-answer answer of let me pass this to someone else. Taking this and the price increases into account. I would advise against using Omnisend anymore, but be careful how you get out. They may charge you more for leaving.

My SMS no longer works even though i still have enough SMS credits. They said I need to verify the phone number but doesn't allow me to verify it until my store goes alive. I'm not ready for launching the store yet without knowing if the app will work. The support is very unhelpful. The online chat replies to me very slow, sometimes takes days. Now i'm stuck and can't use the SMS

Emails add links with 12x34y.myshopify.com URLs and not the store's primary domain name with no way to fix. Also, in their email editor, if you add inline links, they don't work when sent despite having a link and being a different color in the editor. Customer support doesn't know how to fix either of these issues. They said it would take 24-48 hours to see if there was a solution and then took an hour and a half to actually escalate my concern. Their timeframe to address basic problems shows they don't understand marketing. Update: They got back to me and said this was normal and fine because the URL gets redirected. So they didn't listen to me saying over and over and over that it was not what I wanted. Now, another 24 hours to wait after saying it's not fine and repeating myself. I have to ask for this to be fixed again. Such a frustrating experience. Every time you talk with them you go back to an expediter-type person who then relays your message back to them. So this "they respond in a few minutes" is true but not by anyone who can help. This apps customer support is the absolute worst of the worst. Please god let me talk to Comcast instead!

Ich bin in letzter Zeit Sehr unzufrieden mit dem Support. Lange Wartezeiten auf Rückmeldungen und dann kommen antworten , mit denen man nichts anfangen kann. Bei diesen überteuerten Preise der App, erwartet man wenigstens einen besseren Support. Aktuell bin ich sehr unzufrieden und kann Omnisend nicht weiterempfehlen!

I've been studying this app for the past few days, and I've discovered a major flaw that I hadn't noticed before. Welcome emails are only sent when using the Omnisend pop-up subscription. For instance, new subscribers to my store receive a 15% discount. However, if a customer registers an account or subscribes via a Shopify page, this app does not send the discount and welcome email. I realized this issue when I noticed that I had 40 people subscribe in one day, but the app only sent out 5 welcome emails. This means the other 35 new customers did not receive my discount email. It's hard for me to estimate how many orders this has cost me Easy to use and set up, but expensive. Sending emails like this is a basic feature that shopify should provide. This app increases in cost as your customers increase and keep increasing. You can't change it, only delete it.

I am not very happy, very bad first impression of Omnisend. Downloaded app 5 days ago. Process was pretty easy in the beginning to set up but then I hit a wall by not being able to verify my domain. It's been 5 days yet nobody has helped me solve this problem, my business has been unable to send out marketing campaigns and it's been 12 hours since I last spoke with someone in customer service who basically ignored me. Terrible way to start things and it's hurting my business.

A horrible customer service experience. Worked on an Email template for over 2 hours and after activating the same, the template got reset (twice). Contacted the customer service who kept me waiting for half hour only to get a reply that it will take them 48 hours to check on the issue if this can be fixed. What is worst is that they assign staff based on the tier of the customer you are which is quite bias already. If this review doesn’t get updated, most likely I switched to Klavio.

Product doesn't work. 40 genuine customers clicks out of 10k. Scammers? google analytics doesn't show your traffic? why? Shopify FREE email app with 900 subscribers generating 6 times income than your 10k subscriber plan for £150.00 - 10000 emails per month. You can create/delete/update customer segments but it will always stays to your max plan. Once you uploaded - you pay for the rest of you contract. Stay away.

I recently had a terrible experience with this service. To make matters worse, they don't even have a phone number to call for help! When I tried to get assistance through their online chat, the operator was unhelpful and didn't seem to care about my concerns. I am extremely disappointed with this service and would not recommend it to anyone.

Omnisend will actively restrict what you do with your customer email data. Customization of segments and work flows is not possible at all.

UPDATE: CONTINUES TO GLITCH. This has beautiful templates and is a more affordable option than alternatives, but unfortunately the glitches mean you end up paying for it. It frequently stalls out and although the team gets back with a response, it does mean that you are delayed sending out emails by hours or days which is precious time for a small business owner. Former review: I've been really disappointed. I switched because it seemed like a great option for my small business, but the bugs they've had this week meant that I couldn't announce my shop's grand opening, I couldn't send out my two year anniversary celebration email, and I'm waiting to send out emails to customers for our soft launch! The workaround they gave me hasn't worked either. When it worked, it was great, but it's crazy to have these issues several days in a row when we rely so heavily on email marketing.

I take great pride in firing this BS company because they do not care about their customers enough to offer telephone support for basic account setup issues such as Custom Domain Setup. Instead, they push you off on your DNS provider, which is sleazy. Shame on you, Omnisend! Shopify is no better. Their chat agents need to be better trained in such matters.

As we can see, you already had your custom domain signed with another app you used previously, and this app also used the same provider as Omnisend; hence this domain was already present in the system. It is impossible to add domain to your Omnisend account since it currently exists on a different account within Mailgun system. Therefore additional verification was needed. The issue was resolved, and you added the domain to your account. Sorry again for any troubles you have faced and thank you for your feedback.

Seems they have a lot of "good reviews", most likely all of those are fake. Installation and setting everything up is seemingly easy, but at least in our Abandoned Cart flow, we encountered lots of bugs. Issues with Omnisend: - Emails go out at random times and the delay set between the emails is completely useless. For example an email that was supposed to go out 15 minutes after the abandoned cart, arrived in the inbox 8 hours later. - At times the emails did not arrive at all, not even in the spam folder. This was not a setting issue. - Worst part was that the final test we did with a completely new email, duplicate amount of emails were sent. Of course hours later once again, and then again 9 hours later. - The discount code they generate does not seem to be automatically applied in the checkout. ...Did not investigate this further as the app proved to be useless, we are not even going to bother with support, they too did not reply as the recommended time frame. All of this set us back 2 days. Would not recommend using.

We will provide some info here as well, but please note that in order to investigate this case, we would need some examples of such cases (with their emails): - There are few reasons for the issue with delay, it could be related to a contact who comes and updates their cart a few times, or it could be an editing workflow case; - This issue would be better to investigate with our team and we would appreciate if you could provide an example of such case; - Most likely related to frequency settings in the workflow and can be easily fixed by enabling this option; - Shopify generates discount codes, Omnisend only sync them and adds to the email, in order to automatically add a discount code to the checkout page, you need to enable this option in discount settings when customizing your email. 1- They charged for SMS and their SMS doesn't even work in the UAE. I requested a refund and they never replied back. and again I got charged for 2nd month. 2- the welcome discount generated for use of signup is a complete disaster! if you have sales on your store the new user will get additional discounts and you will end up losing so much money as there's no way to control the code they generate.
