Horrible Support! Canned Responses, Excuses and political messages which don't fix our issues. Some Buttons are way too small which makes the app super unfriendly for customers, compared to other review apps. Support gives you useless responses as to that they will improve the app and add features in the long run, but like most companies out there do, we've noticed that all features that have been added over the past year(s) are features to MAKES LOOX MORE MONEY, and nothing to make the widget more user-friendly. Sad! Oh and another thing they lie about, is that the Reviews get indexed by google as "content". NOT TRUE. Their Review app injects content from their website via java script in an iframe onto your website. Google does not index this as content. If you use google search console, simply do a live test of any url with reviews. There's also tons of other free tools out there to test a site via fetch&render as "google bot". Then check the results. None of the reviews will show up as content for our page. Don't be fooled by this marketing trick. While the app works with google shopping and your reviews will shop up there, these are 2 different pairs of shoes and content vs. reviews snippets on google shopping and search results, are not the same when it comes to how google recognizes it.

I don't recommend this app. I had this app installed before. I wanted to try again, but it turns out that if your country language is not available there, To customize the text, you must upgrade to the higher plan, which costs $69. I uninstalled the app ( I had it installed 2min literally), and still, they will charge me $29.... So disappointed.

This will let you use Loox in the language that you choose. Please search for an email from our Support team regarding further steps on how to achieve this. In regards to the charge, it seems that this store has had Loox installed in the past and hence the trial was not available when it was installed again. No worries, I have contacted you privately to verify some information for your account so we can sort out both the charge and the translations.

Really scammy type of pricing. We just want basic reviews and they've made us upgrade. Will be deleting it. There are far better options Still having problems - their integration doesn't work well with Google Ads which is a big issue.

REALLY disappointed to have the LOOX Branding even though I am paying $35/mo. To remove the logo branding, you need $65/mo plan..... If you change this, I will most certainly change my review to 5.

I was told there is a trail of 14 days, although I deleted the app to avoid paying the app as my store wasn't ready yet I was billed for a full month don't use try this app not even for 14 days that's how they lure you in & gues what surprise you get billed.

I've taken a look at our logs and I can see you removed Loox from your store about 3 days after your 14-day free trial ended, which is why Shopify triggered an automatic app charge. Overpriced for what it is. There is better alternatives for a cheaper price, although Loox has been going the longest. The import AliExpress reviews feature is weak, only allows for 100 reviews at a time, and you can only import one of the images not multiple per review. The worst part is that you can't edit the text of the reviews, rendering most the aliexpress reviews as useless, because they are written in terrible grammar/translated and hurt your credibility more than they help. The app has a long history and credibility, although there is nothing special about this app that makes it stand out, and the competition is evolving much faster at a much better rate. Disappointed.

Please note that Loox lets merchants choose which country to import reviews from and we use AliExpress's translation to give more translating options for merchants who can't find reviews from their original country. In addition to AliExpress's translation, we offer integration with the Weglot app, which translates your reviews to your customers' language! Very expensive compared to other similar apps with similar features, just switched to Judge, same plan costed $60 at Loox but now it costs $15 on Judge. What really bothered me the most, is that it's not compatible with multi-languages websites because the app is embedded in an iframe and can't be translated with translation apps and the support did not offer much help.

Hey, Josh from the Loox team here :) Apps on Shopify automatically lose all access to edit themes once they are removed from a store. This means that apps cannot, on a technical level, remove codes once they are uninstalled. With that being said, we offer a full guide on how to remove any leftover code on our uninstall email. Should you need any assistance with removing/editing code, I have already contacted you with how we can proceed.

Expensive, couldn't customize reviews. We all know how poor the reviews from aliexpress are and we have to import exactly what those words are to our website. So I removed this app from my store. However, there are left codes. Now all of my products are showing 7 reviews even if there's no review at all.

Please note that Shopify manages all app charges and billing cycles according to their policy here: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/your-account/manage-billing/your-invoice/apps While Loox does not support review editing, our AliExpress importer allows you to disable automatic AliExpress translation and import reviews only from a certain country, or choose not to import a certain review's text. In regards to any leftover code, when you uninstall Loox, all review widgets and star ratings should be removed from your store automatically. If for some reason this doesn't happen, we offer a full guide on how to remove any leftover code on our uninstall email. In any case, our support team is always happy to help! Hello Loox team, i have installed this app on 19th August 2020 and deleted in this app within the trial period, but i charged for $30 for this. According to the trial, I should not be charged when the app is in the trial period but you charge me, please take this into consideration and refund the amount. I don't want to use this app.

Please note that Shopify manages all app charges and billing cycles according to their policy here: When you choose a plan you need to approve payments before starting the trial itself. Since you approved this payment and finished the free trial, Shopify automatically started an app charge as expected. I checked Shopify's logs for your store and I can see you chose the $29.99 plan on July 18th, got our 14-day free trial, and was charged as expected on August 1st. Loox, or any other app, cannot charge you for anything you didn't approve Shopify to charge you.
