Termination of Service – Switching to Judge.me Dear Ryviu Team, We would like to inform you that we have decided to discontinue using the Ryviu app for our product reviews and review feeds. Unfortunately, our experience with your support has been disappointing, and we’ve faced multiple issues without timely or effective resolution. Additionally, we find your XML file plan to be unreasonably priced, especially when compared to alternative platforms. Judge.me offers a far more affordable and user-friendly solution, which better aligns with our business needs and expectations. Thank you for your past service, but we are moving forward with Judge.me.

Very horrible app, You feel helpless like you were robbed! You can not cancel the subscription on the app and I am still being charged!

Hi Mark, We're truly sorry to hear about your experience, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Allow me to clarify the situation: Your subscription was indeed canceled on April 19th. However, as your billing cycle started on April 13th, the bill for that cycle was generated at that time. Since our system operates on pre-paid billing, your account remains on the paid plan until the end of the cycle on May 13th. By the way, we have already processed a full refund for your account. We understand how frustrating this could be, and we're continuously working to make subscription management more transparent and user-friendly. Used this app for over a year. Worked great initially. The email automation to send review requests now breaks all the time and you won't notice until you wonder why you aren't getting any new reviews and go check to see hundreds of scheduled emails that never send. Support is not helpful in the slightest with the issue. Looking for a new review app do not waste your time.

This app is riddled with bugs. Every time I reach out to customer service, their default response is "you're wrong," regardless of the issue.

Stay away from Ryviu. In their plan and offerings, they have mentioned Google Rich snippets in the first plan which makes you believe that you can display your reviews and ratings on google shopping ads/SEO. However, after installation, reviews import, when I read their tutorial at the time of implementation, it says "This feature is available on Ryviu Unlimited plan only". There are several things I don't like about the app. One of them is that it doesn't allow you to import by ID; you have to do it through the product URL, which often changes. Additionally, you can't delete all the reviews with just a few clicks; you have to do it page by page. So if you are a website with many reviews, you will really waste a lot of time just deleting reviews. The person who attended to me was Chloe, who was really cold and unempathetic. From what I have seen of the app so far, I do NOT RECOMMEND IT.

This app needs a lot of work as does their customer support! It says they have 24/7 support--they don't at all. have to wait hours for a response. You also have to repeat the issue over and over andthey give a solution that doesn't work. They are not thorough in trouble shooting. I was trying to upload a csv of saved reviews and every word that had an apostrophe in it, had an error code displayed where the apostrophe should have been. They kept saying to do this and that to fix it and no solution worked. Also my reviews are not listed on the actual pages on my shop--just when you click on the product listing do you see the review. Obviously, they should automatically have it programmed to see it in both places.

The csv-import of my Shopify Product Rating app failed. The support answered only 3 days later – as a bot with an answer that didn't even begin to solve the problem. Deleted the app right away.

Total waste of money. Does no more than other free apps. Don't get ripped off like I just did. £9.99 to import Etsy reviews and it didn't even work

NO UNINSTALL FEATURE. Installer beware. I found other apps to be better... but that's not the core reason behind 1-Star, the core reason is this: Ryviu installs inself into your Shopify with no true uninstall option. Sure, you can delete it, but enjoy having their buttons and nonsense in your back-end product viewer FOREVER (like within your shopify interface). I messaged them asking for how to remove it; no response. Every other app Ive installed has easy uninstall options (where needed) or fast customer service. Update: it was a Ryviu chrome extension that came with the App (?) causing this on the shopify side of things. Interestingly, it was never active, but requesting access-- yet still causing this mischief. So to uninstall: You need to go into about 5 different pages (Theme pages, Product pages) search Ryviu, delete them. Then make sure that the extension (which I'm guessing installs on its own and then runs on its own without being approved) is then deleted too. Yuck. Better still, don't install this in the first place.

Hi there, Dan here from Ryviu. - You can simply uninstall our app by clicking Delete next to Ryviu - Product Reviews app from your Shopify store admin > Apps. Our app cannot remove codes that were added because when uninstalling, you removed the permission of Ryviu to connect with your store but they will not work and affect your store after uninstalling the app. - Ryviu icons you see on your Shopify Products come from Ryviu's chrome extension, you can delete this extension from your chrome then icons will be removed too.
