Experiencing the same problem with 19mileStore. Slow customer supports. Can't start my business waiting for their support! Fvck. Damn it.
Hello there! Stoyan here from the SMSBump team. I am sorry that you had to experience this. What happened was something that we were not expecting. Fortunately, it was resolved within the same day it was reported. As I explained in the other similar review, there was a minor technical problem in the connection between two services. The problem was resolved in a couple of hours and since then there are no issues in this functionality. Now that part of the system is greatly improved and this should not happen again. As for the slow support - usually we are pretty quick to reply, however, as you can imagine, we had a lot of requests on that day and we were a bit overwhelmed. I can see that the app is not uninstalled, so you should still be using it. If you do have any questions, feel free to reach out to us ✌️ UPDATE AUG 21st: We are still waiting for a feedback from the client.

I am going to be so furious if the message I just spent 2 hours on after I figured how to do it, has just vanished! I pressed test to have it sent and it is gone. I think it is just playing with me.. we save drafts for everything... I'm not even a tekki and I know that, and I know this was not created without a save for newbies to just loose everything. With a deadline in the morning. It is late and I have to redo this now... Nah. Not good.

For a customer service based app, where is the customer service? Couple issues that have been recurring for me. (In my niche there tends to be a lot of abandoned carts, and they get recovered.) Problems: 1. I have had multiple instances where my customers have purchased and then they receive the first abandoned cart text. It also shows there has been a purchase amount. Put yourself in the customer's shoes... you just received an email confirmation for the order and also a text saying that you left your cart abandoned.... ? 2. Texts (my replies to my beloved) are not getting sent through, causing my customer service team extra work for something that is a basic function. Thankfully my customer service team is A+ and our customers are super understanding. Proposed solution: 1. Somehow do not send customers who have purchased these texts.. Merge profiles, take into order amount, do whatever it takes.. just please don't confuse the customers. 2. Reply on the chat. It's currently a non-holiday 7/22/2020 at 4:30 pm. Hopefully it's some sort of glitch (as I have to keep relaying to my customers) that can be fixed soon.

Terrible app, it also kept charging me when I tried to turn it off! I have reached out to customer service multiple times without response!

We checked your case, and it seems that you were automatically charged mainly because you left the Auto Recharge option active on your profile. We've contacted you a couple of times to show you how you can disable it. We even disabled it manually on our side, so you don't get charged additionally. In addition, we've contacted you so you can get a refund on the money that was not used. However, as of now, we've not received a response. The app is not working, tried to reach support in 3 different times, got excuses, upgraded to a bigger package for functionality, still don't work. The App was used to be good, not anymore. seems they don't care.

I used the app not as marketing tool to contact customers, but to notify staff/admin via SMS of new orders. No intent at all to contact customers. To activate the app, they need to manually verify your site to see if the GDPR notes have been added on your site. That’s quite good- if you were going to contact customers in the first place. I couldn’t activate it because support (Angelica) said the app is mainly used to contact customers, and therefore I needed to make changes to my site for GDPR compliance (eg, opt-in, privacy, etc). I tried to explain that I do not plan to use it at all to contact customers. Further, I specifically do not want to add those language on my site because I don’t want to mislead my customers into thinking that I would actually contact them for marketing purposes. The support person kept going in circles about the app being mainly used for marketing, and I kept trying to explain that I would only use the notification for admin alert to process orders. They do have that functionality to alert the admin only, so why are they asking me to also use it to contact the customers when I don’t want to use it in that way?? It was so weird how they basically force you how to use the app, and that you cant use the app for internal SMS notifications only. Even if they have that functionality. Until now I’m still baffled.

Poor customer Service.... App sent 3 texts in error and charged me 3 times t $90 a piece! They acted like it wasn't their fault......i wish i had a screen recording.... use another SMS app

Not very useful. Trying set up some things but the pages dont load on mobile devices. Not sure why. No information provided on this. Doesn't seen to be working at all. Wont use again unfortunately

THIS APP CHARGED ME $70 AND I SENT 4 MESSAGES. WASTE OF MONEY SUPPOSED TO BE $1.50 PER MESSAGE. DIDNT GET A REPLY BACK TO MY EMAIL EITHER. THIS APP SUCKS

Paid their fee, then was told we could not upload current customers. We asked them to issue a refund and they denied. Waste of money for us.

SMS Marketing is governed by different regulations in the USA, Europe and Asia/Oceania which most of the times go down to not allowing any uploads unless they are with an explicit written consent, meaning people knowingly opted n for text messages. Our compliance team carefully reviews each request for upload of contacts and when the opt in is too general we would prefer not to put your business at risk. As far as the refund it has been taken care of.

I used this app to send text marketing to my customers. This app is absolutely inefficient. I paid for texts to be sent to my customers and the texts never went through. I contact the support team and they told me they were having technical issues but could not provide an alternative solution. It takes tech support at least 20 mins to respond to your LIVE CHAT messages even after you can see they have read the chat. Very slow and INEFFICIENT. Don't waste your time on this app...very frustrating experience. I also used this app to send abandoned cart text messages and for the first time ever, my abandoned cart recoveries hit a low of 5%. My recovery was always at 7% or higher. SMSBump is the worst!!!

Just to throw a bit more light on the case, there was a hiccup and a support member who was working on your case was investigating the issue you were describing hence the 20 mins to respond to your message. Definitely something that could have been communicated better. As far as the attribution goes we've recovered 78 orders while you were using our software. The % of recovery is in thousands and definitely much higher than disclosed here.

we used the app for 6 months when suddenly we could not add funds in our account,customer service provide us some info which requires a bachelor to do it and they never respond back to us.. Of course they charged our account for a whole month without a refund
Hello and thank you for your comment. Stoyan here from the SMSBump team. From what I saw, it seems that you were charged for the subscription plan you were on at that given moment. Shopify does that automatically once a month unless you specify that you want to cancel the plan. As you can see, this does not depend on us, and it is not related to the add funds functionality. In addition, the add funds option is also managed by Shopify - we can initiate the payment, however, we can add the funds to your account only when Shopify notify us that a successful payment has gone through their system. Unfortunately, sometimes Shopify has some delays with the payments, and some people, such as yourself, may think that the issue was caused by us. It seems that you are no longer using our product. Nevertheless, if you decide to give us another shot, our support team will be happy to help you get the most of it.

CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT FORMING AGAINST THIS APP!!! DO NOT INSTALL WARNING!!!!! THIS APP SENT SPAM MESSAGES TO ALL OF MY CUSTOMERS... I spoke with the developer and all he offered us was not not charge us for the spam messages sent. YOU WILL LOSE CUSTOMERS, very unprofessional... DO NOT INSTALL.. DO NOT DO IT... I would have given more stars but it seems that customer service doesn’t reply back. I surly understand the epidemic that’s going on but it wasn’t a problem with communication until after I was told about me receiving my refund from a miscalculated charge. I’ll say it’s been more than a week since our last communication where I was told about a refund only to not hear from them again. With the attempt to email them twice since then. I would have love to just kept this situation through email but this seems the only way to actually get someone to respond.
Hello and thank you for reaching out. It seems that you had a bad experience with our app, for which we apologize. It seems that there was an issue with the payments. From what we understood, there was a delay on Shopify's side in regards to your case. Unfortunately, there is not much we can do about this, because all payment requests are managed by Shopify - we can send payments to you, but it is up to Shopify and their payment schedules on when those payments will be received by you. Don't expect the automation to work properly. Once you run into the malfunctions don't expect customer support to be helpful. They hardly know how their own app functions and never actually fix the glitches in the software.

Edit: I messaged them on Wednesday, not the weekend and it said 10 minute response. Then I left a message through email. Can't believe you are trying to say I contacted you on Friday or the weekend. I couldn't even use the App because it would not let me past the account creation screen. It's been 5 days and I have not received a response from online chat assistants nor from email. I am in the USA, so country is not the problem.

I REALLY wanted to like this app, because the features like segmentation and Klaviyo integration look awesome. However - I am very tech-savvy and after installing it properly, I realized that for weeks the app had not been collecting subscribers from checkout or sending abandoned cart reminders! This has lost me a lot of potential revenue =( I have contacted support twice, with no resolution as to why it's not working for me. I've just switched back to Postscript.io and without any tinkering at all, it is successfully collecting subscribers for me and sending abandoned cart text reminders for my store.
We REALLY wanted to help this client. We tried to get in touch about 12 times on multiple channels. Email, FB and no response. We had our team check and unfortunately all issues were due to the fact that he had a modified checkout. Something he did and it seems the app recommended did custom for them. Unfortunately after telling our findings and being promised a staff account the customer never responded. Its been 2 weeks now and it seems the customer just does not want to respond back. Also the bad part about all that is that the customer's checkout is not TCPA compliant. Not sure who set it and how and why messages are sent at all when there is no explicit consent. For anyone reading this be very careful as this is how you may get in trouble!
